We really like this buffet. The 4 of us never have issues finding something we really like. There are quite a mix of items and this time the star of the show for 3 of us was the fried catfish. It was really good. All of us enjoy the soup and the fact that 2 people REALLY like wonton soup which is not that common for some reason. I think the sushi is good for being on a buffet. I have had the hibachi in the past and it was good. My one ding on this trip was most items weren't that hot. We went for an early dinner and it seemed that the stuff was left over from lunch. We came on a Saturday night around 4:30 pm and it was already packed and by the time we left there was a huge line. The place is smaller than I imagined. The floors felt greasy like I could slip at any time. We got a table right next to the buffet by the crabs, big mistake. Be prepared to get bumped and people waiting right next to our table. It was so cramped and we kept bumping the table behind us. The tables were so close together. The service was really great though. If I could give this buffet zero stars, I would. Every item I sampled was not fresh. The general chicken, ice cream, cake, and a variety of fruits, etc. were spoiled and ironically displayed for purchase. The bathroom should have been out of service. It seems like the food items had been warmed up instead of being cooked fresh. Another time I went later in the evening. Though they were a couple of hours from closing, the items were very slowed with being replenished. Still, I have gone on a weekend and everything was excellent. I'm conclusion, the service, prices, and environment is very appetizing. However, I would be remiss if I didn't point out that the quality of food can range from excellent to mid depending on the time of day you are there. I actually was impressed with the Hibachi here as the flavor was very nice and this is the worst hibachi that there were actually decent sized shrimp with heads on still. The crawfish and fried crab were just amazing. They were super big and fresh and tasty. I really enjoyed the Cajun crawfish broil with the shrimp, potatoes, corn, and mussels. The flavor was very good. This place reminded me of Chow Thyme with a larger selection and fresher food. It was also a lot more crowded here. The sushi bar wasn't bad and was decently fresh. I really like the clans and mussels here. Even the sesame chicken was super tasty when it's hot and fresh. The fruits in the dessert bar wasn't bad and watermelon was very sweet. I had the ice cream from the machine and it was okay. Wish it was soft serve chocolate like back in the sweet tomatoes days. Waitress service was excellent as they were super fast in cleaning the tables and refill. They were also super friendly so definitely tip them well as they were busting their ass off. Currently our go to buffet for unlimited seafood and sushi! About a year old the establishment is located in a used to be Golden Coral. Still new and clean. Customer service is great. Hostests are always friendly and kind as well as wait staff. Sometimes a little language barrier but never without a smile. Food is always hot, fresh, and refilled in a timely manner. Crab legs do run out quickly but that's more so because of the people already waiting as soon as a fresh batch comes. My husband and a son are big seafoodies so they're always able to get there satisfaction here without us having to spend hundreds. Fruit bar is amazing. A few times we've been they had pink dragon fruit, which had me shook, starfruit, papaya, and other tropical fruits. Desert bar is also very nice.
