I am filing this complaint against Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding the loss of my personal property, poor service, property damage, and the company's failure to adequately resolve the issue. In September 2025, I hired Pack It Up Moving & Storage to move my belongings from Calhoun, Georgia. To help reduce costs and make the move more efficient, I personally packed many of my items in advance. Every box was clearly labeled on the outside according to its contents. When the movers loaded my belongings, the truck was completely full. In fact, some items could not fit on the truck, and the rear doors barely closed due to the amount of property being transported. The company then stored my belongings for approximately two months while I searched for a home to purchase. After purchasing a home in November 2025, I scheduled delivery of my belongings. The first scheduled delivery date was November 24, 2025. The company failed to show up and had to reschedule. Delivery was eventually rescheduled for November 26, 2025. When the movers arrived, I immediately noticed that the truck was not nearly as full as it had been when my belongings were originally loaded. As unloading began, I noticed that my e-bike was missing. When I questioned the movers, they claimed that I never had an e-bike. I then contacted the company's office, where I was told that my e-bike had been left near the loading ramp. This directly contradicted what the delivery crew had told me. I asked the movers for an inventory list so that I could verify that all of my boxes had been delivered. I was told that they did not have a list. As unloading continued, I began noticing additional missing items. I waited until all items had been removed from the truck before conducting a thorough review. The company also delivered a mattress that did not belong to me. I instructed the movers to take it back with them. In addition, my refrigerator was damaged during the move, and damage was caused to a wall in my home. I was forced to pay for repairs to both. After unpacking, I discovered numerous missing items, including but not limited to: Plastic Sealer Two Heat Press Machines Cricut Machine Reindeer Head Decoration Ring Doorbell Bissell Vacuum Drone Two Sets of Bar Tools Blink Indoor Camera Laser Measuring Device Exercise Bike Two Power Tools I estimate that at least ten boxes remain missing. The items listed above represent only some of the higher-value property that was never returned. I repeatedly contacted Pack It Up Moving & Storage regarding my missing belongings. Approximately six months later, the company located my exercise bike and two TV mounts. However, the majority of my missing property has never been recovered. The owner has offered only $400 in compensation despite the fact that the missing property is valued at well over $3,000. This estimate does not even include every missing item, as I intentionally focused on the higher-value property to simplify the claim. I am extremely dissatisfied with the company's handling of this matter. My belongings were supposedly stored together in a secured vault, yet numerous items disappeared and only a small portion was recovered six months later. The company has shown little concern for the significant financial loss and inconvenience I have experienced. I have been forced to spend my own money replacing items that should never have gone missing. I am requesting that Pack It Up Moving & Storage provide fair compensation for the missing property and fully address the losses and damages caused during this move. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to consumers who value the safety and security of their belongings. read more

This moving company is scam and unprofessional. After several conversations and explaining my current situation before their service. I let them know I'm on budget. They sent two movers to my property, used boxes and materials that cost $500 plus more than the services offered and threatened me to pay right now or will call the police on me. After speaking to Kyle agreed to bring down the cost and paid what I'm bale to. This is insane to have people like these in business. I will report them to Better Business Bureau for such business practices. read more

I worked with this company twice. the first time was fine. apparently there are 2 groups or 2 teams and you better hope you get the good team or you are looking at a group of 3 young immature adults who will break your items, damage your floors with their hand trucks and not care one tiny bit as they dump your belongings anywhere! Pros Movers were quick and professional Cons Their groupon deal is a scam, dont use it. When i came across their groupon deal i read the fine print and still thought i was getting a good deal. They were about $100 cheaper than my regular movers. However with service fees and packing materials, they ended up being almost $150 MORE than my regular movers. I was livid! Please understand. Im a seasoned mover. When they showed up to my 2 bedroom apt, I had already broken everything down and located everything in the livingroom. They only moved my big furniture, oh also, i paid for 3 movers for 3 hours and they only sent two. I didnt get a discount for that either. NEVER again!! read more

I purchased a deal via Groupon for $169, three hours, two movers. Sounds great right? However, a week later when I contacted the company to make a reservation, I was charged an additional $230 of additional fees. Maybe this company outside of Groupon is a good company, but it puts a bad taste in my mouth when a company uses a bait and switch approach disguised as a deal. Based on this alone, I can never use this company again. Give me upfront fees and expenses any day. read more

Richard was very friendly and helpful during the whole moving process. Good communication and one of the best prices I could find for a full move which included packing and moving. The workers were all very friendly and courteous to us the entire time. These guys worked without stopping on our move day or taking any breaks. These guys worked very hard for us. They also gave us a flat rate so there were no surprises when it was time to settle up. Very reasonable rate as well. read more

