I waited four months for my wallbed - an extra month due to some supposed flooding - and when Caesar arrived to install the bed for an extra $425, he did not have and refused to purchase an $18 stud finder to help locate a possible pipe inside the wall that he was terrified of hitting with a screw. I don't really understand how a wall screw can penetrate a copper pipe with no physical or auditory warning, but apparently Caesar doesn't trust his own instincts and the company employs nobody else with a higher level of skill. Apparently Caesar also doesn't know how to use a measuring tape to determine where a pipe could possibly be, as a simple measure from the corner of the wall to the showerhead on the opposite side would have solved this perplexing mystery. Instead of doing the right thing and figuring it out like a professional, screwing the bed in around the potential pipe area, or going to buy the stud finder to help him avoid the 1" pipe in the 6-foot wall, Caesar and the company demanded to take back the custom-made bed and refund my deposit, leaving me having wasted four months waiting for them, two hours arguing with a guy who is less capable than an average handyman, and with no wallbed after they guaranteed it would be installed today. If you are looking for professionalism, problem solving skills and the fundamental desire to make things right, you are simply not going to find those qualities here. I am dealing with dozens of companies getting my home back together after the fires, and I have not experienced this level of amateurism and blatant refusal to find an amicable solution. There is absolutely no reason the bed could not have been properly installed or that it had to be returned. The lack of common sense and logic is disturbing at best. Norma is nice, their products look good, and their prices are reasonable, but the likelihood you are actually going to get your bed on time and professionally installed seems to be zero - at least in my case. I cannot recommend Wallbeds n More and highly suggest you learn from my mistake and go elsewhere where they employ a competent installer - or two - who have the necessary skills and tools to do the job you paid them to do.

He is detail-oriented and skilled at what he does. We also had another closet that just needed to be re-balanced, and Erik fixed that like it was a piece of cake. He went above and beyond to make sure all of the drawers were straightened and drawer pulls were tightened in that closet as well. One was to set up a visit to discuss what I wanted. The other call was to let me know that the desktop was ready. And the final cause was to finalize pickup since I missed his call. I asked for a 70" wide custom desktop to go on top of IKEA Alex drawers. Sam got all the measurements and finish perfect. He also suggested rounding the edges which really helped with comfort of use and not hurting my forearms with sharp edges while working. I'm really glad I Robinsons Woodworking came through. I've been meaning to write my experience with Robinsons Woodworking for a while now…read more I had sent Sam a photo of a bathroom vanity I saw and liked as inspiration for my new bathroom remodel. Upon viewing it, he asked for dimensions and gave me a price. I gave the go ahead and left a deposit. A week or so went by and I called him and asked how it was going and if I could stop by and see it. I get there and he had the frame built out and it didn't look like the photo at all. I expressed my dissatisfaction and he then went over the details or my expectations better and he said he would raise it 6 inches to 36 inches as I am tall. He charged me $375 for this error of his and called it a prototype on the receipt. With the first cabinet not looking like the photo at all.... I was anticipating seeing the redo. I called and he was short/rude with me on the phone and later apologized. Fast forward to the vanity being pretty much completed minus the hardware. He was having an issue sourcing the slides for the drawers. They deliver the vanity.... and it's Sam and a helper. He has the vanity the wrong way in the hallway and trys to force it in the doorway, and damages the lower front moulding. He doesn't say anything, but puts forever soft putty on it that quickly comes out and the damage is prevalent. (Who does this with a custom and expensive piece?!) He says he will try something else.... Meanwhile, the two doors on the vanity are cut wrong.... Way too short so you see a big gap. He redoes the doors and now they're too large and hit with no way to adjust for the mis-measurement. The wood panel above the doors is twisting and has gaps..... It was just a bad experience on so many levels. I will never go back or recommend him. I should have just ordered something from China, but thought I would get a better product from the local guy. I spent over $2700, for crap. Oh on the last day he was at the house, all he cared about was getting his final check and had zero intention of taking care of the damaged vanity from his carelessness, and was done with it.

The bed did not arrive and we went to cancel the order, the general manager Bert stated that he would provide us with a loaner bed until the new bed arrived. Which he wanted me to take and offered a $ 500 discount, we didn't want the loaner it was damaged, we went back in the store as our aged parents could not get in and out of the bed. Bert was very nice and we selected a different bed which he said would be delivered in the next few weeks and they would pick up the loaner at that time. We still have the loaner no bed was delivered and now they ignore our calls and emails. They would not refund our money stating it was special delivery (the loaner was on the floor) and the bed that was going to be delivered they told us was in their warehouse. Slight of hand, they get your money and don't deliver on their promises. We have a special needs child, very difficult to go to their store 40 miles away from our home, yet we have gone numerous times to resolve this issue and each time we leave feeling we have resolved it, we only come to find out they don't follow through. It is now May and we still have the loaner bed, which we never used and is just sitting waiting to be picked up. Very sad we are a Christian family and want to believe in people but know the enemy lurks in many forms.

Our second choice could be delivered within 10 days. It was pricier, but more beefy; so it was a good thing we opted for the second choice. The employee (owner?), Jeff, was helpful, but not overbearing as some sales folk can be. The Murphy bed arrived within the time frame noted, in excellent condition and was quickly assembled by the delivery personnel. The two gentlemen gave us a refresher on how to open and close it up. If I have any real complaint it would be that it cost us an additional $200 to have it delivered. OUCH! We were told that local, in-county, was $150. I guess with the price of gasoline pushing $5 a gallon in our State, along with the high inflation kicking us all in the balls, it is what it is. If looking for a Murphy bed check this place out. They also had quite the assortment for smaller dining room and kitchenette sets, for those having smaller homes, apartments or condos.
