Upset that I won't be eating Takumi Ramen Bar anymore. It had been one of our favorites. After eating there once and biting into a piece of steel wool used for cleaning, we decided to overlook it (hey at least that means they wash their dishes right?). The sweet waitress who was taking care of us apologized bc the manager wouldn't come out. Fast forward after eating there several times I went again today. I ordered and the waitress came back and said "you were here last time and you didn't pay your bill". I assure her that I had been there several times and always paid my bill. She continued to repeat this as I'm surrounded by other customers now watching. She stated it was me bc I ordered the same thing. I paid whoever's bill was still open, canceled my order and I won't be back. For a $20 bill they lost my family as customers. read more

Met a co-worker for late lunch and the service is incredibly fast! I ordered edamame and veggie fried rice with tofu. I had water and a dragon fruit tea. Everything was very good! That's always a win. The food itself was very good -- flavorful, filling, and exactly what I needed at the time. A couple of dishes we tried are as follows: Fried Chicken Bun - so fresh and soft Pork Dumpling - hummm hummm good Tokyo Tonkotsu Ramen- so tasty and filling Takumi Fried Rice - it was so good; however, I wish I would have ordered it without the bacon because personally I'm finicky when it comes to the way I like my bacon cooked. So, it is a me problem and not them. But, I ate it anyway and it was delicious. Edamame - no one (I hope) can mess us this. Spring Roll - saved this one for last. They were absolutely amazing. I wish I would have gotten another order to go; cooked to perfection. It was cute to have of course to have them deliver the food by robot. I was extremely excited when I heard that a ramen shop was opening in Tupelo, and they did not disappoint!! The inside is the shop is cozy, clean, and very cute. The staff is extremely friendly and are good at providing information on their dishes as well as recommending their favorites! My group had the char siu pork bun, the fried chicken bun, edamame, Tokyo tonkotsu ramen, volcano ramen, seafood ramen, and vegetable stir fried ramen. Everything was absolutely delicious!! All of the soup ramens had very silky and well seasoned broth, and the stir fried ramen had a good flavor as well even without the broth. The char siu was melty and the fried chicken was crispy. I HIGHLY recommend the buns if you're looking for an appetizer!! Your food also comes to you on an adorable little cat robot, which is a quirky and fun touch. The only negative was they were out of ramen eggs when we went, but they've been very busy since they opened so we can't really blame them for that! Clean modern interior, the food delivery robot is adorable, and it's great to go on your own or with friends and family. The food itself? Delicious! The waitress was sweet and recommended the spicy miso ramen (which is my go to at ramen shops. Wanted to try and branch out, but it looked too good to resist.) the noodles were bouncy, the broth was spicy but not too spicy just a bowl of flavorful goodness. 10/10 would recommend. I'd love to try some of their appetizers too! Now, to keep it 100% I wanted to give this place 5 stars so bad, but the primary reason I had to take a star off? The boba. I've had some of the best boba around both in Mississippi (Shout out Snow and Boba in Ocean Springs) and in other states. The drink itself tasted OK enough. But the experience of the actual boba pearls? They were flavorless and undercooked and reminded me way too much of why I didn't like boba when I first tried it. The best crab rangoon wontons I've found in years!!! Has the perfect blend of crab, cream cheese and green onions. The sauce that comes with it is very flavorful as well. The fried pork dumplings and sauce was great too! We also got a side of fried ramen with chicken and it was plenty to share! Well, where do I start? I have wanted to go to an authentic noodle restaurant for a while now and finally got to go. We had Ally as our server and she was very pleasant and courteous and had a wonderful attitude. Thank you Ally. I had the volcano beef ramen and I was thoroughly impressed. The broth was very tasty and comforting. It was a stick to your tongue kind of beef broth and it was deep and rich with flavor. My wife had the chicken ramen with the vegetable broth. She included some chili oil which made it better. She was very pleased with the bowl. My niece had the chicken fried ramen. She didn't eat all of it but will finish today I am sure. The sticky buns were something new to me and I liked it. We had the crab Rangoon and fried dumplings for appetizers. I really liked them both. Very tasty and the sauces were perfect. The serving size was impressive. You definitely get your money's worth. The atmosphere was pleasing and the little server robot was neat. We will definitely be back again.
