I had a disappointing visit here before, but because it's the closest barbershop to my nephew, I decided to give them another opportunity. Unfortunately, nothing has improved. The biggest issue is their lack of communication and time management. We waited for several hours for a simple haircut, yet no one explained that walk-in customers would be waiting behind multiple appointments. Had someone informed us from the beginning, we would have appreciated the honesty and simply gone to another barbershop. Instead, we spent hours waiting without knowing what to expect. What stood out the most was the lack of concern for customers. There was no effort to provide updates, no apology for the extended wait, and no indication that our time mattered. Good customer service starts with communication, and that was completely missing during our visit. The condition of the shop was also disappointing. Hair was scattered across the floor throughout our time there, making the space feel untidy. A barbershop doesn't have to be perfect, but customers should expect a clean and well-maintained environment. The overall customer service also left a poor impression. Some of the barbers came across as dismissive and unapproachable rather than welcoming. A friendly attitude can make a long wait more tolerable, but unfortunately that wasn't our experience. After waiting for hours, the haircut itself did not meet expectations. It felt rushed and lacked the attention to detail I would expect after such a long wait. Leaving disappointed after investing so much time made the experience even more frustrating. I believe every business deserves a second chance, which is exactly why I came back. Sadly, my second visit was no better than the first. The same issues with communication, organization, cleanliness, customer service, and overall experience remain. This was my final visit, and I will never return. I cannot recommend Ice Out Barbershop based on my experiences. If you value your time, expect honest communication, appreciate a clean environment, and want professional customer service, I would strongly suggest looking elsewhere. Came here for the first time after spending at least an hour on Yelp trying to find which barber shop I should go to. I absolutely hate changing barbers but I have no choice since I just moved to Vegas. Ended up coming here because it was one of the very few ones open on a Sunday. Maybe if I picked one of those classic cuts like combover/pomp it wouldn't have been that bad. But I'm Asian and my hair type is different. I like to have a messy textured fauxhawk with the sides cut short. I asked him to keep the sides straight instead of fading so high and rounding the top out. He did at first, but it wasn't clean so I asked him to fix it a bit. I probably should have kept my mouth shut because it ended up being exactly what I didn't want: way too rounded on the sides. And he took off SO much off the top. It's no longer a fauxhawk of any sort- more like a crew cut. He also nicked me in a few spots when cleaning up with a razor blade. Tipped him $5 for a $25 cut because I was already like fk it I'm never coming back here again. read more

Went in today for a simple fade and the barber basically took all my hair off. When walking in we got no welcome, the barbers were practically silent the entire experience, and the one TV that was on kept repeating the same sports updates over and over and over and OVER. Also charged $30... I usually get my hair cut at "The Mane Barber shop" and will be sticking to them after trying this place out in a time crunch.... read more

If you don't make an appointment you will be waiting awhile but as I always say... Every barber in the spot is highly skilled and saught-after. People wait as long as it takes to get seated. I come for Russell. Russell is the man. He came from Figaro's on W Cheyenne and Durango, then the Mane Barbershop on S. Ft. Apache where you may have had to wait a bit for him since he is highly requested, but he's worth the wait. Any man that values looking sharp; looking their very best, knows that you wait for the best and don't settle for any barbershop. Iced Out is that place. I live in the Aliante area and there's no where in Vegas I wouldn't follow Russell to. With him you not only get great customer service but you get a great cut including hot towel service. I've been there when people got frustrated about the wait but the barber handled it in a professional manner. All the barbers seem to get along well. This is definitely a place to bring your kids. Their really good with kids. Any barber in the place will hook am up and make them look sharp! The shop is sharp, very clean, and well maintained. The atmosphere is positive and welcoming. Plenty of seats in the waiting area and very large screen TV's everywhere. They accept appointments and I would recommend you make one unless you have time to kill. This is a mostly typical, laid back barber shop providing neat, straight line cuts including straight razor shaves. Pros: There is potential for a gray cut here. I didn't have the best experience but without my cons listed below, it would have been a 4-5 star experience. They have a good idea on how to do most styles and gave good recommendations when the client was unsure what he wanted. They pay special attention to detail which is a big part of a barber shop - not just a clip and snip. Cons: They have a policy of not taking appointments. Given the detail they take, you may be sitting for a long time waiting to be seen. Plan for an hour or two - half of that waiting. They have 12 chairs and two barbers. I gathered from conversation that one employee left recently and the location is new but the wait times were too long. I watched at least 2 people leave after waiting too long. Payments via card are handled on an employee's phone and this day, there seemed to an issue with customers paying with cash. Something about not having change. The most frustrating part of my cut was that my barber was making a business call during my cut. He tried to use headphones with didn't work so he had to stop my cut to finish his call. This is unacceptable. Finally, I have light hair on light skin. I didn't notice at first but my beard lines are not equal on either side. One side was cut down lower. I assume my barber was distracted. I want to give 2 stars but I put the 3rd there because there's potential if they can get actually hire some people and not be forced to multitask. Hair cut and straight razor shave was $40. One last comment: the high pressure air hoses they use to blow hair off the customers are obnoxious. read more

