We came here to celebrate a family birthday and had a wonderful experience. We ordered the Octopus Takoyaki, Blue Crab Rangoon, and Chicken Steamed Dumplings for appetizers , followed by Cantonese Mei Fun (one chicken and one steak) and Pad Thai noodles. Everything was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. As a nice surprise, we were offered complimentary Thai donuts for leaving a Google review, which was a thoughtful touch. Most importantly, our waiter, Sergio, was outstanding--he took the time to explain the menu, made great recommendations, and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and seemed very clean. We truly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be coming back for future occasions.

First of all, came here with my daughter and noticed that the restaurant itself is small but beautiful. There are not many tables but the ambiance is great. The servers were so attentive and fast with everything. The food came out excellent and fresh, the only thing that was a little bit surprising is that my Cheesy Noodles on Fire were not actually spicy or hot in flavor. Keep in mind that if you get this, it's also full of vegetables such as sliced red peppers so this dish is not just noodles and protein. I tried adding some red pepper flakes and it helped a little bit but not much. Overall great experience, hope to be back soon here!

If you love Thai food, 107 Taste is a must-try. I've been to both the 107th Ave and South Miami locations, and every single time, the food is fresh, flavorful, and consistent. Whether I'm eating in (the service is great by the way, it's a lively spot with good ambiance) or getting delivery, 107 Taste is fantastic! I love their Pad Thai--the noodles are always cooked perfectly, the sauce has just the right balance, and even without peanuts (not a fan), it's still packed with flavor. The Pineapple Gu Lao Chicken was crispy, slightly sweet, with just a little kick of spice. It was very good! The fried rice was good, not my favorite, but if you like fried rice with pineapples you should consider it for sure. 107 Taste is consistent, delicious, and always satisfying. Definitely worth checking out!

I ordered the Tonkotsu Ramen with Braised Pork Belly. Personally I didn't really like the broth, it tasted quite different from other tonkotsu broths I've had in the past and it was a bit too salty for my liking. However, I liked the other aspects and they gave quite a bit of pork belly. Overall it was a good portion, I left quite full. Staff were very kind and very attentive. The inside is quaint and has plenty of seating.

Loved this place!!! The food and service was great! We came here for lunch after my niece and nephew graduation. It was six of us and we had appetizers, mains and dessert. It has something for everyone. I really liked the avocado rolls and hot and spicy wings. My main dish was the Black Pepper Sauce Udon noodles and my choice of protein was shrimp. I loved my dish and the sauce had a nice kick with the black pepper plus the shrimp is jumbo. All the portion sizes were great and food was flavorful. Dessert was good too because everything was pretty light but sweet. I would definitely recommend trying this location if you're in the area.

Yeni and Jonathan were absolutely amazing. They took great care of us and had some great recommendations. I even got a free dessert for my birthday, which was so sweet. The crab Rangoon were honestly the best I've ever had, and the steamed gyozas were excellent. The shrimp pepper Udon was delicious! My man said the Dan Dan udon was an 8/10. After many years later from our first visit, we popped in at 107 Taste recently and was surprised by the many changes it had undergone since it first opened. The ambiance and decor had been elevated and was modern and cute. Waiters were friendly and overall service was good. We had several different ramen / noodle entrees (Shoyu, Tonkatsu and Szechuan ) as well as the takoyaki appetizer, and found everything generally to be good. They were quite busy, with mostly FIU families and students.

We ordered the general 107 and the donburi... sooooo good. The chicken in the general 107 bowl was flavorful and lightly crispy. Our waiter, Sergio, was attentive and kind. Definitely would come back!

