It's open 24 hours, has an ATM & quarter change machine (which you can unofficially use for parking change in a pinch), free parking spots, and is conveniently located next to 7-11, ABC store, and close to Food Pantry for any shopping needs. Good little spot right off main drag to get some laundry done...place is open 24 hours 7 days a week so really convenient for anyone's schedule. They have 7 regular washers and 5 super capacity washers prices range from $2.75 to $6.50 depending on washers you want to use. They also have 15 dryers and basic time will cost you $1.50. They have a coin changing machine, Coke machine and laundry soaps as well to purchase. They have limited seating inside but also have a few benches outside. I've been here three times this month and during my initial visit I was pleasantly surprised by how clean it was. The following week I came back again and it was slightly dirtier and had a few homeless people hanging around inside but I was able to get my laundry done quickly and leave. Showed up again today, there is glass and a sticky substance all over the floor. Who is managing this place? It's progressively gotten worse in just three weeks. This iDo Laundry is very small and has limited washers and dryers. On top of that, the prices are pretty expensive. The place is rather dirty and I can tell homeless people in the area must try to sneak in since this place is open 24 hours a day (which is probably the only plus about this place). I'm not sure how often an attendant comes around to maintain and or supervise this laundromat. There is no longer a sink for washing due to the continual abuse of it, as one sign in the back points out. I personally didn't have any major issues when using this laundromat to do my loads on a Thursday night, but I highly doubt I'll come back here in the future because of the aforementioned issues and reasons. read more

This laundry mat is pretty standard, well lit, parking, 24 hours, etc. the issue is Price VS Performance... the washers are $6.25 per load when everywhere else is $3.25 - $3.50 give or take a few quarters. These are the same Standard washers Nothing to warrant a doubling of price!! The dryers is the reason for this review & their biggest rip off... $1.50 per cycle & you are guaranteed 2 -3 cycles because after the first one is finished your clothes are still wet!! It's difficult to pack enough clothes for a 10 day vacation, so I'm always looking for a place to do a few quick loads of laundry on vacation. This is a new place which is convenient for anyone visiting Waikiki. The washers and dryers are clean and new and the place is well-lit and open from early until late. You have to do your own laundry - no fluff and fold service :( but otherwise very convenient and a much needed asset to the immediate area. read more

Yes it's me again .... I have friends saying it's the cheapest place to laundry. So I go back and once again I find it a failure.... My reasons are very simple... Yes quarter per load is amazing but the spin cycle your cloths are so wet... Driers you will twice as much of not 3 times because they don't clean lint. I am a house cleaner plus tech on appliances so I know better. So I check grab so much lint it is amazing. Gross. But once I opened the lint box to take out the machine shuts down. My word to the owners is not negative... I have meant you on several occasions and you really our wonderful people. If you you stop being so greedy and just a little more giving... I can could own many more places and succeeding 10 times more. I would love to help. Hey on the homeless they are kind and harmless. I work with them a lot they will never you hurt you. Clean with great parking and lighting so going there at midnight wasn't scary. It's pricey though, but so is everything else in Honolulu. Only 1 machine was out of order and it was one of the older ones. Everything else worked fine. read more

