It's a nice coin laundry machine warehouse. It's also very sanitary, I like to go here when I'm coming to visit Honolulu to go shopping and visit family and friends. The staff keep the machines clean & running. There's a cash to coin dispenser if you are short of coins you can exchange for cash to get your laundry needs done. I would advise bringing your own detergent. Right next door is a Seven Eleven if you need to get detergent. It's one of the busiest laundromat locations so I would probably get here early if you need to. read more

THEY WILL TOW YOUR CAR HERE. I parked, put my clothes in the wash for a 25 minute cycle, went to 7/11 in the same lot and bought some snacks. Then went to look at the food trucks an across the street. We were back with 2 minutes of the cycle left and my car was gone. I called the tow company and they said they saw on camera that we left so they towed our car. They literally are watching the cameras and waiting for any unsuspecting people. My tow payment was over $200 because I walked across the street for a few minutes. Not only that, but the drying machines did not accept cards and required coins, and their coin machines do not take one dollar bills. read more

I Do laundromat is one of two closely located 24 hour laundromats in the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort Waikiki vicinity. Since the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort, despite its massive complex, had no laundry facilities to speak of , this was the best and closest location where you could walk within a mile to wash your dirty clothes. The overall location was safe , at least during the daytime, and is easily reachable if you follow the busy Ala Moana Blvd on foot. Your typical neighborhood laundromat. Expect to mingle with the locals, local homeless, and fellow hotel travelers doing their laundry there as well. I recommend you go to this facility early in the morning, as it doesn't seem to be as crowded. Also, certain washers and dryers seem to be always out of order for whatever reason, and change can be hard to come by if their change machine is out of change. Some machines have credit card swipers, but they are for the more expensive machines accommodating larger laundry loads. While you wait, a 7-11 convenience store is located behind the facility for a good quick bite from their extensive food menu, both Japanese and American and great beverages. Beware if you park in the parking lot. Both the IDo laundromat and 7-11 share the same parking lot and they have a contracted tow truck company that are very aggressive if they even think if your car has overstayed their welcome. I give this laundromat three stars because of its convenience, but it is rather dirty. ( The lint catcher in one of the dryers had suspicious pills!) read more

I was tired of waiting for a repair, so I drove down the street to this location of iDo Laundry. I was thankful for the experience I had. It's located in the old Jack in the Box at the corner of Kalakaua and McCully, connected to a 7Eleven. It's open 24 hours, is well lit, and kept super clean. They have normal commercial washers, large size for bulky items, dryers, a change station, detergent machine, and large stainless tables for folding. Prices are reasonable for the tourist heavy area, which is great for visitors and locals alike. Being next to a convenience store is great to grab a drink or snack while you wait, machines lock during the cycle but it felt safe. It's easy to wait right outside in the fresh air and sunshine as well. Parking is ample and free, you can back up right to the door if you have many loads. read more

This was my first time ever using a laundromat and hopefully my last. It's located next to a 7-Eleven and doesn't have the best of people in the area. I was impressed that it was clean and seemed well maintained. The large capacity machines allowed me to do one big load and everything was properly cleaned. It is nice that there is a small parking lot attached that is free. However, the homeless and druggies in the area make it very sketchy. Don't think I would attempt to go there if I had to again in the evening or night time because of the riff-raff in the area that hang out close to the doorway. They do have a change machine and some machines take credit cards. There is also a vending machine for detergent and I'm sure the 7 Eleven next door sells stuff as well. They do have folding tables and limited seating. I wouldn't walk away though from the laundromat while doing your laundry due to the undesirables that might steal and if you park there, park where you can see you car because there is a lot of hanging out in the parking lot with questionable activities. read more

Whenever you're on vacation and you have to get laundry done, it's a little bit of a challenge because you're not really sure of the dodgy clientele or location or anything like that. This place is fantastically well run. It's right behind the 7-Eleven so it's a high traffic area and they keep the place a immaculately clean. While I was in there, they were two families and me and another single person doing their laundry and the owner and his employee were cleaning up and fixing things and taking care of business. Very impressed with their operation. I know it's just a laundromat, but if you've ever been on vacation, you've seen some pretty crazy stuff in laundromats. This is not that place. Do NOT PARK at this 7-11 / Laundry parking lot if you plan to shop there or use their services. They do some shady business and are on it with VIP Towing that will literally steal your car from the parking lot while you are in there. Left my car there less than 15 minutes and as I was walking out the VIP Towing was taking it away. That is all they do, they wait there and illegally tow (steal) your car and tell you to call the number and go to their impound to pick it up. It's couple of miles down the road, super sketchy place, and of course you can not pay with the credit card, they only take cash. This is all super shady, and they are all in on it. 7/11, laundry place, and VIP towing. Mafia is all connected and running the show, stealing from people. Read the reviews on VIP Towing and it will tell you the entire story. So many people have had their vehicle stolen by the towing company but 7/11 and the Laundry place I am sure is on it for a certain cut. I came in about 10:30a on a Friday and it wasn't very busy. There was an employee who was mopping, cleaning the machines, wiping the folding table areas, and the inside of the machines. I've never seen an employee at a laundromat before let alone one who was cleaning with such detail and care as the young man cleaning here. It was $3.50 for a top loader and $1.75 for a dryer, though I added another .50 cents to make sure my clothes would be fully dried. There is a coin machine at the back of the business that, as overheard from the employee, does change out $20 bills even though it only states $1 and $5 bills. I was in and out and on my way with clean clothes as our hotel didn't have any washers/dryers on premises. read more

