Living out in the country and having an autoimmune disorder that was stirred up within 24hrs of the Mohs procedure, I have confidence in believing I contracted Covid along with a staph infection from the procedure. Also, having had surgical procedures before, I don't believe the site preparation was adequate--leading to the substantial staph infection that apparently elevated my heart rate. Cannot recommend, especially for Covid cautious people. Three weeks out and still recovering from the Covid + staph combo punch. read more

I've been going here for many years! The care providers I've seen have all been wonderful and the nursing/medical assistant staff equally so. Front desk is always helpful and nice too. Super easy location with lots of parking! Providers really care for their patients and do everything possible to treat the issue you came in for. Very attentive and respectful of your privacy as well. Never had to wait in the waiting room more than 15 mins! Only complaint is getting in quickly for urgent appointments. Most appointments are available within a week, but if you have a painful acne that needs an injection, I've never gotten a same day or next day appointment. Sometimes they might squeeze you in within 2-3 days, but that just shows how busy and popular they are. I mostly don't mind and have gone to urgent care if they can't accommodate me for any super urgent medical issues. I don't plan on ever leaving this practice as long as they keep accepting my insurance. They are quality providers with wonderful bedside manners that really care! read more

When I got there the receptionist asked me to fill out the new patient forms and gave me the iPad at the end of the form, I was asked to do a review. I didn't do the review and I thought, I just walked in and they asked me to do a review, how desperate were they for that! Anyway, I gave the iPad back to the receptionist; Surprisingly, she completed the survey for me by giving themselves 5 starts! When I asked her why she did that, her response was," Don't worry about it." Not happy at all. It was a waste of money and time. They don't offer any type of treatment in the office. No one will call you for follow-up even when you have blood work done. No one will send the result to you nor to your physician. The doctor treated my wort, and it was so painful, she burned me through my skin and now I have a big scar on my arm, I had that type of treatment done many times and I didn't even feel it. read more

I love my PA Dave at this provider. He always answers my questions and hears me out. This follow up visit after surgery I had several questions and concerns mainly about the stitches that had not dissolved and appeared as small white bumps. Dave told me to keep massaging the site and sometimes it takes up to a year for them to resolve. Nope I told him. Not waiting a year. We agreed we on 6 months to come back and take another look which is fine with me. He pointed out an area that might be scar tissue under the skin and encouraged me to massage there with more frequency. I will follow his advice and see how things progress. I've been here twice to see Dr. Bair. I was initially hesitant because of their medical spa (I have personal misgivings about these practices I won't go into) and was afraid I'd be pressured to use those services when I was there strictly for medical dermatology. That turned out to be an unfounded fear, however, and I've received no pressure to try any cosmetic dermatology. I've been to 3 dermatologists in the last year and Dr. Bair is the best I've seen, possibly ever (I've had my skin condition since I was a baby -- I've been to MANY dermatologists in my life). She was compassionate while still being professional. I felt very comfortable talking to her and feel like she wants to be a TEAM MEMBER rather than trying to dictate my life. I also like that her M.A., Summer, stays in the room and takes notes, I feel like that's really thorough. The front desk staff is super kind and accommodating, too. I use a name other than my legal name in every day life and I told them this and I've only been called my chosen name there. Saw the PA in the Fort Collins location for a skin lesion on my forearm that would not heal. My primary care doctor had been treating me with various medications without success so I was referred out to a dermatologist. The office visit was satisfactory and the PA performed a shave biopsy and told me the office would call with results in 7- 10 days. Fast forward 2.5 weeks, and I am still without a return phone call for biopsy results. Requested to speak with the office manager and my request was ignored. After 5 phone calls without a single return call, I am going to another practice in Denver. They clearly could care less about patient care as there is zero follow up post-visit. When you are waiting on a biopsy result for potential skin cancer you would think they would at least return a phone call. read more

Everything went fine. The staff was super friendly and very professional. The first timer questions and paperwork was easier than most places. My only problem is medical professionals that ask you to be 15 minutes early to check in, and then are late seeing you. It was super busy in there and they all apologized for the wait. I have been so impressed with the skill of Dr. Holly McCoppin and the kindness of staff. I have had two squamous cell lesions removed, one from my lip - an area which is potentially disfiguring. Even a slightly irregular lip can seriously affect one's looks. But my lip looks like the normal me! I recently asked a dermatologist I met socially in Boulder what he thought of my "lip job," and he remarked that it was excellent work and told me how difficult lips are. If I could give 0 stars I would. My apt got rescheduled and then when I showed up on the day they rescheduled it they told me I didn't actually have an apt with them. I waited 30 mins for them to try and squeeze me in. I saw Dr Bair and she was super short with me and rude and so was her nurse. I felt like they didn't care an ounce about any of my concerns. She saw me for less than 5 mins and then rushed on. I then saw her and 3 nurses just chatting in the hallway on my way out. Super unprofessional. I will never be back. read more

I had a horrible experience. 1.Katie the PA did not know what was actually going on with my skin, instead she suggested expensive medications that made no sense (I saw another Doctor and he was shocked at what she suggested). She threw terms, and jargon around. Didn't take the time to actually look at my problem area. Didn't address any of my concerns. 2. The check out woman was exceptionally rude, so much so I believe she enjoys being mean. 3. Took me two weeks for someone to answer the phone to even make an appointment.I would say go somewhere else. Waste of time, waste of money. I don't want anyone to have a bad experience. Medical issues are hard enough to deal with, having mean doctors, and receptionists should never be a problem. I really enjoyed PA David Seitz here but unfortunately I decided I had to find a new dermatology office due to the office staff. One they would only write my a prescription to a mail in place which ended up being very expensive. Then when I had to cancel my appointment I left a message. They then claimed they never got the message and I was a no call no show. When I asked the lady how I was suppose to get ahold of them if they don't get messages and I work 12s she rudely dismissed me. After that I decided I'd be finding a new place. read more