I tip $40-$50 every time I come here. This last time they let someone skip me and tried to make me wait an extra half hour, even though I had an appointment set. I was late to get my kids because of it. Straight disrespectful. Not to mention they had a lady there that gave me one of the worst fades of my life. Chunks of my hair just not blended. This was the best barber I've been to in forever. I drive past the shop a few weeks ago and it reminded me of the barbershop from back home so thought I'd give it a try. After some bad experiences at three different barbershops here in the valley since I moved here, I was hopeful that Iced Out would be the one. I went online and made an appointment with TJ. I booked an appointment for a standard adult haircut. When I walked in the shop was immaculately clean, and everybody had a really positive positive energy about them. As immediately greeted by TJ, who didn't even have me wait, sat me down and started inquiring about myself what I was looking to have done. he's amazing. Long story being short TJ gave me the best haircut. I've had in 24 years. I finally found a barbershop that reminds me of Home. If you don't have one, they'll still take care of you because service here is pretty awesome. All of the barbers here are on point. I've had my hair cut by at least 4 barbers from here. My husband and son waited over 3 hours watching other walk in's go before them and left without a haircut because they didn't even have the ettiquite to say anything to them until my husband asked if they'd be able to get a cut, the guy said no. Been coming here for awhile and I'm always happy with the haircuts I get. But the store hours are unreliable. I get off work at 8am and show up to get a haircut anywhere from 9-10am store hours say they open at 9am. The last 3 times including right now as I write this at 10:40am they weren't open yet. Out of all the million times I've gone to hairdressers and barbershops for myself as I've had short hair with undercuts many times before, for my husband, also long hair with extensions. I've had blonde hair brown hair and every color. I have to say I've never ever walked out extremely happy and satisfied, and I've also never gotten exactly what I've asked for it. This was the first time that I walked out with all smiles, no regrets and I am so happy I have a barber and it happens to be the best in town! Leo was truly professional, he used his mirrors, he use multiple pieces to make this happen and took his time. I had no problem sitting there for 45 min because he turned me every way checked multiple times and kept me updated. I'll be seeing him every two weeks! My husband and son went here for the first time last Saturday as walk ins. Three hours and a game later they left and went to another barbershop in the area. They informed the guys when they walked in the didn't have an appointment but still witnessed them take other walk ins before them and the barbers take breaks and still no service. We wanted to patronize a seemingly good barbershop in our new neighborhood but this might be too much of a hassle. They should work on their customer service. read more

Just a life lesson. If someone doesn't have any hair, don't let them touch yours. Went in to get my beard trimmed and came out looking like I got Into a fight with a weed whacker. Said to take 1-2 inches off and clean it up. Came out with over 4-6 inches off, depending which side you looked at. Was extremely uneven and had to come home to touch it up. Still not sure what to do to make it look decent besides cut it off and start all over.
