I would never recommend IBS-Techs and IBS-Business Phone Systems. They missed dates, shoddy installation and poor customer service

One reviewer commented his/her frustration about Verizon not fixing phones. From my understanding, I think what he/she doesn't realize is that big name stores like Verizon are not set up to fix phones (now?). They will only encourage you to replace what you have. I know that there is a Staples nearby and I believe that they can do some phone fixes. In bigger cities and suburbs, they have kiosks that will do more intensive fixes on cell phones. I'm not sure if they have such places in smaller towns. Probably depends on who is living in said smaller town. I haven't tried to specifically look in this particular area. Dealing with the constant changes, and not always positive changes, and figuring out this and that and helping others figure out this and that has been very stressful. The representatives here have been helpful and they work well as a team. In terms of expenses, it is frustrating to read about additional charges from another reviewer. I do think that overall, Verizon seems to have the most area coverage in this country but they also tend to be the most expensive overall too. The BJs Verizon location no longer exists now and some of those people have moved to other places and some of them ended up at this particular Verizon store, etc. A reviewer also states that someone did not know which stores were official retailers and I can personally say that it was that one person working there at that time. That has now changed.

We had the manager's name, but he was outright nasty and denied even speaking to Verizon on~line. Where is customer service? I only drove 50 miles to get here, only for more games. I wouldn't recommend coming here unless you are a masochistic fool who enjoys being treated like a piece of garbage. In fact, I wouldn't recommend Verizon period.

Wow, have to say I am utter shocked at the revIews here so far. I would suggest using neighbored tools like Nextdoor.com to bring awareness in areas that are accepting orders, it worked in our area. Sure, I get it, $100 is hard to part with for anybody, but I can say that after out neighbored topped 80%, things toppled over super quick. I signed up as interested in early 2017, and ordered service a year ago when they notified me they would be coming to our neighborhood. Then we heard almost nothing till July when the main fiber optic cable was buried. I was super curious nerd that I am so I went out and talked to them, they burry about 400 feet at a shot, then have to burry a tap box, splice the cables to a customer panel and test the loopS to make sure they are stable. For our relatively small neighborhood that took months, but they were out there working tirelessly every day! Only after the loop testing was done could they start working to tie in every house, and that took them till January this year to run our fiber from the street too the house, and the guy that came and installed the service to the house spent about 2hours doing his part. Freedom from Frontier and Spectrum was not won in a day, it's a long fight, but having competition is SOOO worth it... hey, proof is in the speedtest results right? Frontier: 6Mbps down / 768kbps up (paid for 15) Spectrum: 45Mbps down / 9Mbps up (paid for 100) Greenlight: 498.4Mbps down / 49.9Mbps up (paid for 500) At least Greenlight delivers what they advertise instead of trying to pass of an oversubscribed service that lets you down when you need it most.

DO NOT USE GREENLIGHT FIBER!…read more The advertised $50/month fiber service wasn't worth what we experienced. During what should have been a routine installation, the installers drilled through a water pipe and flooded our apartment. As water poured into our home, we were frantically trying to move our belongings and stop the flooding while the installers repeatedly told us, "It's not a problem," and "It's no big deal." To make matters worse, they laughed while this was happening. Whether they were laughing at the situation or something else, it was completely inappropriate given the damage being done to our home. We were left dealing with a flooded apartment, damaged belongings, concerns about mold, and the stress of cleaning up and working through the repair process. I understand that accidents can happen during construction or installation work. What I cannot understand is the lack of urgency, professionalism, and empathy shown during the incident. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Greenlight Fiber.
