Absolutely horrible experience sitting down in the restaurant. Before ordering it was asked if I could order one meal for me and my children to eat together and was told no. Then we each ordered our individual meals and nothing extra and got charged $10 than the original price because it's up to the employee to decide how much is too much food left on your plate. Anyone with children do not go unless you're positive they can eat a full meal until they are miserable. The meal really wasn't worth being miserable for. Please avoid of at all possible. read more

It doesn't look like much from the outside but it's a hidden gem. We drive an hour each way to eat here at least once a month. They have a really good sushi chef. The crab Rangoon is awesome. Take some of their shrimp boil home with you. Get it ichiban style and extra spicy. Won't be disappointed. read more

One of our go-to restaurants when we're in Tupelo. You get a lot of good food for a low price- usually my husband and I can both eat for under 25 dollars. The sushi is surprisingly good. When you walk in to the place it doesn't look like the sort of restaurant that would have decent sushi, but it's quite good, if a little messy presentation wise. I like the yakatori chicken, or the plain udon with veggies. As far as sushi goes, everything I've tried has been delicious, but I like a classic california roll. My only complaint- the tables are sticky and it doesn't wash off. read more

This was the first sushi restaurant in Tupelo, and is certainly the best. Anytime I'm in town, I make it a point to stop by. I always order the veggie potstickers, and asparagus rolls with no mayonnaise. They are closed inbetween lunch and dinner as well as Sundays. The family that owns it is super friendly. If you like "Japanese Ponderosa" style restaurant, this may fit your expectations, I order "Don Katsu" Japanese fried pork chop and it come chopped into 1/2" cubes, dry and hard, fried rice was ok, the one star is for the service was good and they do serve Japanese beer !!! read more

Friendly staff. Great value for Great flavor. I had the chicken teriyaki, fried rice with crab rangoon and ginger dressing salad. My order was to go. Make sure you ask for everything you need, otherwise you will not get it. Forks Napkins etc. Don't let old aged environment discourage you. The only downside to my dinner was my salad was place in the same container with the chicken and rice. The salad got warm and soggy. Can't wait to try another dish! read more

This restaurant was amazing! They recently went through some management change and or remodeling and now the restaurant is just like every other Japanese grill just like Mt. Fugi. It used to have shrimp sauce that I always enjoyed to eat with my crispy shrimp roll. Now they have yum yum sauce just like Mt. Fugi. In other words this is not the same restaurant that it used to be. It is not the calm quite restaurant with subtle details that it used to be. It is now a loud bustling miniature Mt. Fugi. With no uniqueness what so ever that this great restaurant used to have. I do not want to come back until some changes have been made. Hopefully there will be. You shouldn't have fixed something that wasn't broken! This is a review on the restaurant and changes made to the restaurant by higher level people. The waiters were great and very helpful in helping us figure out what we were looking at on the new menu. He also helped us pick something similar to what I used to get that I absolutely loved! read more
