When I asked a few questions, she responded with a noticeable attitude and seemed irritated. At the end of the conversation, I expressed that I didn't appreciate how I was treated. Regardless of personal circumstances, it's important to remain professional and respectful, especially when dealing with patients. I'm sharing this feedback because this kind of interaction is not acceptable! I hope this is addressed appropriately, whether through additional training or other action, as to be treated with respect. And of course, I immediately canceled the appointment. After being treated that way over the phone, there is no chance I would feel comfortable visiting the office in person. The owner responded to my review on Google saying I am "not a patient of record." That is correct, because I was calling as a new patient to schedule an appointment for my son. My review is specifically about how I was treated during that initial phone call. Being a new patient does not justify being spoken to rudely, which is why I chose not to proceed with the appointment.

As a result, we filed several complaints about his behavior and his sub-standard dentist practice. Once we realized Dr. Shawn Ganjian tried to scam us, we never followed through on his dental treatment plan. Dr. Shawn Ganjian explained our daughter had several urgent problems and we needed to act fast. Your daughter's "urgent problems" was a surprise because our previous family dentist explained the opposite--your daughter has excellent oral hygiene. Following the Dr. Shawn Ganjian visit, we made an appointment with our previous dentist and a neutral 3rd dentist office. Both dentists explained Dr. Shawn Ganjian treatment plan was inappropriate because your daughter has great oral health. If we followed through on Dr. Shawn Ganjian's suggestions, we would have created problems instead of improving our daughter's health. Why did Dr. Shawn Ganjian lie in his treatment plan? Both dentists believe Dr. Shawn Ganjian tried to extract more money from our insurance--insurance fraud. Upon entering the office, we found Dr. Shawn Ganjian sitting in his receptionist's chair with his arms folded and with an upset look--he was angry. We asked a few questions about the process and payments, but his responses were short, almost as if we annoyed him. After completing the initial paperwork, my daughter was called into the back room. I leaned over the desk and whispered to the receptionist: "Why is he upset?" She replied "He's always angry about something." That was the first sign Dr. Shawn Ganjian ran an unprofessional practice. Shortly after, we noticed his office was poorly maintained. Dr. Shawn Ganjian's office is filthy. First, we noticed chipped and broken chairs in the waiting room. Second, in the examination room, there was a brown-rusting metal cabinet to the right of the patient's chair. Third, also in the examining room, we noticed a thin layer of dirt around the rusting cabinet. Both the waiting area and examination rooms were dirty and needed to be cleaned. Avoid Dr. Shawn Ganjian's dentist practice. We went there out of convenience, but that was a mistake. Dr. Shawn Ganjian was dishonest, displayed aggressive behavior, and failed to keep his office clean. We don't recommend his practice; you should continue to research other healthcare providers.
