Looks are always deceiving on social media, but I found a great hairstylist in Jen! I reluctantly started searching for a new stylist after my long-time, old-school beautician retired. I have literally been veiling my hair under scarves, because I haven't had my hair professional maintained since March. I booked a Wash & Style and Haircut on the StyleSeat app. I received a call from an unknown number shortly after, and it was Jen herself. She called to let me know that she received my booking and that she manages her clientele on her own via her website now, not StyleSeat. She also asked me questions about my hair, and that let me know she cares about hair health. Cool Points #1 and #2. We reconfirmed on the phone and I made my appointment. Upon arriving, I was greeted by Jeniffer before we entered he suite. She was waiting for me. Cool Point #3. I was amazed at how fast she worked! She works fast, and does not spare attention to detail. You guess it: Cool Point #4 LOL Remember the cut I mentioned? I told Jeniffer that I wanted to maintain my cut, while allowing my hair to grow back out. That's an ask I believed to be non-sensical, but Jen made it happen. It was a $685 dollar boondongle and I just can't be happy about that, plain and simple. That was just my experience.

She straightened my baby hair which other places have not done, likely because they don't have a small-sized straightening iron. The price for my smoothing service was comparable to other salons that I have been to, however, this was the only salon that applied a 3% credit card transaction fee. The glue is still under the bottom eyelash area. Also, ripped out my natural eyelashes with this horrible product or glue they used. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND NOT THE PLACE TO GET EYELASH EXTENSIONS. Try Lash MOI in Bowie whom are extremely professional and well versed in Eyelash application but are expensive.
