The baseball diamonds are well-maintained, and there's a half-court for basketball. Jungle gyms for the little ones, water fountains and clean restrooms all available. It's also a great park for just taking a walk. Parking is free but the lot is a bit small, so better to come early.

It's a perfect small to medium size park with a sizable kids playground and a handful of picnic tables that are first come first serve. I love that the Parking is right there And very easy to spot what I love the most is how there was disability parking easy to find and that the grassy Hill was not too difficult for my elderly relatives to walk up slowly with their walker, their cane and assisted with the wheelchair so it was good fun for everyone Multiple generations not too hot really good shade and something that could be enjoyed by the older crowd and little kids.

If you have a fuel efficient car, this place is pretty great but for those of us with SUV's, it makes us mourn the loss of all the gas we burn as we climb higher and higher up the hill. I will say, there are some spectacular views of downtown Los Angeles and even the beach on a really nice day. There's certainly no concern for traffic. Parking is adequate - meaning we never had trouble finding any. There are a bunch of shade trees on the one side and thankfully our daughter had her games close to the trees so we were well shaded. I wouldn't choose to make this a regular trek unless forced to, but not a bad spot for a baseball field.

We went to a fourth birthday party at Dunsmore Park and it was a great place to spend a Sunday…read moreafternoon with several small children. We took two of our own and we all had a lovely time. Parking was easy, in a lot right near the playground. There were a few parties going on but the park was small enough that we had no trouble finding the right one. The park was great, well kept and inviting. Even the bathroom wasn't bad--I generally avoid park bathrooms but had to attend Leo, and this one wasn't disgusting. The playground was nice and our four-year-old Leo B. enjoyed himself running around the play structure. I liked that the party was set up at tables close to the playground, so we didn't have to spend the whole party fighting our child's desire to run and climb. He also liked being at the party, especially when the piñata came out. Our toddler had a good time, too, and took a little nap in his stroller after a walk on the smooth concrete path winding through the park grounds. We live pretty far from La Crescenta, so we won't be spending too much time here, but I really liked Dunsmore Park. It worked well as a party venue and was just an all-around pleasant place for a weekend family outing. We'd make good use of it if we were in the neighborhood.

It's always clean and there is one outside restroom I use when I'm in the area…read more I have only seen a couple of dogs here since it's not really a dog park. Come here if your passing by but I'm not sure you would since nothing is around there. I've never checked in here but I've been here at least 50 times since I use to live a couple streets over.
