From walking to Ice Spot, I saw that they had a smaller shop across their current spot. Walking into Ice Spot, I was like wow there's no way this is just for boba tea and rolled ice cream. It's a huge space. The largest boba tea shop I've ever been in. They have plenty of seating but it doesn't fill up the space. I saw that they had self order kiosks but I had a question so I waited for someone to help. They have a "Order Here" sign so I know they also take orders in person. But everyone was busy. They saw me but it was another 5 minutes before someone could come over to me. I ordered with someone after my question was answered. I ordered one of the ice cream designs that they had on their picture menus. A chocolate blossom. When my order was ready, the ice cream wasn't rolled. It was just ice cream. One of my drinks came out wrong. The individual had added a cheese foam onto my order when I didn't specify for it. They did correct it after I pointed it out and made me a new one. Ice spot is located in the Bell Tower and their location just moved across the mall into a new space and I cant believe how much they've grown. Not only is the space very open but it is still busy! I love that they expanded their menu and now offer mochi donuts and small snacks. We've had their boba tea, ice rolls, and mochi donuts. You order your beverage, snack, ice cream at a self service kiosk and they then call your name when it's done. They offer mil tea, milk blended (kinda like if you took boba tea and trumped into a frapp), fruit teas and even rolled ice cream. I do wish that they had more topping flavors. They only have about two fruit popping boba flavors so if you like to be adventurous with you toppings you are kinda out of luck. Even with the lack of toppings it still has great boba tea. You walk up to the counter and if you are paying with card they have tablets for you to use. If you pay with cash, you'll get that communication from them. It's very neat to watch them mix it all together, smooth it out over the cold counter and then roll it up! I would say the amount spent is worth what you get. The cup filled me right up and had plenty of each ingredient throughout! Strawberries were fresh and they had made mine into a blossom. Came here tonight and it was pretty good. I a coconut mango ice cream which was good after it melted a bit. It is very hard to taste the ice cream once it's out of the table, it almost feels like your just biting into ice. But anyway it was a pretty good experience that's for sure. My wife customized her ice cream and the girl made it wrong and my wife asked her the way she wanted it and the girl didn't seem to like that she had to re do the ice cream. She went and spoke to her manager who came back and asked my wife what she would like and even added some other options while the staff wasn't happy about. Manager you get 5 stars for sure!!! Since I was in the area I figured I'd stop by to try out a new (to me) boba place. I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba & it was ready pretty quickly. I got mine made with whole milk but they have a few different base offerings. You have to give the drink a solid mix to get the syrup fully blended in. It had a caramel-like flavor so I thought it was a bit on the sweet side for my liking. I also would've enjoyed some more boba in it as well.
