As a resident in the neighborhood, I've pretty much given up on finding real bubble tea in the Greenpoint/Williamsburg area and go to Astoria for all my bubble tea cravings. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I ordered a bubble jasmine green milk tea here at I'Milky and it met the expectations of how a GMT should taste like. The tea flavor was prominent but not too much so and I felt like I could taste all the ingredients in the bubble tea. The pearls were a bit over cooked and were softer than I would have preferred, but still had the honey-soaked yumminess to it. I will be back to try the rest of the drinks! Prices are a bit high (I paid around $8 for my drink), but is to be expected given the area. Also...love how they have a lid on top of the seal- makes for a more secure drinking experience. The staff is super sweet and knowledgeable about all the different items served. You can customize the sugar level in your drinks, and add on different items, such a pudding. I tried the Taro milk tea with pudding. I love that the pudding gives it a great pop of flavor, which is not too overly sweet. Price point is reflective to the neighborhood. You can upsize your drink for an additional 50 cent, I believe. You can include add-ins for a few cents more. My larger size Taro Milk with added pudding was a bit over $9 Go give it a try. It's a small ship with four tables, but the service is quick and easy. I got the I'Milky Premium Black Milk Tea with boba and it was perfect. The texture of the boba is chewy but not overcooked. The sago was really bouncy and had a better texture that other sagos I've tried. The flavor was definitely predominantly mango, and I couldn't really taste the strawberry or pomelo that much, but it was still good. The black tea was fragrant and very apparent they use a real tea brew, yet not overpowered by the milk. The bubbles were chewy and fresh. After coming off the ferry decided to take a walk to Sephora and stumbled upon this place with my kids. Really tasty drinks (i love bubble tea) in a cool area of Williamsburg. I love that they you're able to tweak your drink to your liking..Less ice.. less milk.. whatever you prefer. Pretty solid bubble tea place and definitely can taste the freshness. The storefront is pretty small but super cute. It has 3 tables that you can sit at and enjoy. The customer service was a bit weird (had one worker constantly stare at me as I was taking pics of my boba and when I was actually going to shake it). Additionally when I ordered I asked for 70% ice then the worker said if I get 100% ice it'll be less sweet. So I said okay and she replied with 'what do you want?' My family and I were wondering if there were any good boba spots in Williamsburg, and I'm so glad this popped up. This is the spot, and one of the few, to get delicious boba. We ordered the Premium Black Tea and the Fresh Mango Tea. Both of the drinks were really flavorful! I also love it when they give you options for your ice and sweetness level. My go to's are always 30% ice and 50% sweet which they got on point. The tapioca pearls were also really good; they weren't too chewy and they seemed fresh.
