This resturant is so delicious. Had the yummy spicy ramen and indeed is was yummy and spicy. Had it with pork belly, delicious. The taro bubble tea is amazing. The service is quick and very nice. The workers are very sweet and accommodate your needs. Ambiance is very anime and cool. They also have a store connected, to buy any Japanese goods. Definitely come check it out.

Craving some Korean fried chicken and I saw this place pop up! The guy greeting was very helpful and kind. He always asked if I needed anything my short time there! The setting was cool a grocery store on one side and the restaurant on the other side. The theme was really cool and I appreciate it! The food was spectacular the dumplings came out quick and steamy! It was very tasteful and made with love! But the Korea fried chicken bowls was even better! The chicken was made to perfection and mixed well with the egg! 10/10 place!

Thanks to all the great reviews I couldn't resist a visit to this restaurant. Small and clean, the ceiling and walls are all hung with Asian inspired decor. It adds to the coziness. We were there when it opened and within minutes all tables were full before noon. The food is fantastic. The beef ramen was delicious. The beef portions were generous and the broth was bursting with flavor. The crab Rangoon appetizer was small (about 5 pieces) but so crispy on the outside and creamy on the inside, I could've had 20 more. The chicken pad Thai was good but the portion was smaller than I'm used to. It was also a little too "wet", but the flavor was on point. The service was very prompt and the servers were super sweet. Great little spot. Can't wait to return to try their other goodies.

Love the decor. Very lower east side NYC

This is a hidden gem. From signing in for your reservation to the bustling Asian market on the other side of the store. The food and service are the real stars. Authentic Ramen and home made noodles !!! The food was delicious. I had the beef noodle soup and there was plenty of beef. You have to check out this spot.

Good Chef Restaurant needs a rebrand to Amazingly Awesome Food Chef because that's exactly what it is. The menu and quality of the food cannot be understated. The ramen is spectacular. The Korean Cheese Topokki flawless. I'm not a huge anime person but I also loved how over the top it was with the anime around the restaurant. This place is truly a hidden gem in West Miami. Expect a wait when you get there but hopefully not too long of one. The place is great and exactly what Miami needs more of. Delicious food in an authentically cute place. Also check out the store it's attached to. I've never seen so many Asian products in Miami before!

This place was amazing!!! Located inside a grocery store I loved the decor. The staff was super friendly and our food came hot and fresh! I thought my husband would burst with donuts! He couldn't get enough of them. We couldn't finish our food the portions were huge! I literally woke up at 3:30 in the morning and finished off my shrimp COLD!! Since it was the day before Father's Day they gave my husband a few dessert treats to go! The next time we're in Miami, we'll definitely be back!

I come here for the RAMEN!!! Despite having my fair share of Japanese restaurants near home, Good Chef's Tonkotsu Ramen with Char Siu Pork Belly is my top choice. This is my favorite ramen because the pork belly is beautifully charred and has the best texture, and the ramen egg is perfectly marinated on the outside and jammy on the inside. This cute restaurant is tucked away in the corner of an Asian market in a shopping center near FIU. Service is always great.

FIRST THING YOU NEED TO DO IS ADD YOUR NAME TO THE LIST! On busier days, you will see a line of people. Do not make the line. You need to add your name and number to their wait list. Let me start by thanking my brother for putting me on. He's been a regular at the Good Chef for years, and now I'm becoming one too! I go at least twice a month for their delicious ramen, great service, and cool ambiance. I tried ramen here for the first time and I haven't been able to stop eating it since! We'll get to that in a sec. To start, they have a great selection of appetizers. My faves are the Fried Chicken gyoza (6 pcs), the Fried Veggie gyozas, and the Chili Spicy Chicken. They come out hot and crunchy so make sure to let it cool for a minute before trying it! Next, the ramen!! My go-to is the Kimchi Spicy Ramen with extra chicken. Delicious! It definitely has a nice kick to it so prepare to start sweating! I've also had the Yummy Spicy Ramen w/ chicken. My brother's favorite is the Signature Spicy Pork Noodle w/ extra charsui pork belly. Honestly, the ramen is so good, it's hard for us to try anything new, but they have plenty of other options. From rice bowls, dry noodles, and main courses to try! Got room for dessert? Always! We've tried a couple of their Thai donuts, delicious, their Rainbow Mile Crepe Cake, the cutest, and got to sample their Taro balls, which were incredibly yummy with the condensed milk! If you want to try sake and like something sweet and not too strong, I recommend trying the HANA AWAKA (pink bottle) or OZEKI HANA AWAKA SPARKLING YUZU (yellow bottle). My faves, which are a bit stronger, but I feel pair well with the spicy ramen are SHO CHIKU BAI and HAKUSHIKA HANAKOHAKU. I haven't even gotten to the best part, the service! Linda, Katie, and Zen are hands down the best! They are extremely kind, and make you feel so welcomed. They are truly what make the experience complete. To me, this is the perfect spot for tasty Asian food, if you like anime, or even want to try something new! They're pretty quick getting the food out, even when it's packed. It's amazing! Also, it's so cool that they have an Asian market as a part of their location. They have really great snacks and drinks! This review is so long, but I really wanted to show this place the love it deserves! Hope you love it as much as I do!

