I was looking for Chinese Buffet and Yelp showed me this one. Drove past a Golden Corral, but stayed the course. I'm glad I did. The food was very fresh and snappy. Plenty of seafood options and traditional Chinese Buffet staples. Broccoli and chicken, beef and broccoli, coconut shrimp, seafood delight etc... You know , I just realized there were no Chinese green beans. Oh well. It all was delicious clean and staff was happy and friendly. Not very common at Chinese Buffet. So i came to this place for lunch last minute, and i will say for 7.50, eat all you want, I'm going to be here quite often. The environment is clean and bright and the food is hot and fresh. I appreciate that. The food was very good and fresh to the taste as well. The sushi was really good too! Nice and clean but nothing was fishy. I loved the Hibachi option as well. Winder is a pretty sketchy place.... I was in Winder while looking for food. I saw this place on yelp and it had 4.5 stars and it seemed good enough for me. I went to the place and ate and it turns out the food was actually really good. The service was pretty nice. The place itself seemed pretty clean(inside and outside.) Meh... okay. Just a couple of call outs. Went once for dinner and once for lunch. If you're going for crab legs dont waste your time. The picture on the front window shows beautiful crab legs, reality they put out 2 or 3 very small pieces and when they are gone they won't put anymore out for a loooonnngggg time. Not worth the wait. They also advertise 20% off between 2 and 5 PM. I walked in at 2:05, the ticket they printed shows 1:54. So I dont get 20% off. It's not about the 20% ( 20% of $7.50 isn't very much ), it's about integrity and honesty. Just my two cents. Food is okay. Service is okay. Not the worst, but definitely not a place to go out of your way to dine there. read more

I admit it, I was pleasantly surprised. I was just looking for a cheap Chinese buffet for lunch, and I stumbled upon a gem. The food is your basic Americanized Chinese food, but with some surprises thrown in. Their sushi is some of the best from a cheap buffet, and their hot food was constantly being rotated out and always hot. Their customer service is really the highlight though. My water never got less than half full, and everyone greeted me and wished me a good day when leaving. I'll be back if I'm in the area. read more

I love this place always have... food is always excellent but my issue wasn't the food my issue is that they are open for business and letting people come in without mask and you know as someone can walk in that's high risk and you see a lot of people walking in and out without mask is frightening.... no one really uses the hand sanitizer while getting food... so something has to change on that case... also they are not distancing people when they are getting seated... Everything was hot and fresh. They kept the food stocked and they were quick with picking up plates from the table.

When I'm lazy and don't want to cook for my family, we go to Ichiban Buffet. They have good dishes there and the taste is very authentic... the customer service is great as well. Definitely a place to go for a quick bite. read more

Great buffet. The food is fresh and hot. There is a nice variety including a ribeye steak roast the night we went. The Chinese food was tasty as was pretty much everything I ate. I did not like the buffalo wings that tasted like ginger (not my personal favorite), but others may like it. I loved the way they walk around with a wireless mic announcing what food needs to be replaced. I also really loved the ice cream choices for dessert. Especially the Twix ice cream bars. Every single time I have ordered here my order is wrong! Not once have they gotten it right!! You would think with special instructions the kitchen would read it!! Al drums does not mean mix type. Extra wet does not mean DRY!! The manger will fix it but it's still a pain to never have it right on the first try!!! read more

I checked this place out last week and have some suggestions-primarily if you want to attract those sushi lovers out there. First you need to label the sushi. I had no idea what was what. Please provide chopsticks. I found one pair and that was it. Please have some real wasabi! What you had out was some soupy horseradish sauce-not good. The sushi itself was OK-nothing special, but for the price, one is certainly not going to get top grade. There is a big selection of other foods to choose from. Everything I tasted was pretty decent. I cannot say enough good things about this buffet and its new ownership. I and my fiance live and work in the Philippines, and to be honest, we have low expectations of customer service because of our background. The current ownership of Ichiban is so on-point. They monitor the availability of dishes in real-time and make sure that all of the offerings are available. The waitstaff and cashier are just as efficient. We went to this buffet when we came back from Fort Yargo Park. It was an awesome experience here. It's neat, clean, and the waiters and waitresses were all very friendly. The food was fresh and delicious. I tried a couple of different soups there. Surprisingly tasty! Especially the spicy one with shrimp and hot pepper. Wow! I will try it next time. I also liked the beef stow there, very good. We ordered a pot of tea, it was soooooooo good! I think it's called Woo Long tea (I hope I pronounced it right), wonderful! The price is VERY reasonable. Nice nice clean place!!! Wonderful customer service. People working were so friendly and we loved that the bar was clean and refreshed even though it was not a busy night. We were there on Sunday at 5:30. The food and sushi were great quality. We gave a 4 only because there were a few less items than on some other buffets In Georgia. Although not huge, the food is good and the location clean. They keep food fresh by bringing out very little at a time, I guess they don't get too much traffic. They had cold crab legs, and didn't charge extra for them. They had sufficient choices at the Hibachi, but I did not like that you were not able to choose your own meats and seafood. For the price, I'd rather drive to Lawrenceville, but if you're in the area already, you won't be disappointed. read more

Their food was good and the sushi bar was great. The hostess , that seemed like she was manager or owner wasn't very pleasant. She took us to our seats and rudely asked us what we want to drink when we haven't even settled down into our seats. The waiters were very nice though, took care of us and kept our tables clean, the seafood there was great. But the hostess gave us our check and literally stared at us until we were uncomfortable and left. And it's not like we were there for a very long time. a little pricey for the quality. very few options for people who don't eat chicken or beef. the dessert cake squares are absolute garbage but the mini cheesecakes were pretty good. my meat-eater boyfriend and his friends loved it though. they have good roadhouse-style rolls. the sushi was okay but tasted like the pre-boxed stuff you get at kroger. it's pretty expensive so don't go unless you really like meat cause that's about all they have. they have a bit of american options for the groups with that one guy who's a picky eater and just tagged along for fun. read more
