I absolutely hate using their machines and services. Every other time, there seems to be a problem with either the machine or the card (even when my card was brand new, they said it could be the card not working.) They really should put a coin slot in their machines to avoid all the people calling in. Their customer service is just as bad. I called in to ask for help and the guy on the phone was pretty rude to me and basically made it seem like it was my fault why I wasn't able to get laundry done. He said I was trying to get out of paying (which I wasn't. I told him I had just reloaded the card and had the receipts still.) and that there really wasn't anything he could do and wouldn't offer a timeline on anything. I would honestly give them zero stars if I could but Yelp won't let me. Basically if you can avoid it, avoid using this service, these machines, etc. I hope my building replaces their machines with a better service. read more

They've recently changed the way you re-load a laundry card in my building. It used to be you'd go to the laundry room and put money on using a credit card. It was simple and efficient. So it needed to be changed. Apparently because it was not compliant with some new law. So now instead you have to create an online account, Buy a code online. Then go and enter that code in a machine. What a pain! And to top it off... the display on the machine is so faint you can't see what it says to do. Blind man's bluff! Get a better system! Quarters would be better!!!! read more

Pretend to fix things so you keep wasting money on their broken machines. Its been a year and nothing has been fixed. If you're considering moving into a building that has machines from tedi-matts, consider living somewhere else - trying to do laundry here is a nightmare. Terrible people. read more

This company is by far the most unprofessional company that I have ever dealt with. They are rude, lack customer service and apparently think that intimidating and threatening their customer is the best method to achieve their goal. I would not recommend and HIGHLY discourage doing business with Tedi Matts laundry. There are enough other competitors that have a higher level of customer service. Our building had an agreement with Tedi Matts for laundry service. They stopped making their monthly payments earlier this year. They also failed to make necessary repairs when equipment failed. After attempting to contact them for multiple months (with no response or promises of a call back from their secretary), we finally had to get an attorney to send a letter to them. Our attorney was finally able to reach the owner of the company and speak to him. The owner was hostile and rude on the phone. Tedi Matts said they would remove the machines. We asked them to pay their debts as the agreement (contract) required them to do. Tedi Matts refused to make payments so we officially cancelled our agreement with them and told them to remove the machines. We told them that we would now go our separate ways since they wouldn't meet their payment obligations. Once we did that, they became even more aggressive and unprofessional and even threatening. They are now refusing to remove the machines and are threatening legal action against the building (keep in mind that they are the ones that refused to make their monthly payments as required.) read more

Literally the WORST customer service/ people skills I have EVER come into contact with. Not only are the machines small & overpriced, they refuse to issue refunds due to customers after machines malfunction & steal money. The person in charge of "customer service" is "Ted". He is rude, disrespectful, dismissive & an all around awful person to have to deal with. He feels that he can bully customers into backing down & has even referred to customers (the very people who provide him with a paycheck & good on the table) in a derogatory manner to management in my very building. In addition, the secretary "Katy" is rude as well, but very possibly bullied by the "Ted" person & places customers on hold for up to 15-20min at a time, takes the phone off the hook, & refuses to accommodate customers in any way. I definitely do not recommend anyone do business with these people . read more

Absolutely awful. The machines take only THEIR specific card, not quarters or credit cards. To top it all off, the system for refilling the card is not at all convenient, requiring you to get online and punch in a code on your card in a machine elsewhere. Finally, because their card is the only way of paying, if that card stops working (which it will), you are screwed and can't do your laundry until the next weekday. read more

He said how am I going to do that? i said get in your car and drive to Briarwood. At which point, he hung up on me. this is not customer service. This is abuse. Very disappointing. My co-op recently switched to this company but what a mistake! The new machines broke within the first week, don't clean clothes as well as our old machines, and customer service is dreadful. Respondents need professional customer service training because they are ill prepared to answer questions and resolve problems. The attitude that comes across from both the answering service and employees is a clear "I don't care, nothing I can do about it." Granted, much of this poor service is a result of my co-op - yet again - opting for a CHEAPER vendor in an effort to say a few pennies. As mom always said, you get what you pay for. If you have an option, I would suggest going with any vendor over Tedimatte. read more