The machine was BROKEN and took my coins. They WON'T EVEN REFUND your money if it was more than a month ago. No one will pick up your calls outside their very short business hours. There is no human on site, only cameras. Cars will get TOWED in AN HOUR if there was no person present. Notable for so many HOMELESS people around. There was no sign at one side of parking spot in front of laundry to be towed and overcharged me 24 hours for 1 hour that's parked there and 10 miles for 8.3 miles. The towing company voluntarily did not tell me what to bring and made me make another trip when they have my car and I have no transportation! Still did not tell me I need to pay in cash $200 in person at the first trip. Must be making so much money from towing cars, ripping the hell out of people. Clean and well lit laundromat right behind the Kuhio Pharmacy. They have three sizes if washers that range from $1.75-$3.75+ per load depending on options selected. The new location at 3133 Waialae Ace across from St Louis HS has drop off service but this location is self service only. Pros: - Convenient location, next to bus lines - 24/7 hours of operation - Efficient machines - Fairly clean and well maintained facilities Cons: - Kind of pricey - 3 washers and 3 dryers were out of order - Most card readers were out of order - Small space - No rolling baskets Experience: Brought about 4 small loads of laundry. Used two of the 1.5 load capacity machines to wash them ($3.00). It was kind of busy so the other washers were in use and 3 were broken. Card readers weren't working as well so I had to change some cash for quarters and make a stop at 711 to acquire a beverage and break a 20. The space is really small and the temperature can get a bit warm so it was nice to step outside while my clothes were in the wash. I used the jumbo dryer ($1.50 for 12 mins) on high heat. In 8 mins, my king size fuzzy blanket and 3 bedsheets were done, used the remaining time for my clothes. When it came time to fold, I was a little irritated because the 3 countertops were occupied by people (who weren't folding their clothes) and their belongings. One woman finally moved away while I was attempting to fold but left her suitcase/belongings on the counter. There were some tactless European tourists present as well who were crowding the small space even though only one person was doing a load of laundry. read more

Been doing laundry here for years. The cleanliness has gone down hill for a very obvious reason. I typically do my laundry at 7am and that's when it is the worst. I have no complaints except for the cleanliness. I've talked to the maintenance staff and they agree...this place turns into a mess at night. Not long ago it became a 24hr operation. That invited the vagrants and now it always looks like shit. Every call I've made to management has been answered promptly and they have come down to clean. They have plenty of washers and dryers and you can tell they service them regularly. There's ample parking area, not so much seating. They have change machine, atm machine and vending machine with drier sheets for sale, but they were all out. It's $3.75 per washer and about $2.00 for drier. The only good thing about this place is that's its cheap. It costs less than other laundry mats around. It's $1.75 for the small load wash and $.25 gets 4 minutes of drying. There is not a coin machine but the pharmacy will give quarters, no problem. My biggest complaint about this place is there is not enough small washers. Many times I will have to wait to start my wash. There are some shady people hanging around this place. Once a homeless guy actually put his dirty sweater in my wash. As many complaints as I may have I will continue to use this facility as it is conveniently located near where I live. read more

Are you in Waikiki and have a duffle of dirty panties? What can I say this is a laundry mat. At 4p on Monday it was kind of crowded. They have 5 large front load washers, 2 small front load washers, and 4 regular top load washers. They have 14 dryers. We were fortunate enough to get here when the equipment was open for use. There ended up being a line as we moved from washer to drying for the washing machines. Its a pretty small building. They have change machine that change dollars or fivers and vending machines that have sodas and dryer sheets, but no detergent. Bring your own detergent. We ended up with a bag of pods and there was a couple that didn't bring so we gave them the rest of the bag. We're not doing any more laundry here. Sharing is caring. I've done my laundry here several times and always been pleased with the performance of the equipment and the condition of the place. It's convenient having a store and ATM right next door. I was impressed at how the company stands behind its service. When a 5 block area, including the laundry mat, lost electricity in the middle of my wash, the company stepped up and took care of everything. I also like their location at 3133 Waialae Avenue. Whoever thinks this is a good laundry has not seen the locations at the Outrigger Reef in Waikiki or the Ohana East. Yes, the machines worked, however they were filthy. I'm not talking about guests who don't clean the dryer vents, this was old caked on detergent in the washers, weird stains, but s and baked-in lint in the dryer screens and trash on the floors. For $4 (1&1/2 size load washer with @super" cycle) or $3.75 regular washer and $3 for dryers, I don't think a little housekeeping is too much to ask. My husband and I travel a lot and we so appreciate a good laundromat! They had small and large capacity washer and dryers, were reasonably priced, the room was cool (i.e. Not boiling hot) and it's right next to 7-Eleven so you can buy snacks while you wait! I especially appreciate that the dryers actually dried our clothes without taking an hour! The only downside was they didn't have any baskets and the floor could use a good mopping. read more
