I find the gym always clean, friendly, never over crowded, with every piece of equipment in great condition. after 10+ years as a member, only just started taking the classes for something new. Life.Changing. Especially the mid-day Barre with Renay and Yoga with Belinda (weekends) which break me out of my Zoom hell. I used to be a member of Iconfit when I lived in the area - Antonia and her staff were always so delightful, friendly and helpful. Since moving to the valley and experiencing other gyms I can say by far this is one of the best gyms I've belonged to and makes me contemplate the drive to become a member again! The pricing is totally fair when you look at other places with similar classes / equipment. The amenities are great and in disagreement with other reviews, I quite like the dim lighting. I've been going to this gym every single day since I signed up. I used to go to LA Fitness for a while before switching over, and I couldn't believe that I have been missing out on this gym for such a long time. I love the beautiful view from inside the gym. The greeneries around the gym makes it really feel like you're not trapped inside while you're working out. Speaking of space, there's always so much space to work out in and I never end up waiting for any machines or stations. I still haven't gotten a chance to explore all the amenities provided in this gym because there's so much value here. Shower and lockers are very clean, and the staff is very friendly. "Women beware!" I appreciated this gym until me and my GF decided to cancel our membership. Once we canceled somehow employees shared our info with other members ma and it became gossip that we were leaving the gym which was weird. A couple guys asked me as well as my gf. If it was true we weren't going to attend the gym anymore. I was weird because we hadn't discussed any membership info with any members. On my Gf final day at the gym and strange man followed her out to elevator and said "he heard it was her last day" and he also mentioned " he was sad she's wasn't attending the gym anymore" (stranger creeper weirdo) I feel that the employees here need to be more professional. And keep personal information private and not share personal info with members. They really Created an uncomfortable and extremely weird situation for my girlfriend. read more

I love my gym! The facility is huge and has every piece of equipment you could want. The cleaning staff are constantly wiping down every surface. The management team is on-site always, ready to help. The men's lockerroom has a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi along with unlimited towels and toiletries. The whole place feels upscale and luxurious, with much better prices than Equinox. This gym is a hidden gem! When I moved here, I visited 4 different gyms in the area and I knew right away that Iconfit was it. Iconfit is a large, beautiful gym with all of the equipment you are looking for. I used to live in the Bay Area and used Equinox there, and Iconfit feels just like Equinox to me. I used to be a personal trainer and there are a few must-haves for me: more than one squat rack, a big area for free weights (so you aren't having to compete for space or weights), and kettlebells. I realize these needs are unique to me, but the point is that Iconfit has everything you'll need! Everyone who works there is kind and friendly. It's a huge space with big windows everywhere you look. It's really clean, and their amenities are great (filtered water, cold eucalyptus towels). The locker rooms are super clean, too! I've never seen it so busy that I felt like I was waiting for machines or couldn't get my workout in the way I wanted. They also have TVs in the stretch area and cardio area. I like to zone out when I'm stretching and it's nice to have the TVs :) The parking situation is brilliant. There's a structure under the building and Iconfit validates. Lastly, their membership fees are incredibly fair. When I signed up, it was $115 per month and you could cancel anytime, 30 days in advance. No ridiculous contracts. And the price for that nice of a gym is such a steal. Every other gym I went to in the area was a dump, a mess with weights everywhere, and with crazy prices and contracts. I had to leave this gym after moving out of the area around August 2022. When I called to cancel my membership, I was told that my only option was to come in person to cancel. After several months of being unable to return to cancel in person, I called again. This time I told there actually was recourse to cancel via email. Then, when I write to cancel and was told that - even after already paying for several months of not using the gym due essentially being lied to - my cancellation would not be effective for an additional 30 days. My response explaining my frustration went unanswered. Would not recommend. read more

