This place is not what it used to be, I started coming in here when it first opened and the service was much better, a whole lot more friendly and appreciative . It was also much more price friendly, now it's rooms are in disrepair , walls peeling and all, toilets running and all, a whole lot of rowdy guests and no one seems to care . I will never come back after having stayed there probably 20 times at least. I will instead take my business elsewhere like the grand hotel Tijuana where the experience is worth every single penny . Don't come in here they only care about your money and don't care about you!!!

Communal soap dispenser in the bath room

The Hotel Ibis in Tijuana baja california must be some kind of sick joke. It fancies itself as a greener, earth friendly hotel, but it's not. 1. Bed sheets are not changed on a daily basis unless you ask for it 24 hours before check-in 2. No traditional soap and / or shampoo. They have large soap dispensers bt the sink and in the shower. Unhygienic. 3. The glass used for the walk-in shower was dirty. (Was not clean to conserve water?) 4. You're paying for a glorified broom closet. 5. Left room at 7:45 am returned at 4:00pm, I had to go to the front desk to get clean dry towels. The room has not been cleaned. 6. I could not control the temperature in the room. It was so cold, I had to go to the front desk to ask for a heater. 7. My buddy had to go down to the front desk and ask for a different room because the because the frist room had a noticeable dirty bedding. I have no idea if Hotel Ibis in Tijuana is really trying to leave a smaller green house foot print (hard to believe since its located in Tijuana) or they are just using that as an excuse to deliver inferior service to there guest. I do not blame the staff here, but the fault most likely falls on management and ownership. I, in good conscience, can not recommend this hotel.

I stayed here on a Friday I had 2 room 157 1 with 2 beds and the mattress has blood stain. And the second room was a 1 bed room 165 it was hot the air conditioner turn off every 20 min and this room is so hot ! Rooms are very small and beds are hard and the only bedding is 2 bed white sheets

This hotel recently opened in Tijuana, Zona Rio. The rate was approximately $50 per night - I believe it may have been an introductory rate. It took approximately 30 minutes to check in, key cards didn't work, room wasn't cleaned on a daily basis, cleaning staff would often forget to leave behind towels or cups, etc. The staff was very attentive and being that it recently opened, I can only assume the staff missed a few things here and there because they don't have a routine just yet. So, given some time, I assume the majority of these Issues will be corrected. The hotel is in a good area of town with easy access to major shopping areas and transportation. Parking is included (underground) but it's VERY small. Do not recommend for large vehicles. Pets are welcome with an additional fee of approximately $10 per night. Rooms are very small and amenities are minimal. Do no expect the treatment you get at a Marriott. There will be no coffee makers, shampoo/conditioner (bottles... there is an all in one dispenser), lotion, microwave, fridge, etc. There are no wash cloths, no pullout bed, no gym, no pool, no free bottled water. What you will receive is decent WiFi, clean rooms, tv, AC. For the amount of money paid, I would say it's a decent place to stay. Just don't expect the amenities of an American hotel.

They have you register your car and put a slip on your dash, so you know they're on top of parking. Our full size beds were clean, firm, with nice sheets and fresh pillows. Spacious room with lots of shelves. Air conditioner worked perfect! Huge window for our kitty to look out and entertain himself. Clean bathroom with a new, clean, modern shower stall, and strong water pressure. Very generous with towels. And ice - 2 machines next to the office. Vending machines and laundry room. Oh, and a clean mini fridge for just $5 extra! There's a Denny's restaurant just yards away - so inviting to go have breakfast at. Great coffee. The employees were all genuinely friendly and caring. The icing on top was the professional caring manager Ely! She sincerely cares that your stay at this Motel 6 was a great one . My boyfriend and I will definitely stay here next time we come to this part of San Diego.

Such an unprofessional establishment with incompetent staff!…read more My roommate booked us a room for the weekend since it's labor day and they cancelled our booking the day of. They kept saying they called my roommate but she did not receive a single call that day or the days before! Didn't even bother to try emailing or texting, pretty sure they were lying about contacting us. Called management and said there's nothing they can do. Such a waste, we could've been doing something else if they didn't waste our time. I asked for the days and times they said they attempted to contact us but apparently the phones are "too old to show history" HA. Didn't even have written or typed info of those attempts. They also emailed us a letter saying "change of plans" was the reason for cancellation. I thought it was us "not answering the calls"?? So now you're making it seem like it's our fault or that we really did cancel? The "manager" Kayla.? didn't even sound like she knew what she was doing. Kept stuttering and trying to think of a lie to feed us. When I ask for a higher manager number to call, she couldn't even spit it out in one go. Save yourself time and money, go someplace else!

My room was a bit small but cozy clean and with the most beautiful view of the street !! Service was A1. Bed and pillows were super super comfy. Kind of a small room the shower I thought I was going to slip and break my head open but luckily I did not !! They do have a private bar ( it is a little pricey ) but it's nice and comfortable and I loved the music they were playing. Decent price for 2 nights. Room has water and a coffee machine with coffee pods. I'm pretty picky when it comes to hotels and the beds. This place blew my mind and they offer you free parking a block away behind the Soriana which is secure and nothing happened to my car. I would most definitely stay here again

Drinks were good but a bit expensive.   If you are a couple who want to be in the downtown TJ area to experience nightlife, this might be the place for you.  However, the hotel doesn't have its own parking, as it is off-site, not oriented for families or those who have difficulties moving around or in need of ramps.

But hey it's a brothel hotel so we should already be expecting that. Compared to other brothel hotels I've been to around the world this one is very nice lol They have been trying to improve it though. They built newer rooms with nicer decorations and refrigerators, updated the restaurant Azul that's attached to it, and have comment cards for you to write comments and suggestions which I don't think anyone reads lol They make you give a $30 deposit if you get one of the newer rooms for the drinks that are in the refrigerator in case you drink any. Also a separate $10 deposit for the remote of the tv. The older rooms are shitty so sucks if you get stuck with one of those cause they have been being fully booked a lot recently. Another thing to note is that when you walk up without a reservation they almost always tell you they are sold out. It's always noisy too so don't think you're gonna get good night sleep here. Sound of high heels walking down the hallways at all hours of the night, drunk fuckers being loud and making noise while walking in the hallways as well. So it's hard to relax unless you're really far away but still then always someone making noises or moans from fucking. The walls are thin lol There are 2 entrances. One on the red light side where the street girls are and the one in the front main entrance for hk. You can exit hk on either side and go up with a girl so it's still convenient. If you wanna go up low key with a girl and not let the whole club see you then go out the back entrance. Less eyes and you won't be seen doing the walk of shame back into the club haha enjoy! Check out my review for hk for useful tips and pictures of the newer rooms.

P.S. I forgot to add that one day I was walking out and there was a mouse outside one of the rooms. ABSOLUTELY VILE!
