Didn't take long to drink what little bit of coffee they gave me, they I got to enjoy my $7 cup of ice.

In my quest to do business locally, we stopped at I Wana Moka for some much needed caffeine on Saturday morning. We ordered an Iced Peppermint Latte, and wow did we ever get ice, and a little bit of coffee too. We basically payed over $7 for a cup of ice. This is why I almost always make my coffee at home. The flavor of the coffee was great, a little too sweet, but what little we had before we ran out of coffee was good. I might return to try again, and order light ice next time, in the meantime I hope they can improve and train the baristas to cut back on the ice, I could have just went to the grocery store and bought a bag of crushed ice for much less than $7 if I was just looking for ice. My caffeine craving was not at all satisfied, and I had to make coffee at home soon after.

    Ham breakfast burrito

I don't usually eat breakfast, but decided to have a breakfast burrito this morning. Yelp provided the perfect answer, of course! Saw the reviews and it was close. Asked the person at the window what kind of breakfast burrito they have, and informed me ham or sausage. I choose ham. The attendant asked if I'd like salsa with that, and I replied, please yes. After a few minutes, the arm came out of the window with a small/medium foil-wrapped burrito. And I drove away. When I got home, I noticed they didn't include the salsa as requested. Grabbed some taco sauce from the fridge and tried it. I could taste that it was okay, kind of bland, and was not freshly cooked. Just assembled. I gave the lower rating because the asked if I wanted salsa and left it out. and they could try to put any kind of seasoning or even some green onions/chives into the burrito. I had hoped for better service and flavor.

I've had lattes that tasted like lukewarm bean water and lattes that tasted like they were brewed by a robot with a grudge. But the latte I had at **Woods Coffee**? Pure, caffeinated magic. I'm pretty sure they didn't just steam milk; they whispered sweet nothings to it until it turned into silk. The ambience both upstairs and downstairs, in addition to having a beautiful view of the bay gives a vibe that is as warm as the coffee and tea and almost as warm as the hearts of the staff In fact it may even pale in comparison to the warmth of the crew: **Nate, Madeline, and Jesse.** These three aren't just baristas; they are basically the Avengers of hospitality. They are so friendly and kind that I'm convinced they might actually be humanitarian saints working undercover in the coffee industry. **Full Disclosure:** During my visit, I encountered a brief personal complication regarding my payment. Usually, this results in a walk of shame out the door. But Nate, Madeline, and Jesse: Rather than treating me like a transaction, handled the situation with an incredible level of empathy, kindness, and professionalism. Their ability to prioritize the customer experience has made me a huge fan of the Woods Coffee brand as such humanitarian grace is rare in the service industry today. They didn't just provide a caffeine fix. They just didn't provide the best Latte I have ever had. More than all that, they built genuine brand loyalty.. Go for the latte, ( the best in Puget Sound if not the country and stay because the staff will make you believe in humanity again

A coffee shop x cocktail bar in Bellingham with creative drinks overall. This place is best for…read morelarger groups as there is limited seating in the sense that there are a few tables that seat 6+ people easily, but we went around 3pm when it wasn't busy so we didn't feel guilty taking one of the larger tables to ourselves when it was only half occupancy. We tried the bioluminescence drink and the toasty marshmallow latte. The bioluminescence drink is very aesthetic and drinks like a soda / energy drink, though it is a one and done for me as I don't feel the sparkles are the most healthy thing. The toasty marshmallow latte was a bit pricy at $7.50 but they had 3 pieces of toasted marshmallow that is perfect (s'mores like but not burnt) and there is a lot of drink. It was on the sweeter side for me. They have Cinnamon Toast Crunch on the side but it was a bit stale, but I won't be docking off a star as there's not much to it and everything else was delicious. We opted to dine in for the aesthetics and I'd recommend doing so as there's higher price point doesn't seem as worthwhile if you take these drinks to-go
