Well now I can see through my iPhone thanks to Jollin from Doc iOS! I have one of those slim phone cases because I don't like the bulkier ones that have the all around protection. So far in life I've been lucky until a month ago when I dropped my phone in the bathroom and it hit at juuust the right spot and cracked in a spider web pattern. UPDATE3: The phone froze several more times. In addition, the screen is not visible with polarized glasses in the portrait position but as I later learned it was visible in the landscape position. As a result of the freezing I reached out to Jollin. We finally connected and she graciously replaced my screen with an upgraded glass model. The new screen is viewable with polarized sunglasses in both the portrait and landscape position. My rewiew for Jollin's willingness to make things right is 5 stars. My review for Icracked not installing or offering the best available replacement glass upfront is 3 stars. Hence the 4 star review. I am hopeful, the phone won't freeze any more and there won't be another update. UPDATE2: Jollin came over as promised. She confirmed the screens used were after market screens and looked closely at the connections of the one previously installed. She discovered the connections on the screen were not in good condition so she replaced the screen. She looked at the new screen closely to ensure the connections were perfect prior to installing. She certainly put in the effort to make things right. Unfortunately, the use of aftermarket screens appears to have caused the issue. Additionally, the aftermarket screens come with tempered glass. It looks like an extra sheet of glass on the screen. Unfortunately, the new screen she installed has a very small bubble between these two layers. This does not affect my viewing when the phone is on, but certainly another reason Icracked should use OEM screens. UPDATE1: After sending Jollin a text explaining her employer wanted videos and I was disappointed in the process, she kindly offered to come by anyways to check on the phone as She wanted it to be right. INITIAL: Things started out great. Jollin came out, was pleasant, replaced the screen in a timely manner and left. Unfortunately, the phone froze two time after she left. I had to do 2 hard resets (power/home buttons). I sent her an email to the email address provided explaining the issue in hopes of finding out if this could be caused by the screen replacement. I received a response from Icracked concierge (not Jollin) via email. They told me to contact the tech directly or fill out the warranty form. I would prefer to work directly with Jollin so I reached out to her via text. She initially said via a 7:29 a.m.text on Sunday she would come out and check on the phone and asked if 10:30 a.m. work, I assumed she meant the same day so I said it did not. She corrected me and said it would be on Monday. I said okay, anytime after 10 a.m works. She never responded to that text and did not show up. I followed up and she apologized for not confirming that time and asked about my availability again. I said I am free all day. She said she would get back to me shortly. The next text I received she asked that I fill out the warranty form and that she would respond once approved by the company. I filled out the form and then I receive a message from the concierge asking me to take a video of the problem and pictures of the frame. Really? Without a second phone, it is impossible. Additionally, it doesn't freeze all the time, so I cannot arrange to have another persons phone with me simply waiting for my phone to freeze. I have also asked 3 times if the screen was OEM.....no response. Clearly it is an aftermarket screen. A simple phone call from the tech could have prevented a lot of confusion, but instead the texting and emails created a cumbersome and tiring exercise. My phone has not been checked, but I can live with a few reboots versus dealing with this process. read more

They do not offer any kind of support for their batteries. I had a defective battery installed in my phone and I was pretty much screwed. I suggest you watch a short you tube video online and buy the hardware from amazon. They charge a lot of money and don't back up their service for something any average person could fix on their own. Very disappointed, tech never showed for the appointment... When I called, the initial dispatch service was nice and they gave me the number for Germaine. I called Germaine and made an appointment for 9:30 the following day to meet up to have my iPhone glass replaced. I texted to confirm the appointment the same day and didn't hear anything back. I showed up at 9:20 at the appointed place and texted Germaine to let him know that I was there and only then did he say, "Tried to get in contact with you yesterday. I can't make this appointment because I have other appointment". There is no missed call or text message from him, so I'm not sure how he tried to get in contact with me... Very frustrating to re-arrange my day and go out of my way to make an appointment with someone who doesn't show up. Also, I texted him just a few minutes after he said he couldn't show up to tell him that I never got his message and asked when we could make another appointment (my bad, should have just gone elsewhere at that point). He never texted back. Hate to write bad reviews (I almost never do) but that's just bad practice. i originally wrote a 5 star review. But then the screen quit working and the technician, Weston, who replaced my screen was not very helpful at first, and iCracked screwed me completely with some made up BS AFTER taking days to reply, saying that the technician reported my phone as having been serviced before which is a TOTAL LIE! i then edited my review to have one star. LIke many places, their warranty sounds great, but then it turns out, they are like many other places and their "warranty" means absolutely nothing other than wasting a lot of time. DO yourself a favor and spend a little more money somewhere else local and get real service! i edited my review to have only one star, but then after i fought iCracked hard enough, they finally got a hold of Weston, and he did say that he trusted me and that they should honor their warranty. So i value Weston even though i despise iCracked. i still HIGHLY recommend going anywhere but iCraacked, but if you find yourself in a position where you absolutely need to use them, just know that their warranty means absolutely nothing. i have now been without a phone for over 5 days because of how terrible of a company they are. And if you do choose to use them, make sure you have Weston do your repair because he is a good human being. read more

I met Juan at a Starbucks this week while sitting at a group table. I watched him fix 3 cracked screens for customers and they walked away all happy. It's quite an involved job and he does it with focus and expertise. I asked him if he fixed TV's and he had me explain my problem. Then he gave me some ideas for a product to search for. He searched online also. The issue was more complicated than he thought and he said let me research it when I get back to my office and I'll send you some links. And he did!!! I ended up buying a $27 gadget to fix my problem with my TV. In the conversations I had with Juan I realized he knew a lot about electronics. Not only is he a stand up guy he' smart!!!
