A little overpriced for what it is on especially their dinner items (22 for falafel platter). The turmeric chai was good albeit a tad bit watery. I have had better and worse. Would say actual glass plates would be nice or non styrofoam as the crepe was hot enough to slightly melt my plate. It was a bit unbecoming. The service is a bit on the slow side and not exactly the most polite ether. For a quick grab and go bite it was what I needed in the morning. The ambiance to put it lightly is cramped. Our group enjoyed the crêpes are wraps that we ordered. I had a tuna, which was pretty good. It would've been nice if there were some lettuce and tomato also in the wrap. my friend got the mushroom which had good veggies included and she really enjoyed . There was a delicious garlic sauce that they served with the savory wraps . Another friend chose the peanut butter chocolate and fruit crêpe and she thought it was delicious as well. The place is small and claustrophobic so we chose to eat out in the hotel area where they had tables. The service is a little on the slow side, but the food was delicious! This was an amazing meal, which I did not expect from a place in the mall. I had an amazing and healthy portabella mushroom crepe that came with a side of fresh cut potato fries. It was honestly 5-star food. Will eat here again! OK first of all the crêpes are to die for. But unfortunately I can't give a five star review because it takes F O R E V E R and the service leaves a lot to be desired. They definitely need to hire some employees. I think it's just a husband and wife team, those are the only two people I've ever seen working. The fact that it's in a hotel means you can't just go grab a quick lunch here. If there's a line, plan to wait an hour or more. I think this place would be better if they would acknowledge you when you got in line and let you know about how long it will be before they can take your order. There needs to be someone taking orders and someone doing the cooking. When I went today, the husband was in back doing something the whole time instead of helping wait on customers, so it was just the wife doing the cooking and order taking. She did not acknowledge me or anyone in line until she was done making the crêpes and coffee for the person ahead of me. Once she took my order, it was about 25 minutes before it was done. All in all I waited probably 40 minutes total. BUT like I said, at the beginning of my review, the crepes are to die for and worth the wait, especially if you are staying in the hotel, because the food and the service in the hotel restaurant is terrible. We always get the lox and cream cheese. This time I thought there was too much cream cheese, and not enough lox, especially at the price point they sell them for ($14). But we will definitely be back every year when we stay in this hotel, just don't be in a hurry when we go. read more

The food, service, and ambiance here are all great, but I'm giving them a 3 instead for 2 big reasons: 1. Finding parking and finding the restaurant is not easy (it's on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt Regency and can access through the skyway, but took some searching even knowing that information). 2. The very small size creates a bit of a wait for food, there is very limited seating in the actual cute restaurant (basic seating available outside in the hotel), and they are not very environmentally friendly! Even though we had our lunch there, everything (plates, silverware, cups, etc.) was plastic/paper. I got the turmeric chai latte and the Greek style crepe. They were both delicious - there's nothing like a fresh made crepe. Even though it was a lot of food (I got the normal size, not for 2), I didn't feel guilty for eating it all since it was loaded with veggies (sliced baked eggplant, olives, baked zucchini, carrots, and onion.) I am so happy we found this place! Thanks YELP! It was tucked away inside a hotel building-- which made it difficult to find-- but totally worth it! They are never open when I want to grab a coffee, like during regular business hours. They HATE people who attend conventions at the Hyatt. It's super unwelcoming and sad. The staff definitely do not want to be there and shoo people away with a grimace on their face. They use a chair to block off their cafe and shut the lights off with one staff member always just hiding in the back. read more

