    Scallion Pancake
    Jaime N.

Girlfriend brought me here, food was great, we had the Scallion Pancakes and Pork Gyoza with Scallions and both were delicious, although I felt for the price of $8 the portion of the Pancakes could've been a little bigger. The Ichimi ramen we got it with beef and the house made noodles, broth was great, it was rich and creamy and the portion on the ramen actually surprised me I ended up taking most of it home since I couldn't finish it all, and the all of the toppings were amazing as well. The Sake personally was not something we'd probably order again but I'm sure for those who love sake you might enjoy this one considering I'm not the kind to usually get Sake when I go out. Now the service on the other hand was a little on the lacking side, we came an hour and a half before closing and as soon as we were sat we were rushed multiple times to place our order even though I had made it clear that I was waiting on my girlfriend to come back from the bathroom to order. The ambiance of the place is nice and quiet for the most part, the interior is decorated really nice and it has a very upscale vibe to it.

Having been here before and had a great time, this trip was so lacklustre and disappointing in comparison! We were a table of four around 4:30-5pm (early dinner after a long travel day). The restaurant was quite empty, maybe two other tables that already ordered and were finishing up their meals. Three of the servers were simply chatting at the bar area and it was so hard to catch their attention to place our order. We waited for them to come over 15-20 minutes and when we did catch their eyes, there was no acknowledgement. Are you going to come to our table? And the answer was not because they went to our adjacent table instead to bring them the machine to pay. The kitchen staff saw us trying to flag the servers and didn't do much either. They were just watching us. Another staff was at the table counters packing takeout orders, kinda saw us trying to get someone's attention and then just went back to using their phone. After we were able to actually order, the food came out fast and was fine.

Yum yum yum yum! Delicious food, fast service and cute ramen dishes. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and polite. The ramen was yummy and the chicken and rice bowl was filling ! The serving sizes are very nice and the prices are even better.

We were looking for dinner on a Sunday evening near the Downtown Miami/Midtown area and saw Ichimi come up in my search results and food and reviews looked really good and we wanted to check it out! Ichimi is located in the Shops at Midtown Miami (near the Homegoods). I would recommend parking in the Shops at Midtown Garage (near Target), take the elevator down and you're about a block or two from Ichimi. When you enter Ichimi you are greeted by a server and shown to your table, we didn't have to wait for a table but we also arrived around 7 PM and it started getting a little busier the longer we were there. We ordered a bottle of wine to start for $32. The bottles of wine weren't any more than $45. They also had non-alcoholic drink options along with beer and sake. For appetizers, we ordered edamame ($8.50) and Gyoza ($9.95). All appetizers came up really quick and were fresh and flavorful, and plenty for two people to share. For entrees, we ordered the Ichimi Ramen with Pork ($16.50) and the ramen was very flavorful and fresh and a really great quality! Food and service were all outstanding and we were very happy with our meal! We look forward to returning the next time we are in the area.

Delicious!! Super quick and good service. The restaurant is clean and well taken care of. I ordered the tonkatshu ramen with pork. To share, we got the edemame, duck, and green onion pancakes. Everything was soo good. Will definitely return!!

I LOVE Ichimi!!! It's a super cute little ramen spot. I love the spicy miso ramen. I've dined in once, but mostly walk over with my dog and grab takeout. The employees are always very friendly and it takes less than 5 mins for my order most of the time. The only thing I really want them to start making is kimchee!!! I'd also love if they started carrying beech and enoki mushrooms, because that would be the perfect miso ramen and I'd legit go there every day. Overall super place, love it. If you love ramen, you'll love it too!

I ordered the spicy miso ramen with tofu. It satisfied the craving, but I found the broth lacking a bit of depth and complexity. A decent option for a casual meal, though not particularly standout.

This location I liked better than the one at the Gables when it comes to flavor or taste of the ramen which is what I went there for. However the service was not that great. Two young women who barely checked on our table and had to get their attention to ask for things we needed and it was only two tables they had to tend to. The kitchen was fast but the servers weren't attentive at all.

Really great tasting and quality ramen. Unfortunately, the bao appetizer was a bit dry and brings the rating down to four stars.

    Shrimp Gyoza
    Ronald S.

This was my first time trying Ramen and I must say it was a really good alternative to burgers or pizza. The shrimp Gyoza was my favorite. It's basically a dumpling. The ponzu sauce made it a thousand times better. I had the spicy Miso Ramen. I added some chili oil and some chili powder. The pork belly bao buns were good but my least favorite. The pork was really tender and the cucumber gave it a nice crunch. I definitely would recommend this spot to anyone in the miami area looking a nice ramen restaurant. The staff was welcoming and genuine & the lighting was appropriate.