Ordered takeout from here and it was delish. I had beef pad Thai, mild spice and it was so good. One of the best pad Thai I've had. My bf and his buddie had ramen. Miso ramen and tonkatsu. Both were amazing. My bf was obsessed with his miso ramen. We also had spicy garlic edamame, a lil too oily but great flavors. So I got acquainted with the 107 Taste family chain of restaurants a couple of months ago by visiting their Gables location. A month ago I wanted to go again and remembered that there was more than one location. Came to find out one closer to me situated across FIU on 107th ave. All of the sudden the 107 in the name made sense. I asked if that location was the 'OG', and they confirmed it was and hence the seemingly random name. Service was good. There's a mix of regular folks and students (both servers and dining), which ensures pricing remains reasonable in order to cater to student budgets. I found pricing to be the same at both locations. I ordered the same Mama Pork Fried rice with an extra of shrimp, and I have to say, it was just as delicious as the Gables restaurant. I went again just yesterday, and food was just as delicious. I can't bring myself to order any other dish because it's so delicious. Dish flavor, look and texture are consistent too, not just within the same restaurant, but at least across those two locations I've visited, and I've attended twice to both locations ordering the same fried rice - it is always 'identically delicious'. I tried my friend's dishes, and they were all good, and while they wouldn't be my choice, they were all yummy. Their dishes tend to be a bit on the gooey side, but I love that, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I found my new favorite Chinese restaurant. Had a nice meal here, food quality was above average, and this location stays open about an hour later than most. Menu is a little limited, they do not do sushi. It's mainly rice and noodle dishes. I feel that vegetarians will be rather limited. Vegans may suffer worse. Very good service and cleanliness make this a good pick for anyone looking for Pan Asian food. read more

107 is absolutely incredible! I love the food here. When I go I always get the gyoza, pork belly buns (so freaking amazing), pad Thai, a bowl of ramen typically the tonkotsu ramen with pork belly. Everything is very large so we tend to share. I normally go to the FIU location, I know they have a few more locations now. The service is always great here, the staff is friendly, the food comes out quick and it's always great. I love the esthetics, the painting on the walls, the comfy tables, I just over all love this place. I would 100% recommend. read more

Ordered take out and the employee who answered the phone was really nice. I ordered the glass noodles with streak and 4pc garlic honey wings. It was ready in 15 minutes and when I got there to pick it up I was helped immediatly. The food was super super hot even driving 15 minutes later. My kids are your biggest customers! Between Ubereats and visiting the restaurant, they eat here at least once or twice a week! The gyoza appetizers are very tasty and the Thai donuts hit that sweet spot! Good Asian fusion restaurant next to FIU. Good for student in the university with option of Asian food. The menu has Japanese, korean, Chinese and their east meet west cuisine. We started with kimchi pork belly wrap. This is a taco skin with pork belly. The flavor is very good. I recommend this dish. The second app is the Takoyaki- a Japanese squid ball. Squid meat is good amount. The third app is avocado crab spring roll. This is Mex Chinese combo cuisine. Highly recommended. The fourth app is the snow cheese wing. This is another combo cuisine. The improvement is tasty. Our main dish is the black pepper yaki udon. This udon noodle with option chicken protein is filling. The second dish mama pork fried rice. This is braised pork with fried rice. Love it. The final dish is the Donburi with chicken. It also comes with sunny side up egg. I've been to this restaurant a few times, and each time, it has been delicious. We've had the avocado crab spring rolls and pork gyoza as appetizers, and they were both fantastic. I ordered the Singapore rice noodles, and my friend ordered the pad Thai; both were also delicious. The service was great, and the ambience was amazing. My friends and family suggested we come here for lunch. I had no idea we had such a great place close by. Sandy was our server, she was very attentive, gave great suggestions and was very sweet. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! We started with the spicy garlic edamame and the snowy cheese wings. Then I had the general chicken 107, the rest of the group had pork belly, ramen bowls and the pineapple fried rice. We finished with cheesecake, coconut cake and nutella cake. Our experience at 107 Taste was exceptional. We had the Takoyaki, the Honey Galic Wings, and for our main, we had Tonkotsu Ramen. Everything was 10/10 delicious. Finally got out with some coworkers for lunch on Wednesday. We were deciding between the Poke Bowl and 107 Taste and decided here. The ambiance is always so nice here and they have expanded a few times for more space to have more sit in dining. When I come I order the same pineapple fried rice with shrimp and a bubble tea. It must have been a minute because they changed a few things. For one, the bubble tea was now served from a can in only brown sugar or taro. I chose brown sugar. I was curious about it having tapioca balls in it but it didn't come out until the last pour, and I'm glad it didn't since it was disgusting. Not very fresh which of course is not possible from a can. Then the fried rice was super crunchy and at first I thought it was shells from the shrimp. It turned out that the rice was fried hard into crunchy balls as clumps throughout, but the shrimp was also somewhat breaded and didn't taste good. Overall the recipe was not the same. The waitress overheard me and took the feedback to the chef who offered to make me something new, but there was nothing else I care for on the menu and we were on our short lunch break. I was able to get the crunchy pieces out and left the shrimp to the side and ate what I could so I wouldn't go back to work hungry. I appreciated the efforts of course. But not sure when I'll return since it was something I could count on as a delicious dish in the past and I was a little disappointed. read more

