I have not been able to take any pictures because by the time I get the ice cream I have to eat it as fast as possible because it's already more than halfway melted. The first time I went, I got a twist with chocolate sprinkles. When they first handed me the ice cream, it had no sprinkles on it even though I was charged for sprinkles so I did say that they forgot the sprinkles and then they took the ice cream back to add the sprinkles. I am not sure if the person doing it doesn't know how to do it properly or it takes too long to do it by the time that they added the sprinkles that is when the ice cream was more than halfway melted. So it made a big mess trying to eat it without spilling it all over myself my shoes everything. My songot ice cream in a cup I don't remember the flavor that he got now but it wasn't a soft serve flavor. I decided to give them another chance thinking that maybe it was just a fluke. The second time I went I got a vanilla milkshake so not much of a mess could be made there. it wasn't OK milkshake nothing extraordinary and a little difficult to taste the vanilla. The place does get super busy so I'm not sure if that's why the staff is so short in their interaction with the customers or they just don't wanna be bothered I really am not sure I really wanted to like the place because it's such a cute location a it's right by the water, but I feel that they could do better.

It had been ten years since my last…read morevisit, and one of the greatest joys of returning was bringing my daughters to a place I loved growing up. We ordered my longtime favorite--the chocolate malt--along with a vanilla and a strawberry soft-serve in waffle cones. There is simply nothing like these cold, sweet treats on a hot summer day. After visiting and trying ice cream shops all along the East Coast during our vacation, Carl's still stands out as a true gem. The quality, tradition, and experience are every bit as special as I remembered. Thank you for continuing to create memories for generations of families.