We acquired this moving company to move our furniture for 4 hour total starting at 8am. They came two hours late, stating they got lost. They were careless in moving, putting holes, dents and scratches to our walls, ceilings, trims, wooden hand rails, newel posts, hardwood floors that they covered up with carton after they did damage and door frames. Me and my wife warned them numerous time to stop banging with our furniture and to pickup things, not to drag it but they didn't care. One guy was pressing his sweaty body against the walls every time he carried something, no matter of the weight of the furniture so it must had been on purpose. They made comments like "What cheap a** walls you have". When they were ready to drive to the second house to unload, they waited until we left and probably wanted to "get lost" for another two hours but we waited around the corner until they pulled out and got behind them. They noticed us so they signaled for us to go in front of the truck and lead them. When we arrived to the second house, only two workers were in the truck, other guy left for lunch so I assisted them in unloading so they don't charge me for more time. At the end and few scratches at the new house I asked the main person to go back with me and fix the damage because the house needed to go on the market next day. He refused and offered $75 off the bill. I said you can put that but I don't know how much will damage cost and I will ask a professional to come and fix it and I will call your office after it is done since you are insured. He didn't say anything and they left. I have fixed the damage and called them numerous times and left voicemails but they never returned my calls. Mr. Richard Grant called me yesterday after I emailed their insurance company and said that they gave me $75 and that is all. Cost of the repairs after them were in thousands of dollars. Never use these movers if you care about your belongings. I hope this review helps someone who will try to hire them in the future and keep them away from this company. read more

I had put out a request for movers on Yelp and received many responses and quotes. I read several Yelp reviews and decided to pursue a mover that wasn't necessarily the least expensive but rather had high marks in performance and customer service. Our experience with Pack It Up started with a phone call from Jaquavia. She was very helpful and explained their process of having us estimate our inventory to give me a final quote. In addition, she told me that Yelp customers receive a 10% discount. On the day of our move, they gave me a courtesy call when they were on their way. The two men arrived on time and were extremely nice and hard working. Our apartment was on the second floor but it was a long corridor to the stairs and then out to the truck. And to make matters worse, it was pouring down rain. The guys had a great attitude and were very careful with all of our items. After the truck was unloaded, they placed a call to Jaquavia and put me on the phone for her to make sure that I was pleased with everything and take my final payment. She was, again, very friendly and seemed genuinely interested in my satisfaction. Plus she used the term "my pleasure" many times and that is always huge in my book. Horrible experience! They damaged many of our most precious tangible items. We opted for the additional insurance, necessary with them, and confirmed with two employees that it was selected. The additional insurance was even on my invoice. They are denying the additional insurance claim and reverting to the 60 cents per pound. They were incompetent and negligent in our move. read more

I would not recommend this moving company. While they moved our furniture in a timely manner, the quality was extremely poor. They took a set of heavy, rusty free weights that we had sitting out loose in our storage unit and put it inside a tub we had labeled "fragile decorations." The box of decorations clearly had fragile, glass items inside, and the workers put our weights in this box. When we unpacked, we found all the decorations in this bin were completely shattered by the weights. When I called the company, they said they couldn't do anything because we didn't "witness" them put the weights inside the tub. read more

I found this company via Groupon. I scheduled them to come out on 11/27/19. The day before Thanksgiving. They were supposed to start between 1pm and 2pm. I called them a little after 1 to confirm they were still coming. I was told by Richard they would be there around 2pm. They did not show up until 7:30pm. I called the office several times from 2-6 and no one answered. The movers did call me after 4 saying they were still at their last move and would arrive as soon as they could. When they arrived, they were very friendly and nice guys. They did scratch the ceiling of the newly painted wall at the top of the stairs. They finished about 3 hours later. The late start really disrupted our day. We wasted a lot of hours waiting around. read more

This was the worst moving experience ever. There was a walkthrough done for purpose of determining how much stuff we have and how many trucks/men would be needed. It was determined that Two moving trucks would be enough to move our 4 bedroom 3.5 Bath 3 story home. We informed the movers that we had to have all of the items out of the house on that day due to the new owners moving in that afternoon. I called the lead mover who did the walkthrough and he assured me everything was going smoothly and that there were no issues. After the closing was completed we returned to the home to ensure everything was going well. We discovered that there was a large number of our items that were still in the home. I asked the Lead mover why he didn't inform me of issues throughout the move when I called to ensure things were going well and he had no response... My Zero Turn Mower was broken, Two couches destroyed. Several family Heirlooms broken, numerous plates and tables broken. There was no accountability for there actions and the Insurance is totally a joke... It took almost a year to get a settlement. I would not recommend using this service. read more
