    Pot of tea

I came here to telework for a bit mid morning on a Wednesday. I love getting one of their pots of tea and this time I got a gluten free pastry which was great. I love this coffee shop and used to come almost every weekend when I lived in the area. The baristas are so nice, the tea is exceptional and affordable, and the ambiance is homey. The only con is that it is so small that you are usually bumping into anyone else that is in there. For this reason I wouldn't really recommend staying for very long.

Came on a quiet Saturday morning for an under matcha. The server was kind and fast. I greatly enjoyed sitting next to the huge windows and soaking in the winter sun. The matcha itself was okay, not strong enough for my taste so I'd ask for more matcha next time.

We came here to pick up some iced tea to start our road trip. Friendly staff at the front and the drink was very refreshing. Small cafe with a cosy seating area.

This place makes tea lattes with the same creativity and intention more common for coffee. Lots of unique options to choose from on the menu. Love the Bellingham Fog, Amber, and rose matcha lattes. All are perfectly balanced and unlike anything I've had before. Smooth, flavorful, and not boring. Super cute inside the shop too. (Updated to add the rose matcha latte.)

    Campfire tea latte

Wow, what a great little coffee and tea shop. I had the campfire tea latte and was so surprised at how complex and balanced it was. I'm so used to walking into places that have "unique" teas and they are just sugar bombs. I'm excited to keep coming back and trying all the other latte options.

Wow! Like most of us, I drink plenty of coffee. It was suggested I check this place out and was super impressed. As soon as I walked up to the storefront and saw the cool sign and the outside seating I was intrigued. The whole place has a great vibe, then you walk through the door and the great tea smell hits you. I checked out the various tea "flavors"... Again, Wow! You can get lots of great tea at various places, but the selection here has a wonderful selection of teas I've never seen anywhere else. If you are a real tea person and haven't been here yet, you are missing out... You gotta head down there and check out the selection. But I wasn't here for tea, I came for the "vanilla latte better than any you have ever had"... See, vanilla latte is my jam, I love them. I was not disappointed. Stumptown coffee, which I've heard about but not had until now, as the coffee. But the flavor did not appear to be the ubiquitous flavor brands you typically see... Whether it was the coffee, the milk, the flavor, or the great vibe the place has... This was truly the best vanilla latte I have ever had. As a side, I was able to try one of my table mates green tea latte with matcha... I was hesitant... Largely because I thought it smelled like hay, but I was undeterred in trying something new. Again, wow!!! I have actually tasted hay, and the matcha did NOT taste like hay. It mixed in great to make it a drink worth having on occasional breaks from my first love - the vanilla latte. I also got to try a Mochi muffin. Yum! Check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

    Dirty chai + cake

Visited this little cafe at about 10AM on a Friday. Very nice aesthetic with lots of cute plants natural lighting and teas/coffee beans available for purchase. I had a dirty iced chai which was excellent with a piece of Lemon Lavender Bundt Cake. Ingredients all seemed organic and high quality making it worth the price. Ended up reading the paper and asking the nice barista where I could find the nearest Tailor.

Excellent tea selection and good coffee. No almond milk available. Parking is tricky on the street. Hours are tough. My matcha was a little grainy but excellent flavor! Chai was good. Beautiful simple location.

This quaint, cozy, little shop is the perfect place to snuggle in a seat with a book, come to study, or meet a friend while sipping away the delicious tea creations offered. Owner, Bridgett is so lovely, and made us the perfect blends of spices for our tea that was just delicious and hot on a chilly day. I love checking out places for delicious varieties of teas, and this place is has it!

Old World Deli is a true Bellingham staple- have been coming here for the last 5 years, been to…read moretheir swag raffle when they were rebranding for renovation, met the owner and even did wine tasting. They've renovated recently, but kept the heart of what makes the place special. It's now more modern, but still feels the same in all the right ways. Every time we're driving to or from Vancouver, this is a must stop for us. Folks that work there always give me the feeling they they like what they do and they know what they are doing. Their wine selection is quirky and fun. And near the register, there are often bottles you just won't see in typical US liquor stores. I usually pick one or two to try. On the food side, we always, always get the beet salad, german potato salad and mac salad- they are all made european style. Those are non-negotiable sides for us. Last visit they had a watermelon gazpacho on the specials menu that perfectly balanced sweet and bright, super refreshing. What they do best is keep things simple but execute flawlessly. A good chunk of the sandwiches you can get half ( then they become slightly expensive halves due to pricing :) )Great bread, great ingredients, no fuss. The Italian sub is proof. It's classic and spot on. My personal go-to, however, is the horseradish roast beef, fantastic combination. And the rotating panini specials are always worth a look. If you're passing through Bellingham, give yourself an excuse to stop in. We certainly do, every single time

First, the couscous is not the usual couscous we've all had. This is Lebanese couscous, which is so different as to be unrecognizable as "couscous". It is so very good, I could have a whole meal of that and be happy. I generally prefer baked falafels, but this fried one was great; crispy on the outside, and soft and green on the inside. I've avoided dolma in the past, as I had it once years ago and it was terrible. But this dolma was good enough for me to stop avoiding it in the future. People were very nice, and it took less than 10 minutes for my order to be ready. It's a grocery store with a deep selection of many items, such as spices, pastas, canned fish, .... (see photos). I enjoyed this enough, I came back again about a week later for another Sampler Plate meal. My only slight peeves are, I wish there were a bit more to the salad (which isn't even listed as one of the sampler items, so a bit hard to complain!), and that the pita had some whole grains in it (I find white wheat boring).
