The environment of this place was very nice which lead me to believe I would have a wonderful experience. Unfortunately my experience took a turn for the worse. [[HIGHLIGHT]]When I sat down I told my nail technician I wanted french tips and chrome. She did not ask me what color french tip I wanted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] While she was doing my nails she drilled too far into my cuticle and then put acetone on it. This was off putting but I didn't let it ruin my experience yet. It didn't seem like they would turn out bad if they had chrome so I didn't correct the white french tip she gave me. She ended up either giving me no chrome or a very little amount. She then very quickly put oil on my fingers and sent me to the front. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She was quite unfriendly the entire time.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] When I looked at my nails I saw uneven french tips, unclean lines, and no chrome. I paid 80 dollars which was far more than I should've paid. Edit: I was speaking to a friend who does nails occasionally and i told her there was gel on my finger and I had to peel it off and she informed me that this is not okay. My last set with "John" had one nail (right thumb) that came off so I came in for a fix. John was there and did a rush job, and after he put two coats of color on the nail, he told me i was done. I came in with decently long nails for a fill. I asked for the picture listed below and to just trim my already round nails just a little bit. I got all different nail lengths and shapes and not the same color or chrome. Right hand is mostly rounded square. Left hand is a mostly round. They are thick and bubbled shaped on some nails. The fill is different thicknesses so you can see my nail beds on some nails and not on the others. My ring finger was filed so much that I have a little blister on the top of my finger. Yeah, wouldn't recommend and I won't be going back. Waste of money and my finger tips hurt. read more

This is my GO TO nail salon. Staff is incredible and they do an amazing job with any of your services. I've been coming here for a while now and I have yet to leave disappointed. I've brought multiple family member and friends here. Even my bf. Everyone loves this place! I used to love coming here because my nails would always last the full two weeks without chipping. Lately, though, the quality has gone down, and it feels like they barely last a week--just long enough so I don't come back to get them fixed. The vibe in the salon is very awkward. It seems like the techs are constantly being monitored or on edge, I feel I can tell some of them are uncomfortable - but could be entirely off base. I've noticed this before but didn't think too much of it since I'm not there all the time and have no context behind it to judge. Like any nail salon, the experience depends on who you get as a tech, but recently, I've had my nails painted over major cracks without any mention of fixing them. my nails always have had a little bit of a natural curve down but every time I go here it seems they curve more downward into a point where they look like claws - i've attempted to have them fix it by asking about it and even offered to buy a whole fresh new set and was told "it would be fine" - kind of brushed off and rushed to the end of service asap. I am planning on having my nails taken off and taking a break from all services. Anytime I've gotten a pedicure (4x) the color usually chips within the first week, but it's an amazing service and reasonably priced for all of the work they do on your feet and cuticles. Nails chipped after a week. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Had an appointment for lashes scheduled for 6:30pm showed up about an hour early to hopefully get my nails fixed. Receptionist upfront said let me check, went to check with a nail tech and stated "yes, we can get it fixed before your appointment. Please take a seat."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Took a seat and in the meantime 3 people checked out another 3 came in without appointment for pedis. And another 2 came in for full sets. The three for pedis were sat first and started. [[HIGHLIGHT]]During all this the tech who accepted to fix my nail and the receptionist were bickering back and forth about who originally did my nails and who was going to fix it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I was then called over to their stations along with the other full sets. By this time it was already 6:00pm. Everyone that came in after me was worked on prior while I was left seated at the station for an additional 30 minutes. It was time for my lash appointment and no fix. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It wasn't until I went back to the receptionist saying forget the nails I just want my lashes done was I "helped".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]Wasn't much either, it was a "what color is it, and the lash tech is ready".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I showed up an hour early to get the one nail fix and so it wouldn't interfere with my lash appointment. It was during my lash appointment where I had someone fix my one chipped nail, which I appreciate but it was a little uncomfortable as I couldn't see anything. Additionally you were able to clearly hear people come in and out of lash room which also was uncomfortable as again I could not see as the lashes are being placed. Additionally in regards on my lashes, the gal had me show her a picture of what I wanted so I did and asked if it was possible and if she was comfortable with it. She aid "of course, I can do that" but then proceeded to show me a picture of lashes she did on someone else and asked if I would like that. I stated "it's cute but I do not my lashes that full. I prefer the ones I showed". No surprise that when she was done it was not what I asked for but rather what she showed. (Lashes on one eye didn't even last for a week). I had no time to deal with these issues then as I had a dinner reservation right after. The nails look great but my experience with the technicians were not good at all. While doing cuticle care I was cut several times that made me bleed. Then a different tech, Denny, started doing my nails and cut more of them while using the drill. He was very rough and just seemed like he was annoyed. My fingers are very sore from how hard he was holding them. I was visibly shaky from the pain and was not enjoying my time. Great customer service. Comparable prices to other nail salons in omaha. The tech tried hard to fix them but the angles in the right hand were giving her trouble. I originally wanted gel x but she talked me into acrylic. I thought she would be more experienced in acrylic so I guess it's good that I didn't push to get the gel x. I was disappointed after leaving my nail appointment. I booked the refresh manicure as I wanted something quick and I normally do not do my nails ($25). (I also have very short nails and keep them short on purpose.) The nail techs would not let me just do the refresh manicure as it was "cheap" and my nails are so short and need to be hardened so they can get healthy and grow out... I tried saying I just want the regular I don't need anything fancy or extra multiple times but was not able to get that point across (my friend with me did too). I felt embarrassed and pressured and said okay to this "harder nail" which I was assuming was shellac/ gel polish. I was not explained about this nor the price. I was charged $55 for my nails which after looking at the service page again looks like I was charged for acrylic and gel polish. There is polish on my skin and my cuticles are cut, inflamed, and sore. Because I have short nails and they did this acrylic it looks so thick and bubbly on my nails, another reason I just wanted normal polish because it doesn't need to be thick on such a small surface areas. I am sad because I was also paying for a friend as a treat and ended up spending $140 for both of our short nails "acrylic" that we got put on. That is inclusive of a tip as I tip pretty good wherever I go despite the service because I know everyone is just out here trying to make money. I would've tipped good despite embarasing and pressuring me into a service I didn't want, so I am sad to say I won't come back. Plus my nails hurt and I don't like how they look. (I realize part of this is my fault for having short nails and not standing my ground for longer and saying no.
