I got to the part where I had to input which type of automobile I needed a new windshield on, and Toyota Sienna wasn't an option. Seriously, how can one of the top-selling minivans and the #1 rated minivan by Edmunds somehow not exist as an option on Safelite's website? So I had to call and schedule it over the phone. And it took a lot longer than it should have. After each question the customer service rep asked me, I'd answer and then there would be a several minute wait. When the appointment was finally scheduled, I was told that there would be a several week wait because of the popularity of the Sienna. Then a week later, I received an email saying that the replacement windshield was in, and when I called the number provided in the email, the rep told me that it was a glitch in their system and that they still didn't have the part. So, for all those people upset at Safelite, I feel you. And yet I'm giving them 5 stars? The reason is that the next email I received a few weeks later told me to choose an appointment time because the glass had arrived. This time, I was able to do schedule it online, and when I went there, they were wonderful. A rock thrown up by a passing 18-wheeler had shattered the back quarter glass on the driver's side in several places, and there were glass pieces everywhere. The service techs at Safelite were courteous, started working on my car as soon as I arrived, and did a fantastic job of thoroughly cleaning everywhere, removing the shattered glass, and replacing it. And I was in and out of there in a shade over 30 minutes. I just went to the Toyota dealership where I bought the Sienna, and when I explained to them what had happened with Safelite, they were actually surprised that I was able to get the glass replaced so quickly. They said that sometimes it takes several months for them to get the replacement glass, and then they distribute them to companies such as Safelite. So, in the end, Safelite in Quincy did a great job. The website problems aren't their fault.

Received email at 7:00 AM on date selected, informing me that tech would arrive between 8 and 12. No further contact, so I left for work at 1:00. Tech called at 1:30 asking if I wanted windshield done. I called company and could not ever reach a live person. Don't waste your time. Go to one of the few remaining local shops so if there's an issue, you can deal direct. Safelite is building a monopoly based on a related company handling insurance claims and steering everyone to their shops and remote service.

To everyone out there not going through insurance know when you set an appointment you not going to be home make sure the are paid first. please read the owners reply to all negative reviews, you see they never take responsibility. I have used this company before and was very satisfied with their work, which is why this experience was extremely disappointing. I scheduled a glass replacement for Monday, but later realized I would be out of town for five days. When the office asked if I had a garage due to rain, I left my car in the garage unlocked with the garage opener and keys so the work could be completed in my absence. The problem isn't the payment policy -- I understand that payment is required before service. The issue is that I was never informed ahead of time that payment needed to be made prior to the appointment. Despite knowing I wouldn't be at the house, a technician was sent who apparently wasn't aware no one would be home or that payment hadn't been processed. If I had been told in advance, I would have paid immediately and avoided this situation. Instead, I was called while out of town and told they couldn't replace the glass until payment was made. When I contacted the office to resolve it, I was met with attitude as if I were the problem, even though the miscommunication was clearly on their side. One of the owners said he would call me back -- that call never happened. This experience reflects poor communication and customer service and completely overshadowed the positive experience I had in the past. I am very disappointed and hope the company takes steps to ensure better communication for future customers.

I didn't want to have to miss work. Christina was so accommodating, checking to see if glass was available before I had my insurance company switch things over to Tiny & Sons. She was able to get me on the schedule today & called me when glass arrived so that I didn't have to spend extra time waiting around. She is kind & professional! My car was ready in about an hour. I would highly recommend Tiny & Sons Glass! Very happy with my new window!