I would say the best ramen in town is at Good Chef. The staff is great and treat us very well. The ambience is small and has a few booths and tables. Make sure to write name down on list with number. Back to the ramen, I order the spicy miso ramen. I would recommend getting the ramen with handmade noodles with charsui pork belly. You will NOT regret it.

I had been wanting to try Good Chef for a while now but I wasn't able to due to long lines and time of day. The restaurant is small and has an Asian market within. I finally got the opportunity during lunch and it did not disappoint. My coworker and I enjoyed an amazing lunch within our one hour lunch break from a conference and they were timely, efficient, and delicious. The honey garlic chicken was stellar and big enough to share. I'd definitely recommend coming here if in the area and I also want to return to peruse the Asian market. Many things caught my eye.

If I ever feel bad or need a place to surprise someone with really delicious food I bring them here! Brought my mom once and she went back every week after. The service is always good fast and attentive. The ambiance is beautiful I really love this restaurant I highly recommend it.

Long wait time because the area is small but the food and service makes up for it! Food came out hot and fresh.

Great ramen spot! This place is really cool. One side is restaurant and the other is an Asian market. Ambiance is decorative and filled with different anime figures, lights, flowers, and more. The food was delicious here! The ramen is so flavorful and comes with a lot. The porky buns were very good as well! I got the Spicy Miso Ramen and it was awesome! The staff here was nice. They were friendly and the service was quick! I would definitely come again.

I must admit that I have not tried the sushi and do not plan to because the reviews of it are pretty mediocre. But the Ramen is top notch. The bubble teas are delicious. The vibe is just so cool. I really enjoy this restaurant and highly recommend it for what is the clear winner for best Ramen in the area.

Rating: 5.0 Been a…read morehuge fan of the Iron Chef show since I was a kid and my favorite has aways been the Japanese Chef Masaharu Morimoto! And since experiencing his Disney Springs restaurant Morimoto Asia, I had been looking forward for him to come to Miami. This was a couple of years back during the cooler season in Miami. RESTAURANT: I just know that this location is going to be beautiful. Chef Morimoto restaurants are worldwide and so I was not disappointed to see how beautiful this restaurant was and how perfectly complemented the vibe of the Wynwood scene. The restaurant doors open to the street, which was perfect during our winter visit. Inside is an open floor plan with a variety of seating options from the izakaya style table, banquet dining against the wall, to the huge bar. There are even covered seating outside that reminded me of New York. Decor is both minimal but with burst of colors with his signature wall art and backlit panels against the wall. And ofcourse, it won't be an authentic Japanese restaurant without the a display of hyper-realistic food models which can be found as soon as you enter the restaurant to entice your taste buds. Everything just looked sleaked and clean and love the pop of green from the huge fig trees. SERVICE: Service was amazing. From the moment we entered, we were greeted and seated right away for our reservation. Our server answered all of our questions and suggested some fruity cocktails. And lo and behold, owner Chef Morimoto himself presented us with our food and torched it right infront of us! He was so polite and humble and wonderful. We watched him moved from one side of the restaurant to the other with the endurance of a guy in his 20s and he's like 60 something! He did not stop. It was such a treat to have him in our table and how he indulged us when we chanted "Iron Chef! Iron Chef!". It was an amazing experience. FOOD: The menu have the right amount of options, from finger food to ramen, sushi and not to mention the drinks. For starters, pork belly and soft shell crab bao and bbq ribs. Deliciousness! The buns warm and pillowy. The pork, so tender. But that soft shell crab...that made me want to slap someone it was so good. Flavorful, no fishiness whatsoever, crunch on the outside and just happiness on the inside. I will eat a million of these. Then my friend ordered some Yakitori fresh from the grill: chicken, pork belly, shrimp, wagyu. They were simple, fresh and so fingerlicking good. Then the ramen; tonkotsu and gyukotsu. On this cold evening, it was exactly what we needed. These two huge bowls we passed around our table of six. The broth were divine! The pork belly was so delicate that it melts in your mouth. The beef falling off the bones were so tender and delicious. Sushi rolls: spider roll and the surf and turf. The spider roll with that soft shell crab was bomb. But the that A5 wagyu surf and turf was the star of the show. It comes out as raw slices on a roll and Chef Morimoto came out and torched it himself next to our table! I don't know if it tasted spectacular because it's wagyu or because the chef himself had torched it but this was my favorite! Overall, this was the most memorable dining experience I've had in a long time. I am sure that fangirling over the Iron Chef was the main reason but it seems that everything just fell into place for us that evening. Parking was literally next door in the garage, super easy no drama. Service was next level, maybe because the boss was there but we were not going to complain. And the food, impeccable! Pricepoint is just reasonable considering the quality, quantity and the location. It is definitely worth the trip coming here and I can't wait to visit again soon to see if everything will be the same without the Chef Morimoto around. I have a feeling it will be just as wonderful.
