Hit or miss. I came to this spot with my fiancé last night and we really enjoyed ourselves because they served drinks and food, as well as good hookah. They came around with coals every couple of minutes and the hookah was very smooth. It was somewhat pricey but worth it. Unfortunately, I came back a second time this evening and had a bad experience. The server took my order, and asked to see my ID. I gave it to her thinking she just wanted to check that I was of age, but in reality, she kept my ID. I asked another server what happened and my original server said it was policy to keep it at the bar just in case I ran off without paying. I let her know that this didn't happen the night before and according to her, her coworker didn't follow the rules. She was extremely passive aggressive about it and it left a bad taste in my mouth. Interestingly enough, a group of four sat near me and ordered hookah and drinks, and that SAME SERVER, literally just asked them for a card to put on file, and no one gave her an ID. It's obvious that that policy isn't actually policy. I was tempted to call for a manger to help me understand this, but I for think it's worth my time. With that said, I did enjoy the ambiance and the cleanliness of their bathrooms. Hookah lounges usually have dirty bathrooms so it was a good to see everything so clean. All in all. 2/5 stars, do not recommend. I definitely wont be coming back, but shout out to my server from the night before. read more

Manager/owner was weird to my girlfriend and kept calling her "baby girl" whenever I went up to get a drink. So while I was visiting from Los Angeles, my friend insisted that we come to this place for hookah and drinks. The atmosphere was quite pleasant. The beverages were excellent. however, a bit on the sweeter side, so I would recommend adding an extra shot of your favorite poison. Although the hookah was satisfactory, the music created a very relaxed vibe which made me feel sleepy. I inquired with a few staff members about the possibility of changing the music and they indicated that they would personally consult the owner. It took some time, but eventually the music improved. The ambiance became more enjoyable. I couldn't comprehend why the two employees I approached were hesitant to let me talk to the owner myself. Therefore, in the end, I introduced myself to the owner, expressed gratitude for the music change, and let him know how much I had enjoyed his establishment. I have passed I-mad a million times and have always been curious about it. I finally took the plunge and went in. You learn a lot about the vibe of a place from the security. The guard here was friendly and even told us that Happy Hour was available both downstairs and on the roof top. No attitude at all. The roof top here is like a secret garden. Plenty of seats and unique views of Old Town. Our server was Mariah. Warm, efficient, and eager to connect. She may have been working alone but she got everything out so fast! Mariah mentioned that a new menu is in the works and that it is possible they'll start serving lunch next spring! The only downside? It IS a hookah bar and that can be an issue when you aren't smoking yourself. We sat at a table next to two tables who were puffing away. The breeze brought plenty of smoke to our table. There was no solution other than to move tables (which we did not). If you come here to kick off the evening, I would suggest getting a table in a less crowded area. I always have a great time here. Imad's is very clean, the service is also on point especially by Carly. She is committed you can. She is literally running to get her customers what they want. She is always friendly and has a great attitude. On her game, she is a hustler and very good at what she does. Imad the owner is also nice. He is an engaged owner because is always here. Not only that he comes to each table to check and see how everything's going. It happens every time he is here. The hookah is on point. They have so many different flavors to offer and then when you mix a bunch with some of their recommendations it's even better. The outdoor patio with the TVs and the palm trees in the background is a great ambience especially in the fall/winter season. Vibe is good. Music is always going. Not a hookah smoker myself, but went with a 5 person group 2 of which smoked. The hookah was good according to my friends. I was happy that they had a full bar. I ordered my Ciroc Peach and Club soda and it was made very well, wish the glasses were a tiny bit bigger :) We ordered food, Butcher's block, Bruschetta (Mushroom, Marinated Artichoke, Sweet Brie, and Pesto) and they all tasted great. I also ordered "The O.G" which was some sort of a grilled cheese sandwich, i added avocado in the middle. It was well made. We sat outdoors in the balcony upstairs, as weather did permit. It was a slow night, one server on the patio and though it wasn't busy, she rarely stopped. However when she did, she was very engaging, and what surprised me is we ordered a lot of food and she did not write it down, but got every single order accurately and correctly. Good on you girl.
