An absolutely dangerous person on the road with no regard for anyone's safety. Engaging and chasing other drivers, brake checking every two seconds, not letting people pass, spraying cars with debris, coming inches from other cars...twice. And then playing cute and waving. And stupid enough to do it with his business name plastered on his work van. I would never hire this guy and I hope this review helps him wave goodbye to any potential customers. On Monday July 14th 2025, I had an experience with a Idealglass van on I 84. I am not sure who was driving the van but who ever it is Drives like an absolute A hole. If I was was not with my wife in the car I would have followed him where ever he was going and beat him within an inch of his life. He should not be driving any where He is a dangerous tailgater with no regard for anyones safety, he ran up on me at about 80 mph and proceeded to follow about a foot off my bumper. after I moved over to get out of his way he intentionally swerved into my lane multiple times. Later in traffic I encountered him again and he swerved into my lane again attempting to push me off the road. If he was was one of my employees he would be on the unemployment line. read more

This morning as I was driving to work I experienced an incident with a man driving the Ideal Glass van. We were at the 95 split where the two lanes merge, even though this man was behind me he tried to get in front of me after the lanes merged. I beeped at him because he came close to hitting my vehicle. He then proceeded to pull up next to me so he could yell at me, he backed off and then pulled up beside me again to yell at me some more, calling me names. I don't know if he is illiterate and can't read signs or he is just not that intelligent but it only takes commonsense to realize that we were all merging, and trying to force your way in front of someone after the lanes have merged is wrong. He was rude and a bully. I would never consider hiring your company for your services based on this experience. read more

I was driving home and merging onto Rt. 95 when I was met very aggressively by an Ideal Glass van. The same exact one pictured. I was originally in front of the van and then suddenly I was almost driven off the road. I beeped and was met with a barrage of middle fingers and slurs. At the end of his rant he made a gun gesture with his hand and said "I'd go right between your eyes". At that point I knew I was dealing with an absolute psychopath. Work van almost rear ended me on the highway and proceeded to ride the back of my car from a lane that was not a drivable lane! I called the company and talked to the owner only to be called a liar. The owner asked if I was a "cop" and laughed me off like I was nothing. For a company to treat anyone like this, never mind myself, was very I opening and I definitely wouldn't do business with a company who can't only keep their employees accountable but treat someone the way I was treated. read more

A top-notch experience, starting with Lynn in the front office who had my glass replacement appointment setup promptly in working with my insurance company. Gary came to my house to replace my windshield. I had an unopened box of Airpod Pros on my front seat. I went to retrieve them while he was working on the car and they weren't there. I asked him if he moved them to replace the glass and instantly got defensive and angry. My camera shows him grabbing them and putting them in his van. He's a THIEF!!! read more

Turning left onto Rt 1 North in one of two turning lanes. Ideal Auto Van cut me off from other lane so I pressed my horn to alert that I was there. He slammed on his breaks, presumably so I would rear end him and proceeded to flip me off out the window twice. All over a little beep of the horn! A large rock cracked my windshield and since I had only 11,000 miles on my vehicle I reached out to the dealership to see if they could replace the windshield glass. I was concerned that there were electronics mounted to the windshield and that they might not be properly replaced by a glass replacement company. The dealership assured me they had been dealing with Gary at Ideal Glass for years and recommended him highly. They were correct! The company handled all the insurance paperwork and Gary replaced the glass with an original equipment windshield. It was obvious that Gary was a pro as he quickly installed the new windshield even saving two stickers I was sure I would have to replace. I hope I don't need to replace any windshields in the near term but if I do I will definitely Ideal! read more

Gary came to replace my SUV windshield today, and it was great. He was able to get an original equipment manufacturer (OEM) front windshield approved, scheduling was prompt and responsive, and the replacement was fast, easy and really well-done. Can't ask for anything more. It's also worth noting that Gary is an owner-operator - you're dealing right with the company owner, who also does the job, not a random tech from some big company.
