***THERES ALWAYS AN EXCEPTION TO A RULE WHEN ITS LIFE OR DEATH***…read more OWNER... Larry Reed - BAD BUSINESS!!! I paid $1000 for a service that was NEVER PROVIDED! I hired Mr. Reed, to do a service for my daughter's wedding, which didn't happen due to her husband's mother passing well before the planned date in June! I cancelled with Moving Memories, giving Mr. Reed OVER 100 days notice, ALONG with offering him to keep $250 (out of Good-Will). Again, NO SERVICES were provided, as in, he did NOTHING!!! I NEVER gave him 1-photo or ANYTHING!!! When I asked for a refund, Mr. Reed's EXACT response was (as he chuckled), "I'm sorry for your loss, but I don't give refunds, I'm happy to give you 5-yrs of cloud storage though"!!! I told him, "NO! I DON'T want cloud storage!!" AND, there was NOTHING in the contract that said "No refunds"! ...At the end of the day, he did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING; except keep my $$, & pour salt in our very deep wounds, as we mourn through our loss! "WHERES THE EMPATHY OR COMPASSION , Mr. Reed"??? AND WHY did you NOT inform that you had a no-refund policy, verbally OR in your executed contract? Was there hidden fine print somewhere? Should I post that NEXT??? Below are Pics from the OUT OF STATE Emergency wedding,,put together in 3 days, so groom's mother could be present for her & her son's day of a lifetime. We flew our entire family to AZ, which was very costly! But such an honor since mom wasn't going to make it to June, for original wedding that was canceled. Groom's mom was removed from hospice for 6hrs to be part of the ceremony held inside her home. Immediately following, she was placed back into hospice, where she passed, just days later. We now live in TX, where our entire family just relocated. I informed Reed of this well in advance prior to purchasing his package, informing there'd NEVER be need for his "Free 5yr Web Storage". Ha! FREE??? Oh & BTW... Let's NOT try to save face by bringing the LORD into your bad attempt to look holier than thou! I've taught BIBLE STUDY over 25yrs & it has NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS!! Since YOU went there, you should then know better since there's several books n the Bible, referencing those who use HIS HOLY name in VAIN, & take scripture out of context for their selfish GAIN/GREED. Ohhhh, & filing a lawsuit attempt to collect an extra $7000?? That's SO godly! Actually, I think that's called, hypocrisy. YOU MR. Reed did a BAD thing! I'm just using my "freedom of speech" to speak truth to others! I tried calling to discuss in a professional & kind manner! YOU chuckled at me & refused my offer!

I was greeted immediately with incredibly professional and friendly service, provided multiple options, and they got my order ready in time to give as a Mother's Day gift. My mom teared up and was so glad to have this new option to watch the home videos in a more relevant format. Will be returning, thank you again!

I needed some super8 film transferred to digitally editable HD files, and I thought using the (not…read moreto be named) largest camera store in Colorado to do the transfer was a good idea. Turns out I was wrong. You can find a lengthy review of my experience here: https://www.yelp.com/user_details_reviews_self?userid=sreVHMucelYx2qFpgp4DMA I set out to find another video house to do the transfer and many of them seemed to just be the website with different domain names (same pricing, same interface, some times even the same stock photos, etc.) and all were out of state. Then I discovered RMAVP. Not only was it a local Colorado business their site explained in great detail how they transfer film using a sprocketless, frame by frame process that uses LED light (so no film burn) and no sprocket damage (over time film shrinks and using it in an old projector can damage it). So I left a message over a weekend, and the next Monday their Sales Exec (Doug Z) called me back. He explained what they needed (the footage and a hard drive in exFAT format) and answered all of my questions about the transfer process, color correction, film grain reduction, etc. Since I would be using the footage for a short film and had lots of editing software he advised I skip color correction and film grain reduction so I would just have the raw footage, which is the best and most honest answer possible. I dropped the footage off and was told it would be about two weeks. Less than 48 hours later I got an email saying my footage was ready. When I went to pick up the footage Doug gave me a tour of the entire facility - the sound studio, two green screen studios (it seems they once filmed a zebra in one of them), the transfer room, shipping etc. The footage is flawless. So, the transfer was fast, well done, inexpensive compared to the alternatives, and I got a tour - and I know where to shoot if I need a professional studio with green screens in Colorado. I honestly can't believe RMAVP exists, but I don't think there's any place between L.A. and Chicago that could support a place like this except Denver. When I said this to Doug he replied in the most Colorado manner possible - "Well, someone's got to do it". Do it they did, and very, very well.

I had the best experience at Leave a Legacy! My husband and I are preparing to move into our RV…read morefull time and do not have room to store the many Creative Memories albums. I brought 3 loads of albums, loose photos and old camcorder videos in to be transferred to memory "brick" (my word). The staff was amazingly helpful and kind which is just what I needed as this part of my down size was very difficult. Marsha has been very helpful with ensuring photos were scanned timely in order to meet our personal needs with an impending family passing. Each album page scanned was done so well! The videos they downloaded were better then iMemories! They even scanned the front and back of a framed picture! This is a very costly process but the work they put in to each scan and the ability to plug in my "brick" and pull up any video or photo is priceless! Thank you Leave a Legacy/Marsha/and staff for saving our family memories!

I sent three as a trial and they came back very professionally done and in a timely manner. I then sent the next 34 years worth of home movies all the while crossing my fingers that they got there safely. Fortunately they did and again, the hard drive I received back was done very nicely. So basically: good prices, great service and friendly staff.