They cancelled my previous appointment when I called 4 minutes after my appointment start time, telling them I was stuck in traffic and 2 minutes away. I'm now here for my rescheduled exam. It has been 31 minutes since my appointment was supposed to start and I still haven't seen the doctor. Interesting. read more

The girl checking me in rolled her eyes at me when I gave her my insurance card and she said you need a referral to be seen here. I feel like Sheena and Ashley H. really took the time to get to know my son and answered our questions completely. We didn't feel like we were rushed out the door. I sent an email requesting an appointment at 8am not really expecting a call back till maybe later in the afternoon or even the next day. But I was pleasantly surprised when I got a call back within a couple of hours. The lady who helped me, Anne, not only explained the whole process to me but was able to schedule my appointment on the day that I needed it, she helped me to make sure that their office was covered by my insurance, and she also walked me through how to print off paperwork so that I could be ahead of the game when I go in for my appointment. EXTREMELY rude front desk staff--two of them made a snide comment about me, followed by snarky laughter, when I made a mistake checking in. Did they not think I could hear them ridiculing me? I work in a business where I expect my staff to greet our customers immediately when them come in, to be pleasant, cheerful, and to offer whatever help they can as soon as they can so our customers never feel lost or confused. We'd never treat a patient this rudely EVER. Shame on them. During the very short exam (it took me longer to undress and robe up than the actual exam) the doctor referred to me as "Dear" numerous times, like I was an addled elderly person (which I'm not) and dismissed any concerns I had with breezy nonchalance. Talk about condescension. My vet is kinder and pays more attention to my cat's health than this doctor did with me. I was very upset after this appointment and felt stupid somehow for being dumb enough to go there and be treated like that in the first place. Worst place ever. Do NOT go here. Inexperienced dr.'s and PA's can't diagnose anything. Hard to get refills, lengthy waits for test results, try to sell you their products out front, no check up phone calls, push expensive Drug rep medications with no knowledge of other meds. I saw Fran last weekend for microneedling/ micropenning and she is a fantastic aesthetician. She is thorough, knowledgeable and friendly, and it was a great experience. I'd had this procedure before in Seattle at a medi-spa and it doesn't seem to be as widely available in Northern Colorado. Coming from a medical family and a health practitioner myself, I am fully aware of medical office protocol, proper office procedure and attentive reception. None of these factors are practiced at this so-called dermatological facility. Rudeness abounds, due dilligence is completely absent and paperwork procedures are inconsistent or incomplete at best. There is just no professionalism or sincere caring for a patient's condition. They seem to be just putting in there time. I waited 25 minutes in the examining room. There wasn't even a close inspection let alone a thorough examination of my skin rash. She peeked at me from two feet away where from where I gestered the extent of the rash was, and she merely speculated it could be eczema. No shit, Sherlock. I couldv'e made that assumption on my own. She took 5 min. At the most. Gees...what do they teach these conceeded little snots? Certainly not proper bedside professionalism. No communication, no questions, no inquiry of things I may have been exposed to, etc. She merely prescribed an ointment and left the room.... I don't do guessing and trials of obscure medication for which I may be allergic to. Her stylish outfit, however, and perfect makeup told me more about her than any exhibit of dermatological intelligence or expertise, due to the fact that her giant closeup ad in The Estes Park News EVERY week, stating World Class DERMATOLOGY, is a complete fabrication of her qualified ability, I can tell you that. Upon moving to Colorado we needed a dermatologist for our son's acute acne condition. I called to make an appointment and the receptionist couldn't even give me directions without sounding snide. We went ahead and continued with the appointment only to wait 45 minutes each time we went; watch their front office staff feed their faces with lunch behind the desk; ride handcarts around in the back office within client view; no "hello, how's your day"; and the PC didn't even take the time to really look at my son's acne. We are now told his medication dosages were not appropriate and our new derm immediately took action on my son's back i.e.) overdue needed extractions. Another example: the nurse called to halt medications for my son, the PC called to tell me it was OK to continue and when I called back the nurse argued that he should stop administering the medication. Appalling unprofessional office and I don't recommend them to anyone. Call Ft. Collins Skin Care Clinic. They have derms available here in Loveland too. read more

Went in to the Fort Collins office to see about getting something to help with my acne. I arrived early to fill out paperwork as I was a new patient. I had an appointment at 11:15, did not get called back until 11:45. Once the Dr. entered my room at 11:50, he never introduced himself and just started asking me why I was there. I told him I wanted to get my acne under control and he immediately started explaining Acutane as he saw it as the only course of action for my acne. He then proceeded to tell me about it for the next 30 minutes, in the mean time I was unable to get a word in edgewise to tell him I was not interested in that treatment plan. He then told me that I needed to get on birth control before I could even start the treatment, which I did not even want. When I was able to get a word in, I told him I did not want to take all those pills and follow the treatment plan of Acutane and asked if I would be able to get an ointment/cream for my face. He shut me down so fast and brought up Acutane once again. When he was getting ready to leave the room he told me the PA would be in to get a urine sample from me to check to see if I was pregnant because that is the first step in getting on Acutane. He did not listen to me when before I said I wanted a different treatment other than Acutane, which I thought was extremely rude. It felt as if he got some sort of cut from prescribing Acutane and he was not about to take "no" for an answer. After he left the room I got up and left because I did not feel safe having him as my Dr. nor did I want to pursue any other treatment plan from this office. read more
