Never used any benefit from the free one or the one that just renewed. They REFUSE to refund me. You are scamming people with your fine print and give no warning of your auto renewal. My wife went in for laser removal of sun spots on her neck. The technician told her it would be uncomfortable so she pushed through the pain. She was left with deep burns that left scars on her neck. We contacted the manager who blew us off for a month or so. We retuned to the Stamford location and tried to discuss this in person. Brandy the manager stated that it was her manger we needed to speak with. After several emails and phone calls over several months it is very apparent that they are not interested to discuss this with us. Very expensive - and very effective. I've had laser hair removal treatments before and Ideal Image is at least 5x the cost. 1 star for price point. But - like I said - I've had laser hair removal treatment before and I didn't get the results I hoped for. I've had these areas treated 15x in the past by two different laser practitioners. Same areas treated by electrolysis by 4 different places - probably 75-100 electrolysis sessions in all. Over the years, I've easily spent $15k on hair removal for this one area (not including IDeal Image) - with very little results. On Dec 1st, I spoke to a salesperson and agreed on a set of services, to be performed in the Stamford, CT office. She led me to initial some online forms and provide my credit card information, before discussing timing of an appointment. When it came time to schedule an appointment, she said the appointment calendar was disabled, and that someone from the Stamford office would get in touch with me. No one called me, and so I called them several times and was finally able to get ahold of someone, who explained they had staffing issues, something about Covid19 maybe, that their schedule would be frozen until Dec 14th. I called Dec 14th, they said their calendar would be still frozen until Dec 21st. I called Dec 22nd, they said nope, still can't make appointments. My credit card had meanwhile been charged in full on Dec 1st. I was able to receive one treatment by traveling up to the North Haven, CT location - however this is 50 miles away so not really an acceptable work-around, and they seemed to have a limited schedule as well. Apparently, what's going on in the Stamford, CT location is that NO ONE WORKS THERE! I also learned that in general, across locations, many nurses work there part time as a side gig - this means appointments are limited and staff is inexperienced. Eventually I gave up and just wanted a refund for the unused services I paid for. I am not just upset that they can't make an appointment, but have also lost trust in them and am fearful of my safety due to their unprofessional behavior. I spoke to a customer service rep who said I would be refunded but that a manager would need to call me back to initiate the refund. No one ever called back. I called a week later, was told a manager would call me, and still no one called back. I called a few days later and was finally put through to a manager who said they never give refunds ever. She said we have a contract - but this doesn't make sense since THEY are the ones in breach of contract by not having the ability to provide the agreed upon services. First and foremost-- the front reception staff was super nice and I felt welcomed for my first visit at this location. I have been attending Ideal Image since 2016. This is the 4th location I have been to due to frequent moving with being military and attending grad school. This location is by far the WORST experience I have had at an Ideal Image. I'm not one to complain, as I usually brush things off as I do not like confrontation. Long story short-- the nurse had zero patient/customer manners. She was very rude and belittling/demeaning. Again I'm not one to complain or leave a bad review-- but asking if I know that there was a copay (which I did as I've been doing the lifetime treatments) and then asked if I had it--I was floored, as I thought that was beyond rude. I have never had any payment issues in the past so it was totally unwarranted. There were other things said, but I'll leave it at that and that I left in tears. Again I have been doing these treatments since 2016 in different locations across the US (VA, CO, and TX) through each season of the year and I've never had the issues/experience I had today. Purchased a pkg this past summer... continual problems with their monthly payments on their end so I Paid the whole pkg in Full... only had 2 appt. continual cancellations on their end..my next appt was suppose to be 10/30/20 they cancelled me said they would get back to me to reschedule they didn't. Finally early November they gave me appt. for 01/09/21 and now I get a call they want to cancel this one... Booking appointments is an extremely difficult process as despite their huge facility, each time I've gone, there has only been one practitioner. On top of that, once booked, about half of my appointments had to be adjusted - either they were cancelled or rescheduled for inconvenient times by them. Additionally, after over a year and half of going here, the treatment has barely been effective due to the long gaps in between appointments. If that wasn't enough, I have had many appointments cancelled on me after being told I was "all set," and being told that they can no longer see me that day once I have already arrived. Well, here I am with about 80% of my hair grown back and I can't get ahold of anyone to complain and get this fixed. I helped my mother with the consultation over Zoom. She made her appointment paid and before she even went to her appointment they were already calling her to reschedule. She told them she couldn't but they took her just to tell her they couldn't help her, that she needed to go to a dermatologist. It's been 3 months and she still hasn't gotten her refund of over $1000. We been battling with them calling , emailing and going to the office and still no refund.
