Great food and drinks! I've had a few different dishes and drinks and everything was great!

We weren't even supposed to be here. My husband and I were on a mission to pick up a burrito for my mother from the Chipotle next door. Naturally, Chipotle was running on "we'll get to it eventually" time, so with about 20 minutes to kill, we wandered into TinDrum. Best. Delay. Ever. My husband claimed he wasn't hungry--which, for anyone married to a Filipino, is the culinary equivalent of "I'm just looking" at Home Depot. The man always finds room for food...especially if rice is involved. We ordered two Crab N Cheese Spring Rolls, the Phuket Woon Sen, and the Shrimp Tempura over rice (because, obviously, rice was non-negotiable). Let me tell you...those spring rolls disappeared faster than our patience waiting on Chipotle. The Phuket Woon Sen was absolutely phenomenal. It was so freakin' hot that every bite felt like I was getting a complimentary steam facial while simultaneously questioning every life decision that led me to shovel it into my mouth at warp speed. I regret nothing. The Shrimp Tempura was crispy, flavorful, and paired perfectly with the rice. My husband--who normally has commentary on everything--went completely silent. Married people know that's either a problem...or the food is incredible. Thankfully, it was the latter. The restaurant itself reminded me of a much cleaner version of the food halls we visited in Singapore. Casual, inviting, and full of aromas that make you want to order one of everything. The only tiny "complaint"--and this is me really reaching--was that the dining room was pretty cold. But considering it's approximately 95 degrees outside at 8:00 p.m. in Georgia right now, I'm pretty sure they were just doing the Lord's work. Ironically, we went to the shopping center for Chipotle...and left talking about TinDrum. We'll absolutely be back. Next time, Chipotle can wait for us. read more

The food and selection are great! The service is good. The menu is extensive. But the prices are very high for the amount of food that they serve. I enjoyed it. But don't like to leave a restaurant hungry. read more

So I just stopped in to get, what I thought would be dinner with a friend to go... $68 worth. Check #54 if you're looking. Lettuce wrap enticed me to purchase so got home, made my plate, and obviously to my surprise, I'm pulling a black long hair out of my mouth. I realize when just 5 years ago, health inspections would cite you for not wearing a hair net, having ear and nose rings in while prepping food service items. But I guess that's out the window now. Looking at how new this place is versus the current rating of 3.6, I wasn't sure you could get too much lower. Amazing you open a new place up to suck at managing the food for. I will say the customer service is very good, but I'm paying for food quality. read more

Had lunch here today and it was great! This location is brand new, and I'm so happy to have one close to home! I've been to many around Atlanta, and this one is definitely up there as far as taste, freshness, and cleanliness! We always order the Firecracker cauliflower (even the kids love it), and it's always gone quickly. Nice and crispy and flavorful! The fruit teas were also done really nicely. Staff was friendly, and service was pretty quick. I love the umbrellas in the inside! Only thing I would add is the selection of Asian snacks. I couldn't find them, and then saw a couple items that looked like they were inside crates. But other than that, great experience! Happy to have you in Braselton! read more

I wasn't really sure what to expect upon visiting here, other than Asian food. The variety ended up surprising me. You order either from a tablet or with a cashier. They do bring the food to you. I will say the one thing that hurt them was how the food is brought out. They don't bring your whole table's food together. It comes out randomly. So 1 person has their meal, while others are waiting. They do need to get that under control because the wait between bringing out the meals can be lengthy. You can see other people at different tables getting theirs while you're still waiting. It's a little odd. The flavors are really good though. They can be spicy so pay attention to the ingredients when you order. I loved mine but someone who doesn't like spice wouldn't like it. read more

OMG! Where do I begin!! I've been waiting for this location to open for awhile. Came for Date Night and it didn't disappoint. You place your own order on a kiosk and it's an easy app experience. We were able to place our customized order and take a number to sit at our table. We got the Chicken Sandwich with the sauce on the side, 2 orders of the crab and cream cheese egg rolls, the sesame chicken bowl with no peppers with egg fried rice and a Lemonade. It didn't take long for a team member to start bringing out our order. Everything was DELICIOUS, HOT and FRESH. I couldn't eat the entire bowl bc it was A LOT of food so I took it home, yall it was still just as good two days later. I will most definitely be making this location my go to spot for a good, quick meal. read more

