When I visited, there was no line at 5pm on a Saturday so service was quick and staff let me know the pancakes would take ~15 min which was accurate. Came here after having delicious ramen next door! This is definitely the sweet treat you NEED to complete your meal experience! There is street parking but it is free. The staff were quiet but polite. We were not greeted right away and stood around awkwardly until someone walked over to take our order. The souffle had an "eggy" smell to it, and while I ate it, I wasn't too sure if the souffle was cooked all the way. The souffle did lack flavors and was pretty bland, and presentation could have been better. The mango on the side was a bit sour as well as the sauce--tasted a bit unfresh. First and foremost do not come here unless you have an extra thirty minutes to wait for your food and you're okay with standing. We stopped in for Japanese pancakes and crepes and it took forever and a half to get our food. Things eventually came out one by one. We would get one pancake order, eat it, and then awkwardly hold our dish until another dish would come out about 15 minutes later. I don't think this shop is equipped to handle the number of people that are coming. 20ish minutes for one order of pancakes was a lot, since I came in a group of 5 we didn't have a chance to enjoy our food together- instead we ate one by one. I will say the pancakes and the crepes were very good. We tried all three flavors that they had and the mmmm. Fresh ingredients really helped take the pancakes and crepes to the next level. I've been here twice and my temptation to return is high! There are some caveats to pay attention to & things they could improve on, but I totally like it here. They have a menu of savory and sweet crepes; I've always been a fan of crepes filled with meat & cheese & sauce, but this is the first time I've had them spun up into a cone shape and made into a utensil-free experience. I like eating them that way! It's a little messy but I'd tolerate way messier food situations. They are kind of hot, though, these savory crepe concoctions that you hold in your hand. I think they should consider reinforcing the bit that you hold, somehow. I've had the sesame chicken and the ham & cheese crepes and I loved them both. I also had the strawberry custard crepe and loved it just as much. I got it with that mochi thing, that unusual nob of oddly holdable ice cream that I want more of in my life. So good, the whole thing. I didn't see any napkins anywhere. There should be napkin dispensers all over the place up in there! Also, I got one of those bottles of Japanese soda which I don't recommend. Getting the soda out of the bottle is such a challenge that I feel like the butt of someone's joke. I paid like $2.50 for it and it just went in a garbage can. So avoid those, but come here for crepes! B l a n d: this word sums up everything we tried. We ordered the matcha Mille crepe ($6.50?) and a tiramisu crepe ($7.50). The matcha Mille crepe was tasteless. I could barely taste any sugar in the cream nor any matcha even though the top layer was covered with it. The cream tasted very low sugar and seeing from pictures, it's store bought and not made in house. It does have a very slight after taste. I like sugar, but even my fiancé thought it was really bland - I'm used to {insert famous Mille crepe/cake shop}. The tiramisu crepe was heavy. I needed to remove some of the mascarpone from the top because it was toooo thick. The cake they put inside was bad - tasted again something bought at a store prepackaged and not good. The fudge seeped out from the bottom so I'm glad I ate it in store even though it did fall on my pants anyways. I would not order this again. Staff was ultra sweet though, just unfortunate I didn't enjoy the crepes. It may not be my taste but does seem like lots of others enjoy it. If you like your desserts on the low sugar side, this would be a great option. The store is extremely small and only has one large wooden table. You can eat in briefly if someone isn't already sitting down. There is plexiglass and the staff wear masks. read more

The presentation was absolutely beautiful on the crepes, but the soufflé pancake was flat unlike the real soufflé pancakes that's supposed to be more high rise. The nutty berry crepe had way too much whipped cream filling and not that much strawberries and the tiramisu was very heavy and felt like a mascarpone overload. I decided to check this place out on my way home from Minneapolis. It was a little tricky to find. My GPS told me I'd arrived, but I didn't see it. I liked the exposed brick wall. We ordered the Tiramasu Crepe with Mochi ice cream. I'd never had Mochi ice cream - it's sticky rice on the outside and ice cream in the middle. I prefer just regular ice cream but enjoyed discovering something new. It was fun watching my crepe being made but did take a few minutes to build. There may be a long wait on a busy day. I'm not the world's biggest fan of crepes so I have to have an AMAZING one to really enjoy it. I'd say this was good, but not amazing. I couldn't really taste the "tiramisu" flavor. It's about $8 for the crepe and an additional $2 for mochi...so It's a little spendy for a treat...but I'd say it's worth trying! I ordered a scoop of cookies and cream ice cream for my son. He LOVED it and I thought the ice cream was delicious, too. It's $4.33 for one scoop - so that's a little on the high price, but definitely tasty. We got a tip from a friend about this place from a friend who raved about how good they were. We took the trip to North Minneapolis to their pop up at Corner Cafe and are so glad we did! Hours later I'm still thinking about the delicate taste of the matcha crêpe I had filled will sweet red bean paste. To us, it felt like you couldn't go wrong with any of the crepes that were available. The fruit ones we got had fresh fruit, hot and crispy crepe (which was a little sweet), the chocolate sauce added more tasty sweetness; and finally, the cornflakes were a nice touch of crunchy texture. We really liked what we got, reasonable pricing; we did wait a while, as there was a bit of a line (which we were okay with waiting).