I was waiting for a sexy second before writing a review so I could really figure out how I feel about this gym! Here I go... Having come from 24 Hour Fitness, the bar was on the floor. It wasn't too difficult to exceed expectations, which IconFit has! I started out with a free workout. Antonia gave me a quick tour of the facility then set me free to pump dat iron. I love that (at least at the time) it was immediately month to month. It was easy to sign up and become a member, and there was no pressure to join. At 24, I felt like I wasn't allowed in the free weight section and like the gym rats had dibs on everything... so I almost exclusively worked out in the studio room when no classes were going on. I'm glad that there is limited gym rattery here and I feel comfortable using virtually all equipment! It also never gets nearly as packed as it does at other gyms. On the busiest days, it's still not too bad. Parking is convenient - with the exception of that one time when my ticket didn't work and I was trapped in the garage!!! But I'm pretty sure that was a one time fluke. There are great amenities here but I honestly don't take advantage of any of them - except the eucalyptus cold towels. My lord almighty. Idk the point or intended use for those, but it's magical to just throw one of those bad boys on my face and inhale that eucalyptus. But anyways... Staff is solid. I just started going to IconFit this past month and they are definitely 5/5 stars! The gym is immaculate. There are so many machines and isn't insanely crowded where you can't get to a machine you need. There are endless weights and contraptions you're able to use. Additionally, it's totally random but I LOVE their water. I'm a water snob and it's clean and tastes extremely pure. The staff is friendly, parking is great, and locker rooms perfect. It's basically Equinox minus the snob and ridiculous overpriced membership. read more

After 412 days in quarantine, and missing work outs at IconFit terribly, I'm happily back - and couldn't feel safer! They're abiding by all CDC health guidelines, and rules - the place is spotless - and the cleaning staff is ever-present. Iconfit is a great fit for me. I know there is a mixed bag here in comments in here and to each their own, but there is very little for me to complain about. Now let me start off by saying I don't really use the locker rooms, except to use the bathrooms which I have no complaints about. This is because I normally workout/stretch for about 2 hours and the parking is only free for first 2 (weekdays). So the complaints about the locker room I can't speak on. My only real complaint is that some of the gym equipment feels a little close to one another I'm sometimes having to wait for someone to finish a set before I change my weights so I don't get hit (more noticeable during peak hours). Otherwise, I never have issues waiting for equipment during the times I go to the gym. Staff is always respectful. Love that the gym is so close, making working out very convenient. No complaints about the price, especially when you see Equinox prices and then proceed to read some of their reviews! Recommend this place in a heartbeat! read more

