We used these movers for this move and it went as smooth as possible. And it was raining on our moving day. The reason I am taking the time to write this review is because they went out of their way to get us back some shelves that got accidentally left on their truck that I never thought we'd see again. They were easy to get a hold of and came back to drop them off for us and were very apologetic they were left. I appreciated their effort to contact us and return them. I will NEVER use this moving company again!!! My sofa was damaged, 2 lamps were broken plus glassware, and it cost me $700 to move with an 11 mile radius!! And on top of that I was 8 months pregnant, and felt like I was being taken advantage of!! I only went with this company because I thought it was the cheapest, and I still came out paying more!!! I was looking for a mover who could provide multiple services in one trip, and quickly. I needed to move several small pieces of furniture from an assisted living facility as well as a self storage unit, deliver all to my house, then remove and dispose of several pieces of furniture from there. After searching and reading the reviews, these guys did indeed seem "ideal" for my needs. And they did not disappoint. I called and spoke to Camille who was very kind and helpful and got me on the schedule for the next day. They showed up and made all 3 stops and were done within 2 hours, in the pouring rain I might add. Allen and William were Very courteous and professional, and willing to go the extra mile to provide excellent customer service. I couldn't be happier. Leonard and his team are truly the BEST! They helped us in a 2 part move and were so professional, hard working, and honest with us through it all. We have some very nice antiques and art and never once was I fearful that they were in any danger of being damaged. Leonard was there through it all and made sure it was all done to his very high standards. He is just so honest and kind, all the while being very competitive with his pricing. I was referred to Ideal Delivery by another interior designer that was pleased with their services. I had a very important, and large delivery to schedule so I called Leonard at Ideal. This delivery involved pick up from 2 locations and delivery to my client's home which had a very steep driveway. Leonard made a special trip out to see the driveway and determined his big truck couldn't make it up the steep incline (I kid you not--this driveway is unreal!) Instead of saying he couldn't do it, he added extra guys to the crew and they CARRIED EVERYTHING UP from the street!! It was unbelievable! Couches, club chairs, huge rugs, dining room table and breakfront--big items that these guys treated with kid gloves. I would highly recommend Ideal Delivery for any of your moving needs--they will move one piece or a whole house--and they do it with ease and a smile on their face! read more

Because I had such good experiences the first two times I used Ideal, I called Leonard to move me again - this time across town. I was disappointed that he could not move me on the date I needed due to his other commitments, but he recommended another mover that he uses when he can't do it. Kalil and his crew did an excellent job with what was not an easy move. I had a few very heavy pieces and they had to move them & all of my other stuff down a flight of stairs at my old place and up several stairs outside and inside at my new place. They did a great job - very professional and they kept going despite the heat and being challenged by the stairs and heavy pieces. Thank you once again, Leonard - you're the best. Needed one piece of furniture (a couch from Craigslist) moved about 10 miles, called a half a dozen places, no one (including some of the highest rated movers on yelp, were willing to help. Idea Delivery were more than accommodating and moved my single piece for a completely reasonable price. If you are looking for someone to help you move or deliver a craigslist purchase or anything for that matter, I couldn't recommend these guys any more than I do. Awesome communication and speed. Very disappointed. I called about having a piece of furniture picked up from a store and delivered to my house. They were supposed to call me back about scheduling and I never heard from them. I called IDEAL Moving and Delivery yesterday (but have used them before). There's a reason we look to them first for our moving needs. They are prompt, reasonable, personable and professional, polite and hard working! Leonard and his team answered our short notice call to move our household items from storage (the same furniture, etc. that they'd moved to the storage facility when we relocated temporarily to another part of the country several years ago). The best moving company I've ever worked with and I have moved a lot. I don't know anyone who likes moving but these guys made it so easy and the cost was reasonable. They sent four guys which it was amazing how much faster it went and a truck. They wrapped our furniture at no extra charge and they charge by the hour not by the item which makes such a difference because your not trying to negotiate for extra items to be moved day of. The place I was moving into is brand-new it has just been painted and I figured I was going to have to repaint the narrow entry hallway but they seriously didn't even brush against it once. It also was on the fourth floor and the guys were so fast so polite even though I knew those stairs were brutal. I am seriously impressed and will never use another moving company again read more

Leonard with Ideal Moving is an excellent mover and delivery man. I needed items moved from a store to my house about 5 miles away. He was responsive and on time. He did exactly what he said he would with a smile on his face! He was easy to work with and went the extra mile to make sure the furniture was inspected and adjusted before he left. He even said he would be able to assemble some boxed pieces if I needed him to. He did an inspection of the items at the store on his own time and then gave a fair and reasonable quote. read more

I was recommended to this company by my local Home Goods store as I needed to move furniture from the store where I recently purchased to my nearby house. I called Thursday afternoon and they delivered my furniture in a timely and efficient manner by lunch time the next day! I even had to call and rush them as my deadline got moved up and they were very accommodating and willing to ensure they met my deadline and never complained! They didn't offer insurance but nothing got damaged and they were the fastest, hardest-working, friendliest guys I've ever moved with. I will definitely use them again (and only them)! Leonard was able to accommodate my move on fairly short notice during the busy week between Christmas and New Years. His team arrived promptly at their promised time, and got to work. There was no standing around or stalling trying to extend the time I would pay for and the team took very good care of my things. Not a single thing was broken or hugely damaged, which is a first while moving for me. The moving team was friendly, efficient and professional, and their price was fair and reasonable.