I love to support local shops. I always stop in here when my kids are playing baseball at Skippy field. They have great coffee and espresso. They offer fresh ethnic baked goods and crepes. On a revent stop I had a tripple espresso and a pasty filled with eggpllant and feta, it was glorious! The staff is very nice and friendly. They have live music and DJs some of the time. I got a chocolate chip muffin and it had maybe 4 chocolate chips on the inside and was super dry. I was not impressed and would not go back. A gem of a place worth discovering, the kind of cozy, pleasant little restaurant you'd expect to find in Paris or New York tucked away on the second level of the Marriott. Parked on the street, easily found a meter I believe it was fifty cents for an hour which was nice. Entered hotel and was directed to elevator, found Vitali's on second level. Wonderful ambiance, mouth watering fares (and between falafel and hummus and tabouli was all plant based which was appreciated, they also have plenty of other meat options.) Saw a Yelp review by Nir H. to order a falafel wrap with portobello and a Greek salad with green sauce.... wow, what a great combination! Seriously, complimenting flavors. Four of us ate at Vitali's Bistro on a Saturday night, and I can't say enough good things about the food, but our perception of the food might have been influenced by our state of near-starvation by the time the food arrived about 40 minutes after ordering it. To be fair, Vitali's had just begun offering live music on Saturday nights, and clearly did not expect the crowds that came with it. Every seat was full, and they even brought out folding tables and wiped the snow off the outdoor furniture to squeeze more seats inside. But all the seats and staff in the world can't speed up the preparation of the food, especially for something like crepes that need to be made one at a time, to order. That said, the food really was delicious. The salmon vegetable crepe was the agreed-on favorite, but the paninis and pizza were excellent too. Vitali's is a kosher restaurant, but it's one of the rare kosher restaurants that is completely worthy of the business of kosher and non-kosher diners alike. Fantastic neighborhood gem. The food is high quality and has a great Israeli vibe. I feel like I should be looking out the window at the Mediterranean, not at St. Louis Park City Hall. And the people who work here are very nice. I'm not kosher, but I AM a nice Jewish girl and a semi-vegetarian, and I really appreciate this place. But even if you're neither of those things, you need to try this place out because the food is like nothing else around. (The food is milchik kosher-- which means dairy and fish, but no meat.) What to get: you can't go wrong with the crepes. I've tried a few, but the lox and cream cheese is amazing. The sweet ones are all good too. The crepes may seem a little pricey, but they're quite large. One is more than enough for a meal. I've yet to try the sandwiches on the menu or the falafel plate, but iI can't wait to try them. I also LOVE the avocado salad! This comes with what appears to be at least one ripe, beautiful avocado, onions, tomato, and a sweet-tangy sauce that pulls it all together. I could seriously just eat a bowl of that for dinner. There's a bunch of other salads on the menu that look intruging (like a Korean salad) and I will have to try these when i can tear myself away from the avocado salad. Let's get to the food now, I'm assuming this place isn't known for there seafood but seriously if you charge $11 for a fish sandwich that was slightly better then a Burger King fish sandwich you probably shouldn't be serving it at your restaurant. Went here for breakfast while traveling, and had the breakfast burrito. My burrito was piping hot, well cooked, fresh, and attractively arranged on my plate. The owner actually works right at the counter, and even introduced himself, and his wife and son, who happened to be stopping by. This place has an alluring and international decor, with retro posters of exotic locals, seeming to be travel advertisements from the 20's and 30's. There is delightful international music softly playing in the background, as well as a children's play area, a great children's menu, and I understand that at night, Vitali plays concerts. If you haven't been to Vitali's Bistro (5101 Minnetonka Blvd, St. Louis Park) then you've been missing out on a GREAT little restaurant. I've driven by it a couple of times and often told my wife we're going to try it, but I'll admit that we were both a little scared away by the term "kosher." We grew up in Iowa where nothing is kosher (except for the dill pickles that you buy at the grocery store) and weren't really sure what to expect. Well, turns out that "kosher" was just a way of preparing their food and it had no effect on the taste of anything. This place is the bomb. There isn't a huge menu, but it does suffice as a "bistro" and covers all three meals of the day including dessert (plus ice cream) and coffee. I have heard that their Blini (crepes) are out of this world good but didn't try any on my first trip there. Since there will most definitely be other trips, we'll be sure to sample those later. They have pizza, salads, soups and sandwiches and you can even get breakfast there. Bagels, omelets, breakfast burritos and authentic Hebrew lox (salmon smear for your bagels). Never had it but I will try it one day. I have very little experience with falafels and decided to go ahead and sample the Falafel platter at Vitali's. These are the best I've had so far. There might be better ones out there, but these are very good. Served with Israel salad (similar to a Greek salad), hummus, tahini and pita bread. This is really a filling portion. The coffee drinks are nice and strong as they should be! The staff is friendly and helpful and did a great job of making us feel welcome at their restaurant. The place is clean and is decorated to make their guests feel warm. There really isn't much that I don't like about this place. The prices are also decent. We really liked Vitali's Bistro and give it full recommendation. Give them a shot! read more

It is worth your money - the food is healthy especially the Israeli salad and red lentil soups and green smoothies -i'm a sucker for their crepes.
