After trying many gelato shops in a short period of time (which means I can remember them very well), this place is still fighting for the number one spot on my list. Right now, it's tied with La Romana. I found this place on yelp when I was craving gelato one night and it's just a short walk down the street from where I'm staying. The interior looks very clean, white, bright, pristine, and aesthetically pleasing. I can appreciate that. They let me try more than one flavor, which is more than I can say for other stingy gelato places in Rome. I tried the cookie butter flavor and it was amazing. If you know what Trader Joe's crunchy cookie butter tastes like, this is exactly that in gelato form. I also got strawberry and pistachio the next time, which were both equally amazing. This is actually THE gelato place that turned me onto pistachio, I wasn't really into that flavor before. There aren't that many reviews and this place isn't talked about enough, but I definitely think it's worth checking out. I've tried the super popular, overhyped, gelato places in Rome, and I still come back to this one. The only downside really is the portion size, I get the medium which is 3 euros and it's like a small in other places, but I don't mind it because the gelato is truly worth it. read more