Yes $2 dollar bills. my only recommendation before arriving would be to have $5/$10 bills because it's a hassle to get change otherwise. This laundromat has a very reliable quarters machine and mostly broken laundry machines, so it is a great spot to go get your quarters, and then you can use them at another laundromat across the street where your clothes can actually get cleaned. There is a sign above the quarters machine that discourages doing this, however since all the laundry machines are always broken, the quarters machine is the only way to spend money at the business and i want to support it the best that I can read more

Basic self-serve laundry. I appreciate that they have a few machines that take cards. Normally not attended but I went on a Wednesday morning between 7:30am and 9:00 and an attendant and owner stopped by to clean, both friendly and helpful when a machine gave me an error. (But if they hadn't been there the machine would have just eaten my money) Recommend going during the daytime- I've been to this location in the evening before and there were many people loitering in the parking lot and laundromat that were not there to do laundry. Update 6/10/22 Quite a few machines out of service, including the extra large dryer. Much dirtier than the last time I visited. Tip- make sure washer is running before putting in detergent, I've wasted quite a bit adding it to a machine that wouldn't start. read more

iDo Laundry is located on Kalakaua Avenue right next door to the 7-11 convenience store. The laundromat is open 24 hours. I stepped foot into the laundromat for the first time on a Saturday after checking out of a hotel. I had to do a load of laundry before heading to work at the only gas station in Waikiki. I chose one of the top load washers to do my laundry. Eco cost for laundry is $2.75 for 29 minutes. The front load dryers cost $1.50 for 18 minutes. Be aware when inserting coins for the dryer since the coin inserts is for both top and bottom dryers. I accidentally pressed the top dryer button when my clothes were located in the bottom dryer. Good thing there's the pause button. Customers of the laundromat should always remember to remove the lint from the lint drawers. The lint drawer that was attached to the bottom dryer had a lot of lint. Majority of the laundromat was clean. The floor itself needed some sweeping though. If I ever do need to do laundry in Waikiki at least now I know on where to go. Some of the hotel laundromats cost too much. read more

Our apartment wont allow us to wash big blankets on our laundry area that is why we're doing our big blanket laundry here in iDo Laundry today. The Good - They have lot's of washers and dryers. (6 normal sized washers, 5 our of 6 heavy duty washers working and 12 out of 15 dryers working) We had experiences on other Laundromats that only 1/4 of their Washing and Dyer Machines working. - They have parking space - 1 big table to fold your clothes - well-ventilated - Open 24/7 - Easy to locate because it's along Kalakaua(at the back of 7eleven) - well-ventilated - Has coin exchange machines - has soap vending machines - they accept credit cards The Bad - It's too open for public. There are many homeless people chillin inside but theyre not harmful though. - Too expensive! Cos we did blankets, we payed $7 for the ultimate cycle and $5 for the drying - They dont have any personnel inside to check or ask for assistance. Many customers are quite confused how some machines work. - There are times that the dryer stops so we were always on the lookout during the drying time - not enough seats for waiting customers Overall it's an average laundromat but there's a lot of things that can be improved. Good working laundry machines and dryers at this location. I was staying at the Hilton Village Waikiki last week and I'm glad this place was nearby/walking distance. (less than 10 minute walk) I originally was going to go to Ena Road Laundry and the moment I walked in around 2pm, the owner immediately turned me away and was rude as F! I told her I wanted to use the self service washing machine and told me to come back the next morning instead....The place didn't even seem that busy from what I saw. Anyways, I went down the block and arrived at IDo Laundry. They have a 7Eleven nearby and a spacious parking lot. The machines all seem pretty clean and I felt pretty comfortable being there. I walked around the block while I waited for my laundry to finish. They also have a coin change machine which was handy as well as machines that takes credit card! I would say its pretty reasonable pricing for this vs paying asking the hotel to clean your laundry. (Just FYI at the Hilton Village, they charge almost $5 for 1 tshirt lol) Lots of different size washing/drying machines and you can't go wrong here. Honestly, I have no complaints doing my laundry here and I would definitely come back here again! read more

There were 8 washers, of which, only 4 were working. There were 15 dryers, of which, only 8 were working. There were stickers on the equipment stating why the machines weren't working, with dates over 3 weeks past. Do to the high cost to wash a load of laundry, people were coming in with pre-washed clothes (probably done at home) only to dry them at this laundromat. This creates a log jam of people waiting. I wouldn't recommend this place, except it's the only thing close to Waikiki. read more
