She did everything she could to apologize and make the situation right, despite the issues with the kitchen and the misleading wording on the menu. My $30 steak was cooked incorrectly twice. There were also other steaks at our table that were not prepared as ordered, although those guests were willing to settle for what they received. When you're paying that much for a steak, it should be cooked exactly as requested. When my steak was finally corrected, my sides were ice cold, and they were not replaced. By that point, our party of six had finished eating and was ready to leave. Unfortunately, there were several other issues throughout the meal as well, including drinks and other food items that were not up to par. What was most disappointing was that the manager never came by our table to check on our experience, even though things were clearly going wrong. It left me wondering whether the manager was on the cook line dealing with the steaks and simply didn't have time for table visits. I have come time and time again disappointed with the pizza size and the time it took to make it. Size: Pizza used to come in the size of their box! As you can see in my picture, that is no longer the case. It is no longer an actual square like its namesake but a rectangle. It reminds me of "all squares are rectangles, but not all rectangles are squares." And while it makes me chuckle to think how SquareHouse should know that. I am still disappointed in paying for that much of a pizza when I could get a larger one to share with friends at the same price point elsewhere. Service: Now I understand they can get busy but one time I waited 25 minutes with only one person ahead of me for my food -- a before anyone says anything. I ordered their waffles. Another time, they never called my name. They have a speaker but don't use it. It is a food park with tables everywhere. If you don't use the speaker system and know folks sit further than you can scream, then I think they should give a beeper.
