These guys were amazing to work with. Very kind and easy going. The boats were mostly in good condition and everything we needed.

Nice place to stay for a family. I've read the comments and all I see and hear little cry baby…read moreadults complaining about oh so little space and how rowdy kids are. Well it's called a campy park and that means families can come and stay. People who complain about kids don't have kids. Suck it up or don't come . WiFi is great!

We have stayed here 3 times over the summer of 2023. It's a nice RV/tent campground north of town,…read moreso it's not super busy like the other ones in downtown Garden City. The hosts have been wonderful, and the park is really clean. There are on-site restrooms with showers, laundry; a little store for ice, snacks, souvenirs, and firewood. No WiFi, and cell phone service isn't very good, but that's okay as you are camping. :-) Only complaints are deluxe spots with the little yard and picnic table (nice by the way) are $95 nightly, and the crammed other spots are about $45-60 nightly. Crammed meaning you're parked right next to your neighbors like a parking lot. Our first weekend was wonderful! Quiet, respectful neighbors... but our last two weekends were full of screaming babies, rowdy kids, and loud music. We'd stay again in a pinch due to polite hosts and a very clean campground; but the high prices and loud neighbors are a deterrent. No beach or lake access, so you'll have to drive a little ways. Not really bicycle accessible either as it's far enough out of town, where the bike/walking trail doesn't reach it. Traffic is fast moving by the one way entrance and exits. So look both ways when leaving.

This place offers full hooks up (water, sewer, electricity) with pull thru and back in sites,…read morecabins for rent, and tent camping. It is about 15 minutes away from Garden City and 15 minutes away from Bear Lake East. It is super close to Bear Lake North- it isn't on the water but the water is a 5 minute drive away. The parks charge an entrance fee- bring cash for the parks, no credit cards are accepted. There are paths to ride your motorized vehicles to the lake, and your bicycles. There is an extensive road for bicycles that is 45 miles long that is easily accessible from this park as well. The location is very open, and very quiet. Had it not been for the fires, the skies would be starry- unfortunately, the skies were covered from the ashy smoke drifting in from the Ca, Wa, and Or fires. We stayed in a premium back in site 15- it also had room for tent camping and came with a wood fire pit and three picnic benches. Why did I reserve such a large space? I don't know. My husband asked me the same thing- we enjoyed the space and the fire pit. The site was pretty level and easy to back our 29' (without the hitch, with it is 34') and we have slide outs on both sides (passenger and driver). The site was long enough to accommodate both trailer and our truck. They have communal showers and toilets. I only went in there to wash my hands. I noticed they have a dryer for use, paper towels, toilet seat covers, toilet paper and hand soap is provided by the owners for their guests. The showers are NOT free- they are coin operated (bring quarters) at $0.50 for 6 minutes. Very reasonable. There is a coin operated laundry room as well. I stuck to using our own bathroom inside our trailer because of Covid. I noticed a playground for kids, volleyball play area and a basketball court- good for kids to play. Check in time is 2 pm, check out is 11 am. We had some issues with our slide outs and didn't leave on time but the owners didn't give us grief- which was appreciated. Some parks can get very strict. This park is well maintained, lots of grassy areas- run by a nice family. It is also super close to the Minnetonka Caves! The trail to the caves is very scenic, with lots of trails to hike as well. I wish I knew in advance. We didn't have enough time because we only stayed one full night. The caves close for the season on Labor Day so if you're in town before then, I highly recommend that. It is also located close to Bear Lake State Park. The location is ideal for the north part of Bear Lake. Water is so beautiful. It was overcast so the turquoise color wasn't as prominent but I'm sure in the summer months you can really see the beautiful Caribbean of the west in it's full glory. We reserved online, but you can book it over the phone. The city of St. Charles has very a small town feel- lots of farms, horses, cows, and nice people. For those wondering about the measures taken for Covid- this town isn't really wearing or enforcing masks. For the record, when we visited in mid Sept, hardly any people. A lot of local restaurants were closed for the season. We visited during non peak times so social distancing was very easy to do. The cell reception was excellent- I have unlimited data with Verizon and streamed my shows and surfed the Internet with no problem. I didn't use the parks wifi so I can't comment on that. They do provide wifi for their guests though. We also brought our two fur babies. No official dog run, but lots of walking pathways to walk them on their leashes. We used our own doggie bags and threw in the main trash. Don't let your dogs do their business on the actual sites and tent area. I did not notice any breed restrictions here and they do not charge an extra fee. Just use your common sense and be a responsible pet owner. Overall, we enjoyed this quaint and quiet park.

Really nice atmosphere, tons of kids having fun. Decent sites with trees, full hookups…read more But only specific sites could have fires. The bathrooms were filthy, and the location wasn't optimal.