I've been going to this gym since 2017 and this review is way overdue. This place has become my sanctuary. If you're a regular gym goer you'd understand when I say I'm in love with this place. It's extremely clean. The workers are CONSTANTLY cleaning the machines and the locker rooms. There's an amazing sauna and steam room. The showers and bathrooms are spotless. Warm and fresh towels are always available at your disposal. Most importantly this place attracts very good and respectful people . Most of the demographic are young professionals. People usually keep to themselves but if you approach them they're very friendly . I went to LA fitness up the street and couldn't bear to even finish the workout. Way too many people bothering you, too many people waiting for the machines . If you're looking for a quiet place where people are serious about working out but also friendly and respectful, this is the right place. You'll get the luxury of Equinox for a third of the price. Antonia is the most amazing manager. Steve is incredibly kind. Alberto is always adding his incredible and creative touch during the holidays and events throughout the year. Dan is so sweet. I love all the amazing trainers whom I see every time and greet you with the greatest smile and always so personable. These people have truly become my other family . If you're reading Yelp reviews to figure out if this gym is right for you, let me tell that it probably is. I've been going here for about a year now and it's a great gym. It's never crowded, the facilities and machines are always working and clean, the other folks here are respectful and the vibe is chill. Everyone is friendly and helpful and there's no loud, grunts and weird dudes messing up the energy. The locker rooms are stocked with plenty of towels, and toiletries, along with ample lockers, a sauna, steam room, and jacuzzi spa. They're all situated in the back, near the showers. And as a result, they're very quiet and relaxing to use. The gym also has chilled eucalyptus towels that are the absolute business. There's plenty of equipment and it's a rare occasion when you're waiting for a machine to free up. There's two studios that are open to use outside of class, stocked with cycles and boxing gear. There's also a full boxing ring available in the gym. Iconfit is a chill, less pretentious Equinox. And the best part of this place is Alberto, the floor manager at the gym. He makes going there a fun experience. He knows everybody by name, checks in with you, and has the brightest energy in the place. If you don't pop in for a few days, he'll notice. He welcomes and jokes with everyone and he makes it absolutely fun to come to the gym. I typically go in at 5:30am and Bert always knows how to rev me up, even on my worst days when I'm feeling like garbage. He plays the best workout music so sometimes I don't even turn on my headphones. This place is great and I'm happy I found it. 100% recommend this place and have managed to get a few other people to join. The only complaint I have is that there used to be crazy awesome handmade decorations when you walked into the gym. They changed for holidays and whatnot and it made the gym seem less intimidating for new people. And it was also just festive and interesting. It was always fun to walk in during the holidays because you had no idea what you were gonna see. But something changed and there's no more decorations and instead they've put up some giant, boring fitness fashion prints that just reek of westside pretentiousness. Bring back the decorations!! I'm so happy that I found IconFit. It's a great facility - all the equipment is in great condition, and I'm able to use all the machines I need for my workout even on the busiest of days. The staff is so friendly and helpful; it's clear that they're dedicated to creating a safe, fun and positive environment for their members. And the members are so friendly! After just a few months I'm on a first-name basis with several folks. This gym is the absolute best bang for your buck in Los Angeles. I've been a member everywhere from LA Sports Club to Equinox over the years and this club stands up to them both for a fraction of the cost. Parking is ridiculously easy and free, the staff is helpful, friendly and polite, the machines are well maintained and there is tons of space to do your own thing without being on top of anyone. I usually work out around 6 pm which for most gyms is the busiest of times but I hardly ever wait for a machine. Although the vibe of other members is friendly and considerate, everyone is there to work out and pretty much keep to themselves, which I appreciate. They have a ton of amenities including a new cold plunge bath. Although I'm not much of a class person, according to my wife, they have some great offerings comparable to what you would find on ClassPass. read more

I have been going to IconFit for over two years now and I don't plan on leaving any time soon! Price - I feel IconFit has a great monthly rate given the amenities, equipment, cleanliness, staff, and overall quality of the gym. Staff - I really value the staff at IconFit. They are always friendly and helpful. I also appreciate the communication and updates the gym provides around the latest COVID regulations. Amenities & Equipment - Whether you are into cardio, strength training, or group classes, I feel that IconFit has everything you need to stay in shape. Even when the average gym-goer spends most of their time sitting on their phones between reps, I don't ever feel that I am waiting too long for equipment to become available as they have multiple squat racks and benches. Cleanliness - I once brought my brother-in-law to IconFit and he mentioned that this was the first gym he went to that DIDN'T smell like intense body odor. I think this statement speaks for itself. But in all seriousness, the locker rooms and gym floor is always neat and clean, even after a Monday gym rush. If you DON'T like wearing a mask, this is the gym for you. Per the current LA Cty Mask guidance: "Require all customers, regardless of vaccination status, to bring and wear masks when they are indoors... Ensure that customers wear their masks indoors, even while exercising." This gym's INTERPRETATION: Members are required to wear their mask upon entering the building and the club. (In reality: NOT ENFORCED) Members must continue to wear their mask as they move to each area within the club. (In reality: NOT ENFORCED) Members can l lower/remove masks while exercising if fully vaccinated (proof on file) (In reality: mask lowering is extending BEYOND just @ their exercise spot!) I don't know if this gym is afraid of p'ing off members by enforcing the COUNTY's guidelines or, at bare minimum, their own flunky rules, but there are people who enter and work out the entire time with NO MASK whatsoever, proudly and openly spreading their germs. UNMASKED members blatantly walk by the staff desk and throughout the gym through their entire visit and staff will say nothing. Gym is great at providing plenty of wipes, equipment is good, and staff is nice, but ridiculous interpretation of mask policy and lack of enforcement is DUMB and is the reason for the one star rating. read more

