I came here to telework for a bit mid morning on a Wednesday. I love getting one of their pots of tea and this time I got a gluten free pastry which was great. I love this coffee shop and used to come almost every weekend when I lived in the area. The baristas are so nice, the tea is exceptional and affordable, and the ambiance is homey. The only con is that it is so small that you are usually bumping into anyone else that is in there. For this reason I wouldn't really recommend staying for very long. read more

What a unique lovely find. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly lady, and made me feel right at home. This may not be why you go here but I have to say, the Peanut butter cookies: Best I've ever had. Lattes were delicious. I tried the Pink latte. Made with beet root and ginger and vanilla. Having recently stopped drinking coffee - this place offers the best of everything I enjoy: superb variety of quality teas, outstanding, down to earth and genuine service and a space that just feels welcoming and comfortable to be in. Wow! Like most of us, I drink plenty of coffee. It was suggested I check this place out and was super impressed. As soon as I walked up to the storefront and saw the cool sign and the outside seating I was intrigued. The whole place has a great vibe, then you walk through the door and the great tea smell hits you. I checked out the various tea "flavors"... Again, Wow! You can get lots of great tea at various places, but the selection here has a wonderful selection of teas I've never seen anywhere else. If you are a real tea person and haven't been here yet, you are missing out... You gotta head down there and check out the selection. But I wasn't here for tea, I came for the "vanilla latte better than any you have ever had"... See, vanilla latte is my jam, I love them. I was not disappointed. Stumptown coffee, which I've heard about but not had until now, as the coffee. But the flavor did not appear to be the ubiquitous flavor brands you typically see... Whether it was the coffee, the milk, the flavor, or the great vibe the place has... This was truly the best vanilla latte I have ever had. As a side, I was able to try one of my table mates green tea latte with matcha... I was hesitant... Largely because I thought it smelled like hay, but I was undeterred in trying something new. Visited this little cafe at about 10AM on a Friday. Very nice aesthetic with lots of cute plants natural lighting and teas/coffee beans available for purchase. I had a dirty iced chai which was excellent with a piece of Lemon Lavender Bundt Cake. Ingredients all seemed organic and high quality making it worth the price. One of my fav spots in Bellingham! 11th Hour is unlike any other spot in town. They have a drink selection that you can truly only get there - amazing beet infused hot chocolates and teas, rooibos chai lattes, and delicious golden milk! The space is SO cute! It's on the south end of State street where there isn't a ton of foot traffic, but worth remembering. The space is bright and has such a positive energy. There's wifi available, perfect for studying! I really like this place. It's small, but doesn't feel cramped b/c of high ceilings and its minimal wood-and-steel furniture and cheery lighting. They do coffee of course, but I'm more into their interesting drink offerings, like twists on classic matcha lattes, and their own tasty and comforting version of golden milk. If half stars were possible, I'd give one just for the service. Always warm (unlike another Bham spot I could name *cough* Camber *cough* *cough*) staff never seems put upon, and is hands-off, but responsive when needed. Coming here feels a little like hanging out at a friend of a friend's house. As someone who travels a lot, I cherish that feeling. read more

This is one of the best kept secrets in Bellingham! They have a new presence at the Farmer's Market on Saturday's so check them out! The shop on State Street atmosphere is serene and quiet and not only do they have a fine selection of teas and the very best superfood lattes in town by prior owners SAKU Tea, they now also have everyone's favorite, STUMPTOWN coffee! Each time, I basically walk-in, I point to a table, the staff give me a nod, and I sit down. It's never clear to me if we're supposed to grab our own drinks (and water), but we do, and they note on the bill as they take our order at our table. To pay, you actually go down the hallway to the store to pay the bill. So the service is somewhat confusing and rushed, but never rude. Overall, I still enjoying coming here. Food is cheap and authentic, so I'm willing to forgo some service here.

Even though it was a Saturday morning (it was super packed) we still found a table to sit at and were able to enjoy everything. We came back a couple of days later, but we missed the food (the kitchen closes at a specific time) so we ended up getting coffee to go. I'd put this place on my list of favorite coffee shops to eat at in PNW!

Various seating arrangements that was not crammed together and allowed for comfortable convo, reading, or for the laptop crowd. The front counter had visible posted menus, a pastry case, and various coffee roasts to choose from. The layout allowed for efficient customer flow for ordering, pickup, and takeout. Welcoming barista staff - no hipster attitude. There's also other merch available for purchase. Overhead music and interior aesthetic added to the pleasant environment.
