He is thorough, highly effective, proactive and above all he is focused on quality of care (physical and emotional). The first time I ever met him - before even looking in my mouth - he sat me down and quite simply asked me - what is important to you? What are your goals, aspirations that you want to achieve for your dental health? And then he JUST INTENTLY listened. After that he delivered !! When I first met him a decade ago, I had already worked with five other orthodontists who were all unsuccessful as managing the chronic bleeding, swelling and aggravation of my entire section of gums in the top six front teeth. So it was not really about cosmetics, it was about health and wellness. Within 9 months, not only did I have a whole new look that I never even imagined was possible but most importantly - my gums have not any swelling or bleeding in 10 years. Quite simply amazing. Within a year, I shifted my 75 year old mom over to Dr. Pappous care. And he has performed wonders with some very difficult issues. And he is made her quality of life immeasurably better. I am convinced that without Dr. Pappous that my mom would be struggling to eat given that she would not have her teeth or a workable alternative. Beyond the Doctor himself, his staff is also extremely high caliber.