We decided to try the new Tin Drum closer to us in Braselton. Great customer service. I tried to order my food on the kiosk in the Restaurant, but it did not give me a choice to use my rewards points. So the manager deleted it and took my order on the register. He was able to finally help me and I am appreciative for it. The dining area was spacious enough for families and group seatings. Also noticed twosome table seating which seemed quite cozy and intimate. I ordered the build your own Boba Tea Black Tea Strawberry and Mango syrup. It was suppose to have strawberry popping pearls, but I got Mango popping pearls instead. I ordered my usual Orange Stir Fry. The chicken was cooked too long. The rice and veggies were cooked just right. I will give this location another try in 3 more months, as they become more experienced. read more

We've been here a few times now. Menu favorites have been the crab and cheese roll (it's like a crab Rangoon in spring roll style), pad Thai, and the TDAK grape refresher fizz drink. Placed a to go order of the Japanese Teriyaki fried rice with shrimp and 6 piece sesame wings. The rice was just okay, barely had any teriyaki sauce. The wings were downright horrible. They were oversized, cold, and had a weird taste to them. Like they had been precooked and sitting there for hours. So disappointing. When I lived in Alpharetta, (now in Buford) I would frequently go to the one near Roswell Rd and the food was always delicious. When I heard about this one opening up in Braselton, I got excited. Not sure if they were overwhelmed due to just opening or by all of the orders being received but I work too hard to spend money on mediocre food. read more

Ate dinner here couple days ago. First time eating at a Tin Drum. Service was really good, staff were friendly and great helping me to order since it was my first time. They also came around to my table often asking if i needed anything. The food was very tasty and they gave a fairly good amount of food for the price. My biggest complaint and some people might be ok with it, all drinks are served in a plastic bottle, they did have cups for water. But no fountain drinks or sweet tea. Disappointing to me for not having that. read more

Chinese Sesame chicken dinner had a slightly funny taste. I did delivery. Rice and meat should have totally be separated in the to go. Rice was hard and completely saturated with sauce. *Would not order this again. Pad Thai Noodles were very hot with Level 1. Good flavor though. Good chicken. I ordered the Chinese sesame stir fry with chicken and salmon to go, they gave me two one inch pieces of salmon, and the rest was rice and broccoli. 15$ for two 1 inch pieces of salmon and rice is a joke. If you're going there cause you're hungry, don't. Only head there if you want a full bowl of rice and to sample test your choice of protein. read more

First time - I ordered on-line to-go, and picked it up - no problems with the process. Restaurant is clean and bright, welcoming and the staff was very friendly. The food: Excellent taste and texture, freshly made, great flavor - much better than most other chain Asian restaurants - my favorite is P. F. Chang's and Tin Drum came very close in flavor and taste, but less in portion size. It is a bit expensive when you look at what you get for the price (I don't mind paying more for good food and service). HUGE amount of rice to small portion of meat, which is disappointing. To get a variety, I ordered 5 appetizers, and 2 main dishes, $80 total. The green beans and cauliflower were great, but half the amount you get at P. F. Chang's for about the same price. Chicken lettuce wraps were fine, the potstickers are 3 in an order but obviously are less expensive than P.F.Chang's 6 per order - very tasty. The spring roll was tiny - about half the width and 2/3ds the length of a standard spring roll. The two entrees were the Japanese Tempura Shrimp (don't order this to go, because it got soggy by the time I got home), and the Korean Ribeye Angus Bulgogi, which was fantastic. Since we normally do not consume all of the rice (and I end up using it up by making my own fried rice later), I still have about 3-4 cups worth left over, and some green beans, cauliflower, and a bit of chicken and beef - probably enough for another dinner for 2, with lots of rice! All in all, we loved the food, but were disappointed with the portions of the non-rice items. read more

Food was good let me say that upfront. Ordering, they have two kiosks which is the mistake they need four in my opinion for busier times like a Friday night which is when we went. Food comes out in random order which is another mistake. It should all come out at the same time or reasonably close. In our case a entree came out and no drinks and then it was over 30 minutes for one entree when others in our party had food ten minutes earlier. We will go back but not on a Friday night and hope things improve. read more

Huge servings and tasty food! We have eaten there twice, once as takeout and the other in the restaurant. Pleased both times!
