I have put this review off for quite a bit but every time I am cleaning and natural light is coming through the blinds, it reminds me how horrible the work was. I can still see where they patched and didnt sand. Had them come out twice to fix stuff. Finally gave up on that. They had to come out and fix the floor that they scratched. The way they installed the baseboards look horrible. They didn't cover the nails. What ever goes above the baseboard looks bad The carpet is lifting where it meets the floor. Not worth the extra money, time or stress. Better off hiring your own contractors. We did have some work done in the back yard. That looks great. And the office staff is great. read more

We had a "handyman" who did a very bad job on the electrical sockets in the kitchen - blew out the entire power in the entire kitchen area. There was water everywhere because the fridge went out. Broke the tile! (see the pic, that was the finished result!!) Put it on upside down too. $850 dollars later, we had to pay another service $950 to fix it. Nightmare! I am still angry about the Situation!! I was hoping when my Invoice hit someone's desk I would receive a call. Since that did Not happen I will get this off my chest on Yelp. The company told me a Drywall Specialist would be arriving on Friday between 1:30-2:30 to do a drywall repair and anchor a shelf back to the wall. The company said, "the first hour would be $165 and if it took longer, the second hour would be $110." Jose Coyt called asking if he could come earlier. I told him I was finishing getting dressed and he could come in fifteen minutes. The first thing I told him was I was going to pay him $275 so he did not have to rush. It is so Sad you Cannot be Nice to people. Looks like that said to him "I can Take Advantage of you." Never take Kindness as a sign of Weakness. He told me he was only here to give me an estimate for the job. That is why I only deal in Text. I showed him on my phone he was here to do the job. I Literally had to Argue with him to even get him to do the job. He said he had to go pick up the materials. Then he called me and said he had to Charge me for the Materials. I said, "You are raising the price?" He said that is their price Not mine. Then I asked him how much? He said around 20 or 30 dollars. I was expecting out of town guest, and I needed the job done that day so I said okay. Fast Forward, the printed Invoice from the company stated $165, but he gave me an Invoice for $324.34. The $49.34 he charged me for Materials were Not materials, but Supplies. With that $49.34 he brought a bag of Texture and used about two cups but charged me for the Entire bag. He also brought a Large Tub of Patching Spackle, Drop Cloth, Mixing Buckets, Sponge and no telling what else. I was watching him as he was opening things up. These are Supplies Drywall Specialists Always have On Hand because they are required to do their Jobs and is covered in the $165. It is Not my Responsibility to Buy him "Supplies" to use for other jobs. I even had to provide towels to cover the television while spraying the Texture. As much Help as I was giving him like carrying his Supplies and Tools from the garage to upstairs and back down to the garage, I should have gotten Paid for the Job. The only "Material" he brought for My job was "Anchor Bolts" costing around $5 if that. It is a Disgrace people have the need to take Advantage of a Retired 68-year-old-woman. We would Not be here if he had just taken the $275 Cash and walked away, but he had to get Greedy. He thinks he got away Clean. I am writing this to show him he Did Not! I sent this to them first. My husband and I decided to partially remodel 2 small bathrooms, so we acquired 4 quotes from local companies. Three of these quotes were ridiculously high and didn't even include construction materials such as quartz countertops, floor and shower tile, wall mirrors, plumbing fixtures, baseboard molding, and a shower door. We chose Handyman Unlimited because their quote was the most comprehensive and reasonably priced but note that the above materials were not included in their pricing. In addition, we had previously contracted them last year to perform exterior home repairs, all of which we were quite satisfied with. After experiencing several bid revisions in mid-February with Tom Cardona, who is the company president, we accepted Handyman's detailed bid with an approximate 60-day timeframe. The demolition began on March 27, 2023, in our GUEST bathroom. They installed new shower fixtures, quartz countertop, undermount sink and sink faucet, wall mirror, porcelain floor tile, baseboard molding, and toilet. All the work was finished by April 7, 2023. The MASTER bathroom demo began on April 10, 2023. Within the next week, the shower base was "hot mopped" then the 2 enclosure walls repaired and shower fixtures and drain installed. By April 19, 2023, the new quartz countertop, undermount sink, sink faucet, wall mirror, shower and base tile, floor tile and baseboards were installed. The custom shower door was ordered on April 28, 2023, which was installed on May 8, 2023, completing the remodel. NOTE: We kept the bathtub enclosure and shower door in the guest bath. We also kept the existing vanities and newer toilets in both bathrooms, and we did any painting that was needed. We also had picked out all the materials prior to the beginning of the remodel. Handyman then brought the items to our house when needed. My husband and I are very happy with the work done by all the contractors (plumber Tom, tile guys Eric and Ray and helpers), construction supervisor Ray Davis, president Tom Cardona, and office personnel. There was continued follow-up from Melissa and other office personnel regarding construction dates and progress payments required during the remodel. All exhibited excellent customer service. Handyman did work for my church and I liked the work and decided I wanted Handyman to do the remodel on my condo. I had a big job. New flooring, paint entire condo, quartz counter in kitchen, new sink, paint cupboards in kitchen, new shower, and new tub. Like I said a BIG job.