Definitely enjoyed my experience coming here. Service was quick and the people working here are really friendly and accommodating! Love the modern ambiance of the restaurant. The food is also spot on. I got the pineapple fried rice and the portion size was really generous! They did not skimp on the chicken or the rice. Established in 2016.

107 Taste was established by Chef Yu. After Yu received her Hospitality Management bachelor degree in China, she went to continue study in Master Degree in Florida International University (FIU) and received her Master Degree in Hospitality Management in 2011. The first 107 Taste was open in 2016, in Westchester, FL on 107the Ave (this is how the name "107 Taste" come from!), right across FIU main campus. Since then, Yu had been working even harder because she wants to bring the gourmet food to more people in south FL! The second location of 107 Taste was open at Miami Lakes in 2019, and the third location will be open in Plantation, in 2020. The menus at 107 Taste are carefully prepared with unique trendy Asian food and traditional Asian flavors. Guest service is our top priority and our company core value is: "Be a host!"

Meet the Business Owner: Yu B.

Chef Yu was raised by her grandparents in a small village in northwestern China. Her grandmother worked as a Chef for more than 20 years, and her grandfather's family used to own a local famous wonton restaurant in Szechuan, China back in 1930s. Her entire childhood memories are full of grandparents' care, and she grew up with unbeatable grandmother's love meal. Due to her grandparents' impact, little Yu started learning and cooking meals for herself and for the family at the age of 8 not only because she is interested in food, but also because she has passion about cooking good food for families and friends. After Yu received her bachelor degree in China, she went to continue study in Hospitality Management in Florida International University (FIU) and received her Master Degree in Hospitality Management in 2011. Then, she opened her first 107 Taste restaurant in 2016 to bring the delicious Asian fusion dishes to SW Miami.

Since the food and service were great, I wanted to tip 15%, so I changed it to a custom value and did my own math. However when I got my printed receipt, there was a 20% service fee, plus my custom tip of 15%. Being from LA, when restaurants have the mandatory service fee, they usually tell you at the host stand or after you just sat down. I felt like this place was shady although it is in their fine print on their menu. What the server could have done is said "service fee is already included," after the tap, not "tipping is optional." I did like the service, but the 35% tip was not well deserved. I didn't feel like they went above and beyond and like I said, there's a special type of mannerism that I feel was a huge miss about the service fee, which could of been handled more professionally.

But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. Ok, to start off. My older sister goes to college here, and when my family was visiting her we decided to go to this place with her. We ordered the Zombie Plant cake. It was AMAZING. I don't remember what we ordered next, but I think it was Boba. The service was amazing, but it took a bit long, but it makes up because the food also tastes amazing. The decor in this place was so amazing, it was definitely instagram-able. The walls were the best, because they had a mural of some sorts of a boy and girl enjoying some noodles. I have one suggestion. Add some vegetarian options for the ramen, like the broth. Me and my family are muslim (and my sister), and we can't eat meat unless it's slaughtered in a different way (if we don't know people qualified in the religion tell us not to eat it, and this can include broths, but we are allowed to eat fish, no pork, and no blood from the animal). It was a bit of a shock when they told us they didn't have any vegetarian/fist broth (I recommend adding like a miso or tofu broth). But, the menu was so big, and we could've gotten a lot more things, so props for that. Anyways, this restaurant is PERFECT, but they should add like a Halal menu with the same things as the regular menu, or most of the meat items in the menu have a halal version. **UPDATE** so I've been coming to this location consistently for several months already, I've seen them transition frequently with different management but this last change is way too extreme for me & has unfortunately ruined the restaurant for me. I used to order their miso ramen soup which used to be priced at $10.50, they've raised the price by $4 so it is now $14. Not only did they raise prices but they also completely changed the recipes of their items. The usual miso soup I would order changed into this creamy chicken broth with fried pieces of tofu in it & peanuts.. it was too much of a dramatic change & I personally didn't like the taste of it so I had to return it. On top of that, we had ordered an oolong teapot and the server completely forgot about it. She didn't bother to still offer me the tea, she was very quick to refund me the entire order. I was pretty disappointed in the service, don't see myself coming here anymore. Older review: Reasonable prices for quality food & a calm relaxing atmosphere. Tried their miso ramen hesitantly since it was only $10 & was pleasantly surprised at how good it was. Would much rather come eat ramen here than to go downtown & waste money on overpriced mediocre ramen. Will definitely come here more often read more

