On the positive side Iceland Air has some of the best prices roundtrip Europe and flying through Reykjavik is a plus. The negatives are similar for all the discount carriers, cramped seating, lots of extra charges (like just to sit together, extra leg room, luggage), hard to qualify for miles. A better on time record than other international discount carriers, but we were delayed creating lots of consternation. Since delays are common, don't think that a two hour layover is enough, even connecting Iceland Air to Iceland Air. Food is good on the European legs, I especially like the Icelandic candy bars. They aren't very friendly to those of us who still read books, they want all lights out most of the trip. Poor selection of jazz and classical, but a good choice of Icelandic music besides Bjork. read more
