So helpful and efficient, and was very nice to my children I had to bring along due to lack of childcare during the summer. I went to another location in the Mission district before this and it was miserable! Close to the worst possible experience I could have. I only went there because it was the closest to my home that was one of the options my future employer posted on their website. After that awful experience, I remembered that in the past, I went to ID solutions and had a good experience getting fingerprinted for another job. I called to see what he could do and sure enough he squeezed me in that day (today), had NO TROUBLE at all getting my prints in just about one minute (the other place couldn't do it right after over an hour on my last trip...long story...) and he even was super nice to my two young children I had to bring along. Came here over the past 2 years to get my live scans done for school and now in preparation of my certification. Always reliable and kind service. I find it to be a great price too compared to other live scans nearby. Appointments are made by phone, super easy to fit a time as soon as possible. Appointments are super quick, you are in and out in 5-10 minutes. I'm always comfortable here and even enjoy the conversation! There is neighborhood parking if you can find it, but it might be far and little because it's by sunset. I usually pay 15 min meter parking since there's always plenty. read more

I have had multiple great experiences at ID Solutions, including kind interactions with the owner. He was able to get me in very quickly and was very professional. The state I sent my prints to either lost them or got food on them (lol) and he was so quick to get me in again to redo my prints. He was very understanding. Super easy fingerprinting and background check process. The location is right off Irving St. on 17th Ave. It's on the ground floor of what looks like a residential building, so it can be easy to miss. There is currently no big sign but you will see the address with the sign for "ID Solutions" on the door. You go in and Willy takes your fingerprints with his mask on, and with gloves. He asks that you use hand sanitizer before touching the finger scanner. I had filled out the form and printed it prior to arriving. He scanned it, and that was it. Very easy and quick. There was only one person inside other than myself and there is space, so it felt safe in terms of social distancing. read more

Rude horrible service. I have a scheduled appointment, I get there 5mins before. The guy refused to let me inside the building, he took my paper work and id asked for my social and closed the door right behind him. This interaction makes me really uncomfortable. I am just waiting outside a sketchy building like an animal. This treatment is inhumane. Almost 15mins later he says it's my turn. That's 20mins standing outside on the corner with f the street. Then emerge a girl no older than 16 come out. He says it's my turn, he finger prints me for 20secs tops and my appointment was over. What was he doing with that young girl for so long if the appointment only took less than a minute??? read more

He discussed all my options and made sure I understood everything clearly - patiently going over finer details until I got it. His expertise made my work successful. I was dealing with an unrealistic deadline with a three day weekend looking me in the face! There were other difficulties he helped me through as well. He even gave me the option to leave without paying anything and call him later with my decision to go through with it or not. Great fast service. Less costly than others on the list given to me for work. The guy who owns the place is really nice and extremely friendly overall. Even when I had some issues with work not getting prints processed as quickly as before and I emailed him, he was able to clearly let me know what they weren't; which was everything was fine and within 5 business days I had my approval from the DOJ. Only downside in that place is the following: 1. Stairs - not handicap friendly that I could tell. 2. The place has no AC. It's HOT in there. 3. The water fountain that is in there needs fixing as it dribbles out water lol. Not helpful to even fill a bottle and not sanitary in my eyes. I needed inked fingerprint services right away for a position I'm very eager to get. I walked up to the building and, standing outside, called their local number. At the same time, another customer was coming out, asking me if I wanted to come in. The gentleman inside said I could come in. I asked him if he performed inked fingerprinting, which he confirmed that he did. This was during the lunchtime hour so I was worried that I might be interrupting his potential lunch hour. I had no appointment, although, I had left a message on his 888 (toll free) phone number about 15 minutes before, advising that I needed to have prints done that day. He explained the services while he was taking my prints, was very kind and personable, and even wished me luck in my obtaining this job which we briefly discussed. His name is Willie??