This place is awesome! For vegetarians who love Asian cuisine, this place is heaven. We had the Korean rice cake (spicy!! and delicious), Kimchi Fried rice which is also spicy (but IMHO not the best thing on the menu), the Vegan Spicy Ramen which is a MUST TRY! and the Miso Ramen which is a soupy dish. Everything comes out piping hot and is obviously freshly prepared - the heat lasts long so you know this was on stove top NOT microwave. The place is clean and the staff know what each menu item is, is patient enough to explain and even willing to let you try something and if you hate it, refund or exchange for something else. They are super friendly and the ambiance is simple and clean. Recommend that you try it and we will be going there often! I've been coming to this place 4 times a month since 2016, and boy has this place gone the drain. Post-2017 this place has changed dramatically. I don't know if it's new ownership or a change in staff but it has gotten so bad that the last time i went (tuesday of last week) at around 8:00 pm it was DEAD, no one was there except me and 2 of my friends. When we went to get some food it was not fresh, dry, but because i was so hungry i had no choice. The pork was disgusting, hard to smell because it's been there for long time. 50 minutes passed by and no people started to show up. This place is done, 107 are finished. Never going back. If you guys want fresh Asian food go to restaurants! It's not going to be cheap but it'll be worth it. read more

107 taste has become a staple for my boyfriend, friends and myself. It's a small spot across from FIU but the food packs a punch in taste. Their hot and sour soup has been one of the most spiciest dishes I've had so be cautious if you don't like spice too much. Their ramen, any option, is as if your Japanese grandma you didn't know you had made it for you. The noodle dishes are just as great. I will definitely be going back and trying a different dish. Last but not least, their crepe cake; where do I begin with their crepe cake? Either flavor, Nutella or green tea, is perfection. Any option off the menu will not disappoint. It was our first time we've visited 107 taste. I was immediately greeted by super helpful and sweet Victoria. Victoria helped my girlfriend and I choose our entrees, since we had never been here before. I got Hell's Ramen while my girlfriend ordered Pad Thai with Tofu. We both absolutely loved our meals, and our expectations were more than met. The ambiance of this spot was very chil, warm and inviting and all the staff was extremely attentive not only to us, but it was clear they helped everyone else out greatly. I've been a loyal patron of 107 Taste for years, and it's been a favorite of mine for a long time. However, I must say that since the pandemic, the quality has noticeably declined. While I still enjoy ordering their ramen soup for delivery, it just doesn't taste quite the same as it used to. There seems to be something different about the ingredients or the preparation. Despite this, the restaurant still offers good food. I hope they can return to their pre-pandemic standards because this place has always held a special spot in my heart. The spicey ramen soup is a must-try! It's not too hot to the point where you can't taste the soup, but I love the kick it gives. It also doesn't taste too porky...if that makes sense lol. It's the right balance of flavors! I've had the tonkatsu as well, but it's not as bold as the spicey ramen. The dessert is also great. I've gotten the green tea crepe cake and zombie plant before. Also, less importantly they don't have cinnamon.... C'mon now, it's a coffee shop. They have to get some cinnamon.
