This made me think about something a Winegardner employee said when I was in the dealership getting ready to buy my new vehicle: "Just spray it! ..... The gold Acadia out front!" Could they have known about the mark on the seat of my car before I bought it & were trying to cover it up? I took it back to the dealer & they agreed to fix it, saying it was a fault & actually ended up replacing the seat back (so they said!). Ok so far & they even gave me a free loan car. One week later, I noticed the black mark was back - same as before - all the way across the base of the back seat section. This being tan leather it really stands out! I called the dealer again & they said it would not be replaced a second time for free. SO, I decided never to go to Winegardner GMC ever again. However, a few months later my Acadia would not start at my house, so I called GMC Roadside Assistance. A sub-contractor was sent out, who said there was nothing he could do & it needed to be towed to my local GMC dealer! A recovery copany was then called, who came & took it to Winegardner GMC in Prince Frederick, MD. When the dealer called me to tell me it was there I also took the opportunity to ask the dealer again if they would fix the mark on the driver's seat. I was told they would call me back with an answer; when they did they said they would not fix the seat. I asked why & was told it had been replaced once & was not a warranty fault. When I asked what was causing the black mark, I was told it could be "an item of clothing, maybe a leather belt!" I told them that was unacceptable - for me to have to not wear a certain item of clothing (black leather belt), to avoid the black mark getting worse! I have been wearing the same type of clothes/belts for many years & have NEVER had any black marks left on seats. This particular mark will not come out with any type of cleaning solution. I suggested the quality of the leather on teh Acadia was sub-par & that they should complain to GMC but to no avail. To add insult to injury, the reason my car would not start (they said) was because it was 'low on gas!) The gas gauge was not even on the 'low gas' warning level, so how could that have caused it not to start? On top of that, the Service Manager was extremely rude, short-tempered, unfriendly, uncaring & did I say RUDE? I am seriously thinking about trading in my Acadia for a Toyota or Nissan, as I have had excellent feedback from friends who drive those makes & good reviews of the respective local dealers.

The driver was super nice, managed to magically get her to restart but both he and his boss didn't want to leave me should anything happen again. He led me to the closest gas station where she died again waiting to turn in. The driver hooked her up, brought me to the pump. We decided to try fuel (despite there being no fuel light on and the gauge showing gas). After putting $20 in, she started running again- the driver checked the dash and THEN the light came on. Long story short, I have a faulty gauge or fuel sensor- but the customer service they provided was top notch! They truly care for their customers - and I immensely appreciated their willingness to stay with me and ensure I wasn't left stranded somewhere. Being new to the area I have no clue where anything is, so they even went as far as to recommend a diesel mechanic just in case. I'd highly recommend this company to anybody in their area if they find themselves in need. Hopefully I won't require their services again, but if I do I will gladly give them a call and my service. Jake was very helpful and communicative throughout the process. There was a slight issue for the rear window tint and they informed me why. I was out of town and could not come back for a touch up. Jake was so kind to offer to stop by and attempt a touch up before my early flight. In the end i went back when i returned from my trip and they re-did the rear window. Beware COX trailers in Brandywine: The short version. My…read moretrailer had been stolen and when I found it years later, needed many repairs so I could move it to Cincinnati where I live now. Cox trailers was the only company I could find in all of SOMD who did trailer repairs so I called JD and he gave me the number of his trusted tow truck company. Here are all the problems I then encountered with JD: 1- the tow truck company HE recommended was late to drop off the trailer and did a VERY poor job of securing the trailer on the flat bed. JD then told me how upset he was that he had accepted my trailer and that he wished he had never gotten involved. In my opinion, this was very rude and unprofessional of him. 2- He put me off for MONTHS on a quote. I dropped the trailer off in November and he didn't get the job completed until April. I repeatedly asked for a quote and did not receive one. Finally when my husband reached out, he got it to him the SAME day. 3- He lost his temper with me on the phone one time and said he was losing money on the job and again, wished he had never taken me on as a client. (He later apologized but again, rude and unprofessional) 4- He said all of my running lights were in working order, but when we turned the lights on driving back to Cinci, one was out. 5- Once back in Cinci, we needed a partition built and brought it to a highly recommended trailer repair business. He told me that JD had lied about my bearings being replaced because they were clearly rusted through and that the labor JD had charged me was THREE times the price. (He kept the rusted bearings for proof). So not only did he NOT replace the bearings, but he charged me triple the labor it should've taken.
