Unprofessional is the nicest thing I have to say about Mila. The night before my family's scheduled…read morephoto shoot she e-mailed a contract stating it needed to be signed or she would cancel the session. The problem was that there were several conflicting statements. Most troubling is the "Privacy" and "Copyright" sections of her contract. Signing this contract meant signing away any privacy of my family's images or copying the images to make things like holiday cards (which pretty much defeated the point of a family picture). I highly recommend anyone seeking Mila's services read her contract carefully in advance. Some of the inconsistencies for my situation are listed below: 1. Half of the session fees needed to be paid 7 days prior to the photo shoot which was impossible since she sent the contract the day before the shoot. 2. She verbally said it was okay to have a picture as your desktop background but the contract stated no pictures could be on your desktop or phone. 3. In the "payment" section it was clear that she did not honor the Groupon $200 worth of services, she only applied the purchased amount of $58. The session was scheduled in the time frame in which the Groupon was valid. I spoke with Mila and asked for these items to be amended before signing the contract but she refused and canceled the photo shoot. I explained that my family members had arranged work schedules and had traveled for this photo shoot but it did not make a difference to her. Unprofessional is the nicest thing I have to say about Mila.

We first met Tim at a neighborhood Starbucks to get a good look at his work from start to finish. He was able to provide weddings in full and not just some of his top shots. This provided me with the confidence I needed to book him. We drove home from the meeting and we're like giddy kids that had just met a new best friend. We went ahead a day or so later and signed the contract via email. Needless to say, we were extremely satisfied with the level of professionalism we received from Tim through all of our communications. Moving on to the ceremony and reception. Tim and Bethany arrived to our contract locations on time and once they got to work, you barely even noticed they were there. But looking through my pictures, I was so happy with all the little details they caught in my home, my hotel room and during the ceremony and reception. I was in tears (of happiness) at how special they made my wedding day simply by capturing some of the silly, fun and sweet things that happened that day. I have to mention this, and I hope she'll laugh...At one point before the reception, Bethany even hooked me up with some of HER bobby-pins and post ceremony, helped scrub a small mud stain or two out of my dress. Bethany-- you should think about being a day of coordinator--you were so much better than mine! lol I kid you not, my entire family and friends are still talking about how sweet and nice Tim and Bethany were. I promise that this will be my photographer of choice for any future needs as well as the ONE and ONLY photographer I recommend to friends and family. We didn't know what to expect going in, but it was such a fun day and the pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous! He seriously thinks of everything and takes some of the most beautiful photos I have ever seen. He captured our happiness and excitement perfectly at the time of our engagement. Organizing and planning for the wedding day with Tim was also extremely easy, he is super responsive and easy to work with! Also, aside from amazing photos, early in our planning process he gave us some vendor recommendations - many of which we ended up also working with who were equally as amazing. For the main event, our wedding, Tim and Bethany truly went above and beyond. We were working with a tight timeline which included a first look with the groom, my dad, and my bridesmaids as well as two different getting ready locations, and a large wedding party. None of this phased them at all - our timeline was managed perfectly while still getting all the photos we wanted. They also helped us pick the perfect locations for our photos - the Ambassador balcony for our first look and a park for additional pictures that allowed us to be by the lake/city, and still close enough to the ceremony location. Tim and Bethany were also snapping pictures when we didn't even know it! We have so many special photos of memories we didn't even expect, like crossing the street to the church with my sister holding my dress and my sister helping my mom with her dress.