    Spicy miso ramen with wontons

I've been meaning to try this place for a while and I'm glad I finally did. The space is comfortable but nothing fancy. Service is quick and friendly. The menu is pretty straightforward but there's a lot of options to customize your ramen if you want to make changes. I chose to start with the wakame which was fresh and delicious. The spicy miso ramen was excellent. It was more of the spice flavor than actually spice but good nonetheless. I probably would try a different protein than the wontons next time but they were still good. I thought that the broth overall had less of a salty flavor than other ramen places without losing a rich flavor. The portion size was perfect. I would definitely come back here again for another meal.

My family aka the Zhou clan went on a trip to MIA and one of the first orders of business is to scratch our ramen itch. When looking for a ramen place, we came across Ichimi - a homey ramen restaurant in the middle of a shopping district in Miami. We parked at paid street parking and walked a few steps over to the restaurant. We were warmly greeted upon entering the restaurant and received excellent service all throughout the evening. The waitress was fast in taking our orders and delivering the food. We tried the Ichimi Ramen and the Spicy Miso Ramen, both had a thick, creamy, and delicious broth with an egg and pork chop slices as their complimentary proteins. My husband could not eat too spicy so we ordered less spicy for the Spicy Miso Ramen and the waitress was willing to adjust the spiciness. The ramen was comparable to but a slight tier down from well-known ramen joints like Ippudo and Ramen Nagi. The food filled our bellied and satisfied our souls after a long day of traveling!

Rating: 5.0 Been a…read morehuge fan of the Iron Chef show since I was a kid and my favorite has aways been the Japanese Chef Masaharu Morimoto! And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.

All of the sudden the 107 in the name made sense. I asked if that location was the 'OG', and they confirmed it was and hence the seemingly random name. Service was good. There's a mix of regular folks and students (both servers and dining), which ensures pricing remains reasonable in order to cater to student budgets. I found pricing to be the same at both locations. I ordered the same Mama Pork Fried rice with an extra of shrimp, and I have to say, it was just as delicious as the Gables restaurant. I went again just yesterday, and food was just as delicious. I can't bring myself to order any other dish because it's so delicious. Dish flavor, look and texture are consistent too, not just within the same restaurant, but at least across those two locations I've visited, and I've attended twice to both locations ordering the same fried rice - it is always 'identically delicious'. I tried my friend's dishes, and they were all good, and while they wouldn't be my choice, they were all yummy. Their dishes tend to be a bit on the gooey side, but I love that, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant. The ambience is basic, but definitely a more elevated look than that of your typical Chinese restaurant. I highly recommend

I'll start with a positive: I actually really liked the anime-themed decor. It's unique, fun, and definitely adds personality to the space. Unfortunately, that's where the positives ended. The customer service wasn't great. It felt inattentive and unwelcoming, which immediately set the tone for the meal. We ordered two servings of crab rangoon, and I was honestly shocked at both the price and the quality. To put it simply it was the worst crab rangoon I've ever had. They tasted like they were deep-fried in old oil, with that heavy, stale aftertaste. They didn't seem fresh at all more like something pulled from a freezer and quickly dropped into the fryer. When I opened them up, there was barely any filling besides cream cheese. I couldn't find any actual crab inside, which was really disappointing, especially considering how much they charged for them. I was genuinely sad about how much money we spent on those two orders, only to be completely let down. I love supporting unique, themed spots and the anime vibe really had potential but unfortunately, the food quality and service just didn't meet expectations. I hope they improve because the concept itself is cute.

Dan Dan noodles had so much flavor, chili beef dumplings were thick and juicy, and the pork and shrimp dumplings were cooked perfectly. However when my fiance asked for a check all we got was one of the handheld devices with the total. I thought it was strange when the server said tipping was optional after the tap, and the options were 1%, 3%, and 5%. Since the food and service were great, I wanted to tip 15%, so I changed it to a custom value and did my own math. However when I got my printed receipt, there was a 20% service fee, plus my custom tip of 15%. Being from LA, when restaurants have the mandatory service fee, they usually tell you at the host stand or after you just sat down. I felt like this place was shady although it is in their fine print on their menu. What the server could have done is said "service fee is already included," after the tap, not "tipping is optional." I did like the service, but the 35% tip was not well deserved. I didn't feel like they went above and beyond and like I said, there's a special type of mannerism that I feel was a huge miss about the service fee, which could of been handled more professionally.
