This is my go to spot for a fresh and clean fade (which is hard to find sometimes, especially since I have a weird shaped head)but I've seen them do all kinds of styles. Friendly barbers and good conversation is always a bonus as well! There's a sign in sheet for walk-ins, but each barber also takes appointments once you've seen them at least once. This place needs to be advertised for how terrible it is. I called and made an appointment for my son yesterday and spoke to a guy named David who said to bring my son in today at 4 PM. My son came in at 3:50 PM and I announced his presence and he waited patiently... 5:30 PM rolls around and my son still has not been seen for his haircut and this guy named David is taking walk-ins before my son who has an appointment????? This review is based solely off of customer service and DOES NOT reflect their skill level. I would really love to give this place five stars because I had high hopes for them. However, since I never got past scheduling an appointment, I can't. I called yesterday afternoon to try and schedule an appointment for my boys. I was told that only 2 barbers were there and one was about to leave for the day. I was then instructed to call back after 7. No problem; I called last minute. It was about 7:30 when I looked at the contact info from my maps again and I noticed they close at 7. I didn't get upset because it could've been an honest mistake but I was a bit annoyed. I decided to wait and call back the next day (today). I called a few minutes ago and asked if I could get an appointment for my two boys. The person that answered said "with who?" I told him I've never been there before, so with anyone would be fine. He then proceeded to tell me they don't things that way around there. I'd have to know the name of someone in order to set an appointment. He told me to just come in and they'd take care of my boys. So then I asked if there would be a wait around 3:30 when my son would be arriving after school. He LITERALLY Got fresh with me and said, "I'm not a fortune teller. I can't tell you the future!" No you're not, but if your barbers run on appointments then you should have an idea. OMG. What a joke! I politely said thanks and hung up. My son was going to Uber there after school. I'm not going to have him go to a foreign place not knowing who to ask for or whether or not he'd even be seen by anyone. He's in high school and has homework. Sitting in a barbershop waiting is not being a good steward of his time. As a business owner myself, this is repulsive. I can't imagine how much money they lose consistently because of their attitudes and approach to business. It's beyond my comprehensions as to why any person in this industry doesn't use a scheduler such as "Schedulicity" to book appointments. These people are truly unprofessional and after reading responses from the owner on here, it's obvious this is how they "feed their families". So then why would you repeatedly turn business away as if you're eating as Kings and don't need money from the peasants aka customers. Yeah sorry (not sorry), there's no way I'm going to go there as a walk-in and have to wait 2-3 hours for a barber. I'm busy and respect other people's time and refuse to do business with anyone that doesn't respect mine as well. My advice to the owner: Try reevaluating the manner in which your business is run. Professionalism is an important part of running a successful business. You're apparently doing something right with a couple locations but the "garage/backyard cuts" mentality needs to go. I wanted to support you. Now someone else who DOES take appointments with first time customers has your business. It's really too bad because I know how to be a great customer. It's how I learned how to be a great business owner. I believe in sewing seeds into other businesses. Now my 200% tips have gone out the window to someone else. Unlike some people, whenever my usual barber is out of town or not available, I actually like trying new barbers and seeing different shops. During this visit I had an appointment with Tuff set up the day before. Asked for a combover fade - bald on the bottom with a hard part razored in. Tuff is definitely a barber who takes his time with his fades and pays attention to detail. After the cut, it included a blow dry and styling. He's only been cutting professionally for about a year or so but you would think he's been doing it for years and years. The shop itself is probably one of the cleanest ones I've been in and has a great set up for people who are waiting. Several tv's around the shop playing sports and has dope music playing throughout the shop. The only knock that I would have is that I payed a little more than I usually do. Styled cuts start at $25 while hard parts and other designs are an extra $2 or more. So I ended up paying $30 which included tip. I will say that with Tuff and his work ethic to his clients, it would be money well spent. Highly recommend Tuff if you want a buttersoft fade and would definitely come back again. read more

If i could give it NO stars i would!!! I stopped in today for a blend since i rock a short hairstyle. The guy Vegas, had stated to me that he was on his way out to the foodie festival in Henderson. Not a problem, bcz the barber next to him said he'd take care of me. Well Vegas left out and came back in and was chatting with the barber next to him and turned to me saying "Come Mama I'll go ahead and take care of you" well as soon as i sat in the chair he changed his mind bcz he said he was going to be late to the festival and he had just cleaned his clippers......WTF? SO RATCHET AND UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!!!!!! I looked at him and asked him was he for real? He thought it was funny and said he was pressed for time and was going to miss the festival. Listen i understand if you made plans to be somewhere, but once you say yes to a customer and they're in your chair....you need to be professional enough to put aside your personal plans and take care of the customer. Even his co-workers were stunned and shock at what he had just done. I don't know this brother, but get your shit straight and be professional......at all times and your customers first. Was actually parked next door and trying to get my puppy home. The daycare had forgotten I was picking up my 6mo pup tonight and so they werent picking up the phone and the front office was closed. I honked my car horn as a last resort about 3 times. I can only assume the guy who yelled across the parking lot at me and my wife is the owner of this In Da Cut place. Super rude. Not only that, when they finally do bring my pup out and I go to meet them at the door he leaves his place of business and menacingly walks over to try to jar the front LOCKED door open of the Doggy Day Care. Its 9pm and Im standing there by myself (my wife was walking back to the car) and he just lunges at the door Im standing right infront of. He doesnt say a word after it doesnt open and walks back into this In Da Cut shop. The girl handing us our pup was even startled a bit. We get in the car after loading up our pup and he continues jeering at us from right inside the window of the In Da Cut shop. Sad. But oh well, we got our boy home and hopefully the guy sees this review and realizes what a menace he was in an already stressful situation. Super unprofessional. read more

Best haircut of my life. I have been looking in the mirror all day. I got a fade and two on top. They take their time when they cut your hair unlike other places like Great Clips. Their is no cashier and you just give $20 plus tip to your barber. They can be packed so it's good to leave an appointment for the next day. We went their but it was packed and came back and they weren't that busy. I also like that the barbers talk to each other and it's never quiet in there.