So I really enjoy going to this gym. I feel like my only critique are the guest passes. For the cost, there should be a free guest pass for the first 7 visits and then $10 thereafter. The other critique I have are the weights - the plates for the free weights in particular. There are only a total of maybe 4 rogue plates. 2 45lbs and 2 25lbs. If there are more, I've never seen them. But as someone who lifts and have been to plenty of other gyms, it's kind of crazy to not have top tier equipment for the cost. Before I moved back to LA, I went to EōS in Phx and when I first returned to LA, I was at Gold's gym. Both EōS and golds have an abundance of the big rogue free weight plates and also have memberships that are significantly less expensive. I feel like things like this push individuals away from this gym and towards other facilities. I still really enjoy this gym and the people here. I like that it's quiet for the most part and a more secluded gym. But there are definitely improvements that could be made. An example of the rogue plates that I believe a gym of this caliber should have are included below. Definitely something to think about They don't need to be the colorful ones. Just these types of plates - people really come it to workout and get a good lift in. And they should have the proper equipment in this regard. Like it's sometimes challenging to get my hip thrusts in the way I like to because the other weights are simply too small. The gym is very boutique so not too overcrowded like many chain gyms and host a millennial crowd of young professionals who come there to get in and get out. COVID has impacted the amount of classes they hold now but still a decent selection thats comes with the membership. I've been a member at Icon Fit (and the previous two names) for 11 years so I've seen the changes over the years. It's been such a pleasant experience since Icon Fit took a couple years ago over as the equipment is well maintained and there is never a wait for what you want as there is so much to choose from. Antonia has done a great job as the GM and leads a great staff who are friendly and helpful. The locker rooms are always clean and spread out and a bonus with the whirlpool, steam room and sauna for a little relaxing at the end of a workout. Great fitness facility for sure! read more

I really appreciated this gyms' strict cleaning and mask protocols before the restrictions were let up. I'd been looking for a gym since I'd moved back to LA for a long time. I -tried Equinox, Orange Theory, YMCA, and 24-hour fitness. I didn't feel any of these gyms have all the amenities I was looking for or was worth the money. I'm soooooooooooo happy I found IconFit. The gym is very clean and modern with high-end finishes. There're chill eucalyptus towels, alkaline water, small/large lockers, showers, sauna, steam, jacuzzi, all the gym equipment you could want, and validated parking. The pricing for this gym is VERY reasonable considering they have the same amenities as equinox if not newer, cleaner and better. Definitely recommend this gym :) read more

Not worth the SIGNIFICANTLY increased price that the new ownership group is imposing on members. The equipment isn't new. In fact it hasn't been replaced since three ownership groups (AT LEAST 5-7 years) ago. The showers are terrible. Low water pressure, no hot water at important times, and even occasionally no shampoo in every shower stall. And the gym isn't as big as it looks, as they have closed certain class rooms that have shrunk the original size of the gym by about a third. The staff are nice, but the classes aren't anything special. And the good class trainers have their own sign up lists (on the side) for popular classes, making it hard to get into good classes. A new ownership group basically bought an old, but fairly nice gym, is putting a coat of paint on it, and increasing prices substantially. Really really not worth the price when you could pay less than $100 more to get an actual high end gym (Equinox) with real amenities. read more

I have been a member since Century City days, and I just returned after three and half month long forced hiatus and oh boy, what a welcome sight it was. I have been working out for three days on a row and it is never ever crowded at all (well almost empty, so it's like having a gym for myself.lol). There are a few santizer stations as well as wipe stations placed here and there, and extremely clean throughout. The men's locker room is impeccable and shower booths are clean. There are tons of clean and neatly-folded towels available for wiping out your sweat. I am very glad that I didn't drop my membership off in mid March as pandemic was getting warmed up.
