She got a roll and I got two (salmon and sunset). Both were good! I wouldn't order the sunset roll again as the black pepper tuna was a little spicy for me, but the quality of everything was great. The salmon quality was awesome-- much better than usual smoked salmon. The fish was in big chunks and had a buttery texture. My only complaint is that the menu description was wrong and it said the salmon roll came with cream cheese (I know that's usually a Philadelphia roll, but that one had no description and the salmon roll said cream cheese, so i went with it.) Their spicy mayo was great! Prices were "normal" for sushi. Food was ready quickly. read more

I wish I could give half stars... rounding up from 3.5. Visited on a Thursday evening. They seemed a little short staffed considering their small dining area was full and had a steady flow of dine-in guests as well as a very busy takeout flow. Service wasn't very attentive. It was a cold/snowy evening and because of the constant stream of takeout orders the temperature inside the small space was either very hot or very cold. The food was good, though! We had the spicy kani salad, edamame, and four rolls. All were fresh and tasted good. This seems like a solid spot for takeout but not a place I make the trip to dine-in for. read more

Standard or basic sushi, it wasn't bad but it wasn't mind blowing either. I guess expected for the area. The service was not great, the server never came back to check on us. Have eaten here a few times now and each time is consistent and good. The pricing is right for the amount of food you get and the quality is great! I have had the Hibachi Lunch and Dinner portions and they are different which is nice. The sushi is fresh and the togo packaging is sturdy to eat on the go... This is such a hidden gem. My husband and I love coming here, the people are so nice and attentive. The food is fantastic, some of the best in the area. Just moved to the area and was looking for a good sushi place! Stumbled across this restaurant and first appearance it doesn't have a wow factor, but the food makes up for that! I ordered the signature roll and it was beautiful in presentation and the flavor was out of this world! The fried tofu, not so much. Pretty plain. I thought it may have been stir fried with a chili sauce like I've had elsewhere, but forgot to clarify. No qualms about it, this place provides some of the tastiest and freshest sushi around. I highly recommend the "Signature Roll", "Tempura Kani Roll", but especially the "Las Vegas Roll". My wife usually gets their "Rainbow Roll" or their various Sashimi, which she swears by. It's a little higher price-wise, but I assure you, you get exactly what you pay for. read more

Must try: Jalapeño roll Eel roll Udon noodles Hawaiian roll Menu somewhat less than competitors but still solid sushi roll variety and well executed. They could benefit from a beer / liquor license. Drink options including nonalcoholic beverages were limited. The green tea was solid and was a satchel bag. Small clean quaint interior. Friendly staff. Food was a relatively slow coming out. The udon noodles are a stellar kid friendly option. Some of my wife's favorite noodles she's had in Ohio Perhaps we got lucky, or perhaps they have a good source, but the fish was surprisingly fresh. Writing this review as I eat my food from here. I seriously could not wait to write a review for this place. This is a newly open restaurant located close to downtown Cuyahoga Falls. Decided to try it out since it was new and reviews looked really promising. I ordered a salmon roll and a shrimp tempura dinner bento box. The salmon roll was standard expectations. It really was the bento box that blew me away! The bento box contains a California roll, 3 fried shumai, 3 tempura battered veggies and 6 shrimp tempura. In addition, the bento box dinner comes with your choice of soup and rice. The shrimp tempura was so flakey and crispy. The shumai had this salty, flavorful sauce brushed on it. Hard to explain. Everything else was amazing as well. I wish it was a bottomless bento box. Highly recommend! The staff were also very kind and friendly. As far as COVID guidelines, they are not offering dine in services. It's either pick up or delivery. Only one person can be in the restaurant at a time to pay and pickup the food. I strongly suggest ordering ahead of time. If you do place an order in person the have chairs outside for you to sit while you wait. read more

This was our first time trying this restaurant. You cannot eat inside, so it's carry out only. The tempura shrimp roll and green mountain roll were delicious. I ordered a mango avocado roll and the fresh mango was very under ripe. It was crunchy and inedible. We also got a seaweed salad. A few bites into the seaweed salad, I saw that the bottom of the container was lined with a thick layer of yellowed iceberg lettuce. For the price of the salad, I felt that I'd rather just get less product than be deceived. We were satisfied with some parts of our meal, but it could be better. read more

For a while, it looked like Ichiban might never open, but I was so glad to be proven wrong. I don't eat sushi as much as I'd like to, due mainly to a lack of good options. Ichiban will likely be a regular takeout spot, and I look forward to working my way through the menu. My boyfriend and I had a date night at home, and we split several things: -the shumai. These were nice and light dumplings. -California roll. It tasted fine, but it's boring. No fault of the restaurant; they executed it well. My bf insisted we order this. Otherwise it wouldn't have been my choice. -Spicy Lover's Roll. I've never had soybean wrap before, and it was so tasty! I would have liked a little more spicy tuna in this, but I'm being nitpicky because it was just terrific. -Dragon Roll. I'm not sure I've ever had eel in a roll, and I also enjoyed this. There was just enough sauce but not so much that it was drowning in it. The creamy avocado played off the eel nicely. I'll absolutely return; I do wish the specialty rolls featured more true raw rolls and fewer ones loaded with tempura. As much as I like fried stuff, I'd like to try more true raw sushi. Next time, I think I'll get some a la carte items and maybe some sashimi. This is a great addition to the Falls and was worth the wait! read more

I was so excited about this place when they opened. Their hibachi takeout is delicious, along with their sushi rolls. I have a shellfish allergy, so my options are a little limited on the rolls but everything has always tastes fresh. They deliver as well and they have always been UNDER their estimated time.
