The meatball sub was large but just ok, soggy. The pizza also just ok. The first pizza I ordered they were very stingy and sparse with the toppings. I had to air fry the pizza to make it more crispy and cooked. Funnel cake fries were mid. On the expensive side. I would just order the wings again and pizza from somewhere else. I've had great pizza, good pizza and bad pizza in almost every corner of America from Las Vegas to Key West, and I have to say this might be the absolute worst pizza I've ever had. The atmosphere was dead, the dining area was dirty in certain spots, and the employees were rude and seemed more interested in playing on their phones instead of working. This pizza place is my favorite. The pizza is so delicious! I like to try the meal items, also- like eggplant parmesan, lasagna, eat. The eggplant meal was a couple of slices of soggy eggplant on top of a ton of spaghetti & sauce. Putting eggplant on top of the sauce makes it soggy. Did not need so much spaghetti & sauce. This costed $14. The second meal I tried was the lasagna. I like a little ground beef in my lasagna- but the meat was on every layer! It was ground beef overkill, literally. This was a third/fourth chance due to their location... still very disappointing. The crust wasn't even cooked and the center was doughy and raw. I've tried this place enough and its the definition of insanity. I even got one of their take and bake to pizzas to go. The sauce is so bland there is no flavor. The pepperoni were grocery store quality and the mushrooms were canned. No flavor. The crust didn't rise or bake properly the next day on the take and bake. I'm done. I moved to Gainesville a little over a year ago and the pizza here was amazing. This is no longer the case. I went back a few months ago and the pizza was terrible (crust was thick, suave was too sweet, etc.). Before I wrote them off I decided to try again and the pizza was even worse. Awful customer service! I ordered a pizza and it wasn't cooked all the way through. The dough was literally RAW. I called and let them know and their response was for me to pop it in the oven to cook it or spend more gas money to drive it to their business so THEY can put it in their oven. A pizza place that makes everything fresh to order. It definitely takes longer than Little Cesar but the difference is worldly. The prices are cheap and the taste is delicious. I'm a huge fan of their marinara sauce. However I was not a fan of the garlic rolls. It was too crunch on the outside for my liking and too greasy that I barely wanted to finish eating it after a bite. The Hawaiian pizza was my favorite and I love the dough also. I prefix this review with the fact that I moved here from NY a few months ago. So my standard is set by my experience in NY. I ordered my family's dinner as a pickup. The attendant was very nice and accurately placed my order. Ordered the large pie with garlic knots dinner special and an order of spicy chicken wings. Included was two extra toppings on the pie but I just got extra cheese. All this came out to under $30. Picking up the order was uneventful. The folks are super friendly and had the order ready. I only live ten minutes away and the food was nice and hot when we started eating. Large pie with extra cheese. So as documented on the menu this is a 16 inch pie. From where I am from this is more like a medium-sized pie. The crust is what I would expect out of a NY pizza. The sauce is bland. The amount of cheese is what I would have expected as standard, not an extra portion as I had ordered. Garlic knots. In my opinion these are not garlic knots. I would describe it as garlic flavored corn bread. It was very airy and was not tied into knot. Spicy chicken wings. The wings were pretty big with lots of meat. The flavor was good but they were super dry. The consistency made them inedible. This was my first visit and I plan on returning because perhaps this is not the typical experience. I always want to give a place at least five visits before coming to a final resolution. Will post again to update the review. One star for great customer service + one star for order accuracy = Two stars. The remaining three I reserve for yummy which just wasn't there. read more

My wife and i lived in Queens NY for a year , so we have high hopes for a place which claims it serves New York Pizza. Unfortunately the pizza here was just ..okay. Our base test is always to try a cheese slice (to see if they can nail the basics). The pizza dough was bland and the sauce was boring. On the bright side their interior decor did remind me of some old school NYC pizza joints (wish they did not have an over abundance of NYC ikea art) I think they had Upstate New York in mind and not NYC pizza for their pies. It was behind a case, so they stick it in the oven to reheat it & at first I was thinking its not fresh but it was delicious regardless. And fairly fast which was important to me at that time. The meat was great & it was well balanced w the cheese & crust. I do like having an option of a slice & they do have a nice variety to choose. This is my to go pizza place in Gainesville! The pizzas here are really good (especially their specialties). You can order whole pies or slices that are really big.The crust is nice and crispy while the toppings are fresh! I lived in queens new york for awhile and this pizza is the closest I've had that is similar. The staff is always smiling and the owner makes small talk and ensures everyone is happy. Not only are the pizzas good but their entrées are also on point; I really enjoy their eggplant parmesan entree and I leave full. They sometimes have written down entree specials and I give those a go and I have yet to be disappointed. The calzones are really greasy but full of flavor. But, lets be honest, you wrap up three types of meat that have a lot of fat in it anyways and you bake it; of course theres gonna be a lot of oil because thats just how the ingredients are naturally! Id be more afraid if it wasnt oily. I just tilt it and so some of the oil will drip out. That being said, some reviews complain about the pizzas being too oily but again, you have cheese and meats that make oil so no surprise it might be oily. If its too oily, you can use their unlimited ultra special napkins to pat out the oil! Did I mention it was unlimited!?!? They even have a punch card rewards program that you ask for free. What other pizzeria does that? All in all, this a place for really good pizza and other dishes.
