Didn't' open tip the dishwasher and check any parts, knew that I needed a motor when I asked why don't you check into it more. My experience knows that sound was what I was told. I then was told that it would be $450 for a new motor and that it is up to me to fix it - but today will be $95 for the visit. I was reluctant to pay - but had to. They left my house 12 minutes after coming into my house. I then got on the phone and called Kitchenaid (dishwasher is 6 years old). They recommended their guy come out - so I called him. He said that he knows that dishwasher and that he guarantees that it is the chopped and not a new motor. He came 2 days later and it took him 4 minutes to open up the system and look at the chopper - it was a piece of plant stuck in chopper. We removed it and the dishwasher is running perfectly for 4 months now. I called Econo and they were VERY DEFENSIVE! The tech actually called me back with an attitude saying that he knows what he is talking about and that it will need a new motor anyway! Well.........of course everything will need a new motor eventually! They refused to give me my money back! Please - do not use these guys. Call the manufacturer and go with their certified guys that know the appliance. By the way - the certified guy from Kitchenaid was $85 not $95 - cheaper!

I absolutely hate using their machines and services…read more Every other time, there seems to be a problem with either the machine or the card (even when my card was brand new, they said it could be the card not working.) They really should put a coin slot in their machines to avoid all the people calling in. Their customer service is just as bad. I called in to ask for help and the guy on the phone was pretty rude to me and basically made it seem like it was my fault why I wasn't able to get laundry done. He said I was trying to get out of paying (which I wasn't. I told him I had just reloaded the card and had the receipts still.) and that there really wasn't anything he could do and wouldn't offer a timeline on anything. I would honestly give them zero stars if I could but Yelp won't let me. Basically if you can avoid it, avoid using this service, these machines, etc. I hope my building replaces their machines with a better service.
