She apparently had time, so she tacked those couple minutes on to the end and I got as many minutes as I actually paid for - that's always super appreciated! It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. Me having slightly arthritic hands, I greatly appreciate her stamina! I left the appointment, amazed with an amount of flexibility in my neck and shoulders I haven't felt in probably 10 years. Today we drove over because I didn't feel like walking home in flip flops in the cold. :-) The shop is beautiful and spacious with an upscale feel. There are sections for manicures, and pedicures, and private rooms for facials. We chose the basic pedi, and received the 20% off January special. We received complimentary hot tea after we were seated in the gorgeous and comfortable brown leather armchairs. A novel aspect of this shop are the naturally antibacterial copper foot basins, used in Europe to promote a healthy immune system. Our services were performed by two of the owners, Orasa and Amanda. Our visit here was flawless and we will definitely return for more services. This is a lovely addition to the neighborhood.
